A great central location with sandy beach nearby

Excellent location just at the top of the high street and within walking distance of the beach. Accommodation was clean and comfortable overall and everything was exactly as advertised.

Some of the cutlery and crockery needed a good clean before use as there was no dishwasher so it was only as clean as the previous occupants left it. It is also worth noting that there is no upstairs bathroom and some steep stairs so perhaps not suitable for less agile guests who may need to get up in the night! Living accommodation was a little tight for four adults.

Marvellous location. Friendly neighbours. Aim to return nevertheless.

The spiral staircase but used to that in an earlier property in Norfolk. So a challenge particularly for nighttime toilet trips!

Very pleasant and good value.

Warm, cosy, clean, comfortable cottage. Well equipped. Good location. Met our expectations. Parked car and didn't need to use for two days.

We only had one bath towel between us. Two king sized towels would have been nice. Slightly larger TV would have been nice too as we tend to stay indoors in evening having been out during day. A bottle of milk in the fridge on arrival. Parking tricky but not the responsibility of owner.

Great location: Cheapest place by far that is so close to Southwold shops.

Great location just seconds from the High Street, as we can't walk very well.

We were sent two different key codes for the key safe. But only realised after we arrived and found that 5577 did NOT open the key safe. I think that was sent by Booking.Com. Thank goodness I could look on my mobile at the info sent by the owner to get the right number.

Exceptional

Location was excellent. The cottage was well stocked with equipment to make our stay comfortable. The beds were extremely cosy and there was a range of entertainment available should it be needed. There is a sunroof at the back of the building and a long and useful garden - ideal for sunning yourself!

The shower was a bit small in height and this caused some issues with take members of our family!

It was a very pleasant cottage in a really good location.

The parking could have been tricky in high season because there was not room to park down the side of the property on a couple of days and had to park on the common car park which gets very busy.

Very relaxing. Outstanding location for local walks.

Very convenient location - very easy walking distance to the sea, shops, etc.

A blue recycling bin would have been very useful. The neighbour is reluctant to allow people to use hers.

Nice location, but the cottage is quite basic and bit shabby, with an odd lay out.

The location is really good, and near the centre of town. Nice master bedroom.

The house feels quite shabby, with an uncomfortable sofa and master bed. The house has a very odd layout, with the only bathroom down a long corridor on the ground floor, and a garden room stuck behind the bathroom, which can only be accessed from outside. I really would NOT recommend this house to elderly travellers. The staircase is quite tricky up to the tiny top bedroom, with very narrow stairs.

Good location - and we had beautiful weather!

Lovely cottage but needs updating - bathroom and shower were inadequate. Kitchen poorly stocked with dishes, cutlery etc. Bed was a tad small.

Perfect location and great value for money

The location exceeded expectations. The cottage was cute and very clean. My bedroom was lovely but my two friends were a bit squished on the top floor
