Ideal location in Winchcombe
I stayed in this property with my family for a week.
The location in Winchcombe is perfect, easy walking distance to all shops , restaurants and local attractions and also ideally situated as a starting point to a wide variety of countryside walks both short and long.
The cottage is well equipped and has a lovely seating area at the rear which catches the sun in the afternoon.
Although there is no reserved parking we had no problem parking directly outside the property for the duration of our stay and there is plenty of alternative parking close by.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a stay in the Cotswolds.

Lovely cottage in the heart of a lovely Cotswold town
Well modernised cottage (but the stairs are not for the infirm!) with good selection of shops, pubs and a Michelin* restaurant nearby. Good walks and lots to do in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in Winchcombe. Loved the combination of the feel of being in a cottage with a lot of history with modern day comforts of a well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom with an amazing shower. The outside space was perfect ....a real suntrap and great place to relax after a long walk. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends.

Lovely property, great location
We throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at this cosy cottage.
Thoughtfully renovated to a very high standard and very well equipped.
The bonus for us was the outside space which enabled us to take full advantage of some unexpected, but glorious, April weather.
Winchcombe is a delightful little town with several pubs, restaurants and independent shops - as well as a castle at the end of the road!
Perfectly situated also for visiting all of the "must-see" places in the Cotswolds.

Fantastic cottage in beautiful area
Great cottage, well kitted out and very close to the castle, great walks and places for food and drink. Close to other beautiful villages and we talked all weekend about when we would be back.

Exactly as we expected my family loved this property right in the heart of stunning Winchcombe.
It had everything we needed and the lovely xmas touches made our stay even more special.
The stair cases are very narrow and it was s challenge to get our cases up to the top floor so we didnt in the end. No idea how the furniture made it up there lol.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and wash clothes and the kitchen nook made a lovely extra space for my family to spread out.
Thoroughly recommend this fabulous property on this historic village

Lovely place!
This place was absolutely charming and comfortable for our family of four! We had enough room to spread out, cook meals, and sleep peacefully. The beds were comfortable, the space is cozy, light, and bright. Great location- it was an easy walk to Sudeley Castle and into town, which has a handful of restaurants, markets, and shops. We also hiked to Belas Knapp. Easy drive to other Cotswolds towns, but also accessible to other areas further out. Amanda was attentive and easy to reach, the place was well-appointed with everything we needed for a great stay. Loved being here!

Delightful Winchcombe
The cottage is centered in Winchcombe making everything very accesible. The cottage has been updated with a modern kitchen and bathroom and is very lovingly decorated. The bed is large but a bit soft and the toilet is on the ground floor, whereas the bedroom is upstairs, but one gets used to it quickly and the cottage's location makes up for any minor inconveniences. There is no microwave, but the stove is easy to use and conveniently located. The cottage is well lit and comfortable. We would return to it should we return to Winchcombe.

Great place!
This was a great place to stay. We loved the 18th Century parts of this property and really appreciated the modern parts too! Amanda was great with communication before our trip, but was pretty silent once we arrived. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The towels and shower were great. We loved eating out on the patio. We were within easy walking distance of Sudeley Castle, the bus stop, grocery stores, and restaurants. And the people were so friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Feathered Nest!

Characterful cottage in a great location
A lovely old cottage well-equipped with modern facilities. Free parking on the quiet road outside, shops and restaurants close by. We walked down the lane to Sudeley Castle which is well worth a visit. On another day we took a slightly longer walk up to the heritage railway station at Greet and went on a steam train to Broadway. Overall we had the most relaxing few days we've had for a long time and would happily stay again.

Amazing cottage in a brilliant location
A really amazing cottage that is perfectly located, both for access to The Cotswolds and also for Winchombe Town. The cottage was a fantastic home to us for the week, close to the town centre and a short walk to Sudeley Castle.

Adorable cottage in beautiful small English village
Cute super clean historic cottage was well worth our time and money. Steps from Sudeley Castle which we toured. Paul and Amanda were great hosts-nice and helpful. Village shops and restaurants were full of friendly people and great food and drink. Highly recommended! We definitely would stay there again when we return to England

Lovely historic cottage, excellent location.
We had a fantastic 5 nights here, the cottage has been refurbished very well and is tastefully decorated. The heating is a bit idiosyncratic but works well once you figure it out. The kitchen had just about everything we needed, we enjoyed the garden and we slept soundly in the bedroom. We hope to be back again soon!
