Bertus is a TOP HOST, willing for everything.
It was a pleasure met him as well as have dinner in his Restaurant, same place of valuable breakfast.
Marken is a such amazing place, the B&B deserves all the previous positive feedbacks.
It would be great to have some feature to get more dark on the room in early morning

Nice traditional house, with tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms. I very much enjoyed the shared access to a well equiped kitchen with courtesy coffee/tea. Excellent buffet breakfast at the restaurant run by the owner (a very welcoming and accomodating person).
Nothing negative to say. The shared toilets and shower are impeccable and not an inconvenience at all.

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful
Breakfast was great
The situation- ie Marken, is unique- cycling through waterland on a summer evening was almost surreal.A shame I had little time to explore, but I'll definitely return and would be delighted to stay at De Pepersteeg again
It had taken me 11 hours to cycle there from Europoort -obviously not the fault of De Pepersteeg!
Otherwise nothing

We enjoyed this wonderfully decorated little house and immediately felt at home. The owner Bartus is also running a local restaurant/bar/cafe nearby with excellent food.

I really liked this wonderful place and everything was as in the photos. The host was so kind and I appreciated delicious breakfast, the room has definitely all what is necessary. The accommodation is so close to museum, the protestant church, supermarket and is a pleasure just to enjoy the a walk and discover Marken. I will sure come again and recommend to relax here.

The Bed and Breakfast is nicely designed with attention to detail, cozy in beautiful location, which feels like a movie set. I even asked some locals if they were real inhabitants or actors acting on the movie scene. The owner was very hospitable. Sumptuous breakfast served in a near restaurant

Dined and breakfasted at De Verkeerde Wereld, 200 m away; highly recommended.
Very quiet.

I loved everything. The cleanliness. The breakfast. The kindness of the owner. The quiet location. It is located near the Marken Museum. The owner owns a cozy Café nearby that is recommended to visit.
I did not have any issue with it, but some of the rooms are accessed through ¨spiral staircases¨ , so if you have any accessibility needs, I´d recommend to ask regarding the accessibility of the room

The owners were very welcoming and the stay itself is good, not bad at all. It can be hard for some people to climb the narrow stairs up to the third floor, but doable. Everything was clean.
The Bed and Breakfast was hard to find, there is a small sign but don't go through the first door you see, that is some people's home, you need to go couple of meters in to see the actual door.

Easy to reach by bus from Amsterdam or boat from Volendam. Lovely welcome when I arrived. The room was clean and airy and the bed was comfortable - I particularly liked the cover with poppies. Good quiet location. The breakfast (at their local cafe/restaurant) was tasty with plenty of choice and in fine weather you can sit outside. I'd happily stay there again.

Very lovely place in a beautiful village. The common kitchen was well equipped and the staff very friendly. The restaurant where you do the check in and where breakfast is served is at 2 minutes walking distance. awe also had dinner there which was really good. Would definitely come back again.
Thanks again that we could bring our dog!

Was so special to have a night to walk the quiet streets of Marken! We had the top bedroom with a shared bath. It was small and perfect. We could look out the window into a little square. The breakfast was at a restaurant a short walk away and was really nice, we ate dinner there the night before too. Would definitely stay again!

I liked the atmosphere and authenticity of the place and the friendliness of Bertus
