The setting of this cottage is so lovely. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens from neighbors’ properties. Neighbors were absolutely lovely.
The cottage was well equipped and clean. Linens were provided and there was more than ample supply of towels, blankets, etc. The owners live close by and responded to any questions we had immediately.Lots of amenities, too! Two kayaks, pool noodles, life jackets, fishing poles, and an amazing large dock the whole family can enjoy and fish from! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Loved the lake view and sunsets. The patio was airy and perfect for eating dinner. Kids loved it and wished it was summer to go kayaking or swimming…Next time. Great location, neighbors were friendly and pets are welcomed! Host was great and timely with communication. Highly recommend.

My family (pups included!) had a wonderful time regardless of the cold & rainy weather. It was nice to getaway from the every day hustle & bustle and just truly relax. The house was clean and cozy, the kitchen was everything that we needed. It was a general consensus that the mattresses could use some replacing, other than that we had a great time and will hopefully be back during warmer seasons!

The Hamm's Cottage comfortably fit our group of 7. We had a beautiful view of Lake Keuka and were close to many wineries on Keuka and Seneca. Inside includes a well-equipped kitchen, large sitting area, and large bathroom. Outside there are two kayaks, a fire pit, a table and plenty of chairs, screened porch with a table and chairs, and a big dock. We had a lovely time visiting the local wineries, Windmill Craft Market and spending mornings and evenings outside enjoying the scenic view with coffee and wine 😊
To note: There are about 45 stairs to the cottage from the parking area. The second-floor bedrooms do not have access to the downstairs through the house, you must go outside. Second-floor heat is provided by space heaters. (These were not issues for our group but I wanted to mention)

We had a wonderful week at this little cottage with such a lovely setting with a nice yard with plenty of both sun and shade right on the water. The owners were wonderful to rent from. They were responsive to any needs or questions and wanted to ensure that we had a great stay. And we did!

The cottage was nice. we had a couple of issues but they were taken care of. The owners were real nice people. Just a heads up the 2 upstairs bedrooms don't have a entrance to down stairs. You have to go outside to get to the bathroom down stairs. If you have any trouble walking this is not a good place it has 45 stairs to the cottage.

Lovely small lake home with nice lawn, dock and location. There are a lot of stairs down to house ( not unusual for a lake home). Only downside was two bedrooms are not accessible from inside so you must go down a flight of stairs outside to use bathroom in the main house if you are sleeping in the two “upstairs” bedrooms.

We were suppose to have friends come with us which would have been perfect place…but they got sick and we had the most amazing time alone with a beautiful sunset and moon lit night dancing on the dock!!

The cottage was comfortable with good bed mattresses and plenty of room. It was in good repair, too. We loved the large lakefront lawn and access to the water - nice dock, walk-in area and use of 2 kayaks. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. It was a great place to stay.

We had a great time here. The views are beautiful. It's hard to find a property like this with a level yard from the house out to the water. Our dog had room to run and was very content. The shade from the trees was perfect when you needed a break from the sun. Our kids could easily walk right into the water to take the kayaks out. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was a great spot too.

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. No matter where you were in the home you saw the water. Many options for eating: dining room, screened-in porch ( my favorite ) or outside patio. The kitchen is big enough for whatever meals you would prepare and tgere is a grill. The lakefront lawn was perfect for our pup and nighttime campfires. The owner was just finishing up putring on new decking so the dock will be very nice. Kayaks were available, just roll them into the water and off you go.
Other pluses: owners live right behind and are great with communication, gas for grill provided, firewood provided, very spacious and clean bathroom, east lake road is beautiful and safe for walking or biking
We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this property. The listing described it perfectly, it was bigger than we thought based on the photos. Lots of room to spread out. The dock and yard were very nice, perfect dock for swimming, fishing and docking a boat. Being only 6-7 miles from the launch made it easy to get our boat to the cottage. All in all, we had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again! Thanks for helping us enjoy our summer!

Exactly what we were looking for in a lakeside cottage. Very clean, cozy, comfortable and steps from the water. Lakeside yard is large and flat. Brought my own kayak with perfect launch point on the property. Kayaked every morning and evening and spent our days hiking with our dog at the various state parks in the area. Such a great area and location which is central to everything in the region (Parks, hiking, wineries, town centers, etc.). Scenery is beautiful, so even driving to various locations is pleasant. Owner (Mary Ellen) was super responsive and helpful. Overall a great property and stay!

The cottage was just what we were looking for and had everything we needed. Mary Ellen was great and answered all questions that we had. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. It was the perfect location on the lake that we love.

Bring your food and clothes and start relaxing. Cottage is clean and comfortable, loved stretching out on the built in couch and looking out at the lake. Was great that owner allowed us to bring our 2 large dogs. Just asked us to cover couch with sheets which we gladly did. Many rentals listed as pet friendly often limit size and number of dogs so we always ask prior to reserving. Owner communication was great. Even checked to be sure we were able to work the heaters on a chilly nite. Kitchen was fully equipped with enough dinnerware, utensils etc. even had a crockpot.

Everything was as described and worth the money. The owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful. It is so close to wineries, the windmill, and Penn Yan is only 10 minute drive away. We even took a day trip to Ithaca for some hiking which is less than an hour away. It was a great stay. Would highly recommend!

The cabin was very cute, and immaculate. The first thing we all noticed was how clean it smelled. The description neglected to mention how many stairs it was leading down to the property: 47 very steep steep stairs. This made dragging down luggage and groceries cumbersome, since it wasn't expected. The bedrooms are also separated. The person who sleeps in the upper bedroom with the two queen beds needs to walk outside and down 13 steep stairs in order to get to the one restroom that the cabin has. There is also a washer/dryer listed as an amenity, which did not work. The washer had been shut off, and when mentioned to the owner, she knew but had neglected to tell us. Which meant we ended up washing our clothes in the kitchen sink. The air conditioner in the lower portion of the cabin was not very effective, but luckily we had brought our own floor fans and the nights were cool so we could cool off the cabin. The lake front was beautiful and clear, and having two areas that we were able to walk in was wonderful. Overall, a nice stay, but the owner considered it a "seasonal cabin" and treated it as such in terms of upgrades and maintenance.
