Nice house in a quiet environment. However, the presence of spiders needed attention in the bedroom and porch. Nevertheless, this house is perfect for people who want a break from everything

My husband and 21 year old son traveled to KC to visit family. Excellent location for our purpose. This lovely old home has lots of character. The living space accommodates 3 easily, but may not provide enough seating for more. Three real beds, nicely remodeled kitchen, clean, fast communication with host. There s only one bathroom, which might be a concern. The bathroom has been remodeled and the shower is great. Overall, I highly recommend- would stay again.

Host responded quickly. There were no issues during a months stay. Property as described is very livable. Nice big yard yard. Lots of charm. Will come back and stay again. Location is great and at the end of a dead end street

Home is in a neighborhood, so it felt homey. At the end of the street so it was free from local traffic. So easy to get to I 35, Brookside, Plaza and Westport area.
First floor has everything you need although there is an upstairs for more guests. Back porch looks like it would be wonderful in warmer weather.
Enjoyed the ease of getting around and comfort of home. Would stay again.

Our oldest daughter & family just relocated to the Kansas City area & the rest of our family gathered in the area to spend some time together. Staying in this VRBO allowed us to all be together, which a hotel room would not have been able to accommodate us.

As this was my first experience with VRBO, I was delighted to find the home was everything I hoped for and more. The spacious, beautifully updated house was perfect for lounging, making meals and watching the birds and bunnies in the shady yard from the front porch rockers. The location couldn't have been better, tucked in a lovely, quiet, and safe residential neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants and main crossroads nearby. Patricia was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. The only downside was temperature control. As with older houses, the downstairs stayed cool and comfortable (very reliable central a.c.) but on hot nights, the upstairs bedrooms were toasty. All in all, a minor issue. This home was a great choice for our family get together and we would recommend others try it.

We had a great stay and our family loved how centrally located the house was while still feeling like a secluded home with lots of space for scooters, bikes, and playing!

It was beautiful but the bathroom is very very small. For just the two of us it worked but for any more than 2 people it would be difficult.

Our family stayed for 2 weeks while house hunting. This was a great landing spot and central location for getting around. Patricia and her husband were very responsive and helpful. Great hosts.

My husband and I spent four nights at this property. We loved it! It’s an older house with all the uniqueness and warmth of the original woodwork and flooring. The open floor plan was perfect for having our small extended family over to celebrate two different birthdays. The location was also great for us - close to family AND shopping. Although it’s very near interstates, the noise did not bother us at all. Beds were very comfy. Patricia was wonderful to work with. We definitely plan to stay at this home again when we visit KC.

I stayed a week and it was nice to have a home base close to the hospital a family member had surgery at. It had pretty much everything you needed. Close to the plaza, the legends, target and a grocery story. You could DoorDash if you didn’t want to cook or get back out. It’s off of a busy main road; so there is road noise and sirens that passed by. The house is on a dead end street; so there is no traffic coming up and down the street. Neighbors were quiet. I would stay again.

This was a great place to relax after enjoying the many attractions of of KC. It was easy to get to all the places we wanted to see. The neighborhood was quiet and restful and there bunnies, birds, and chipmunks to watch in the yard. We will definitely want to stay here again the next time we visit KC

This property was just wonderful: Full of vintage charm, amazing kitchen & bath, comfortable beds, clean throughout and all of it located in a quiet neighborhood. You may hear cars traveling on nearby thoroughfares during the day, but it becomes a non-issue after hours. During our four days in Kansas City, this property was perfect and far superior to any cramped downtown hotel room. Thank you Patricia!

We stayed at Patricia’s home over Valentines weekend. Check in was extremely easy with the keypad on door. Patricia was just a text or phone call away if we needed anything. The home was very clean and comfortable with lots of living space to hang out.
