Beautiful property with spacious bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and amazing pool and hot tub. Great for families and friends. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.
5.0 / 5.0
The property was located perfectly for our first visit to the Cayman Islands. We were three couples that thoroughly enjoyed the large bedrooms, the beautiful pool and hot tub very close location to spot beach and the grocery store and liquor store. We enjoyed staying in the quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle, bustle, but a quick drive if you wanted to enjoy the busier scene and Cayman Island. The home is very well equipped with every appliance and dish you would want. The only thing that we felt needed upgrading was maybe some cushions for the lounge chairs around the pool. We were lucky enough to see an assortment of iguanas and parrots daily in the beautiful backyard. It is a beautiful property to stay at, and we would return.

Great house for a family and friends, all accommodations were great, fully stocked, great instructions, simple and easy, great to have onsite greeter, wonderful pool and hot tub

We had a large group and a rental car and this home worked wonderfully for us.
4.0 / 5.0
Very nice house and easy to find with Waze, etc. and close to grocery store. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Kitchen well equipped and easy to use. Water pressure is somewhat low, and hot water in the bathrooms could use some improvement. Overall it was a very nice experience spending a week at this house with our family.

We (a total of 3 families, each with at least one child) stayed at the property during late February. The onsite caretaker is responsive and helpful but unobtrusive. We did not notice her unless she was helping out (she was great). The bedrooms provided each family with privacy, a bathroom, and sufficient space. The kitchen is better equipped than most rentals—we sauteed and baked many great meals. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. The outdoor space has shade at any time of day and space for people to gather in a group or spread out. The closest beach (Spotts) is not easily walkable but only a few minutes drive (we saw many turtles and fish). Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We had 3 families with children & it was perfect for us all. Lots of space with large bedrooms. Common areas were comfortable & kitchen was so well stocked for us to cook & eat together. The pool and backyard was amazing. Kids swam & swam!
Personal conversations with the owner & house manager were easy & welcomed.
Couldn’t have had a better house for our stay!

Our family of 6 stayed here recently and had a wonderful time. The home is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. We used the pool and hot tub daily and cooked out several times on the built in outdoor grill. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit the area but have some seclusion from busier areas like Seven Mile Beach. The owner, Cherie, responded immediately to any questions we had.
*Bonus - we were able to watch the New Years Eve fireworks displays from the house*
I would recommend Smiths Cove for snorkeling and either Rackams Waterfront Restaurant and Bar or Silver Side Restaurant and Rum Bar for wonderful meals on the water. We loved both!

This property is stunning and has everything you need :) We were thrilled with the property, the location, the hosts, and the accommodations! Cherie, the host, is accommodating and excellent with communication, and Arlene, the property manager, was very nice and helpful when we arrived. The property was about a 5-minute drive to Spott Beach and only a 20-minute drive to Smith's Cove which was our favorite.

The property is beautiful. The house is fully stocked with appliances, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The pool and hot tub are very nice but the pool is not heated. The shower pressure is poor. The location is good and it's only a 20 minute drive to 7 mile beach.

We were lucky enough to be the first family to
stay in the house since covid. This is the second time we stayed in this house. It’s not on the beach but the perfect location. You can walk to the local grocery store and the beach is just 10 minutes away. There owner provides you with EVERYTHING you need. Perfect house if you have a larger family. The back yard is perfect! It has a nice size pool, jacuzzi and a gazebo with lights. The owner is very responsive! Will definitely be back.

Nothing short of spectacular
The Serene Savannah estate is an amazing home that will delight all travelers. It's location is perfect in being located within easy driving distance of Seven Mile beach and West Bay, and also Rum Point and the East coast of Grand Cayman. Grocery shopping options are also within a few minutes drive from this lovely estate. The home itself if absolutely gorgeous, with lots of room. It is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. Towels ( both bath and beach) were plentiful.
The onsite property manager is delightful and very responsive.
The pool and spa, located feet from the back door were a real bonus for us.
Thank you Collins family for providing a top notch estate for our adventures on Grand Cayman. We hope to return .

Take pictures be aware of the on site manager
Have stayed at thus property many times with no problems and would always recommend as the place to go. But, all must know there is a new on-site property manager who resides on top floor.
If going for a secluded private get away, just expect you will have more privacy in a hotel.
Further. Accused of causing damage which is 100% false and absurd. Take photos before and after.

Fantastic Home Away from Home!
This property is in a great location, quite close to the airport, downtown, local shopping and restaurants. It has a wonderful pool and hot tub and a very comfortable and spacious house. All aspects of our booking and stay were seamless and very comfortable!!

Perfect House
This is the most beautiful VRBO property I’ve stayed. All of the accommodations were wonderful from the beds and linens, to the full kitchen with everything you need to make meals. The pool and hot tub were outstanding and we sat out in the covered gazebo each morning and read. The beach is Avery short drive away as well as the grocery and dining options. I highly recommend this property, the owners and Kerry the caretaker who helped us a few times while we were here.

Great Home in Good Location
We chose this property for its location and amenities and were not disappointed. A pool is a must for the Caymans and this one was a welcome respite from the heat. The home is very spacious and luxurious. It is a few miles from Georgetown and even easier to get to Rum Point and the East Bay areas that are less touristy and crowded. Judy was most helpful with any issues we had which were minimal. The chickens and street noise that some have mentioned were only minor inconveniences and did not distract from the experience. You don 't come to Grand Cayman to watch TV, but the electronics in the home are outdated and most were not useable. A small price to pay for the overall ambiance of the home. We can recommend this property to families needing a large accommodation. Keep in mind, however, there is a surcharge for each person in your party in excess of four.

Great location, Great house, Great time!
Probably the best family vacation ever. The house is terrific and more than adequately fit the 8 adults and 3 kids of under 4 1/2. Having the pool was great for spending time in between beach runs. We found the Savannah location to be central and gave us easy access to all parts of the island. When we come back this will be our first choice!

Restful haven on a busy island
Super delux accommodations. We all agreed the home was beautiful, inside and out. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and given a tour. As soon as we walked in we all just relaxed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything!! The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Would go back in a heartbeat!

WONDERFUL STAY....
This home absolutely had anything anyone could want. The kitchen was truly like walking into my own, complete with every small appliance, spices, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. It was amazing!
The pictures of this home were beautiful but didn't do it justice. It is breathtaking. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus for our group of 11 adults. None of us ever felt crowded in this home or pool area.
Bath & beach towels were numerous and very nice. Plenty of closet space and hangers. Bath's were nice size and well lit.
The grocery store located near by had everything you could want including a wonderful buffet for a quick lunch or dinner.
There are no beach chairs offered with this home but Judy did find us a small cooler to use while we were there.
As other reviews mentioned there was street & rooster noise all hours of the day and night, however, islands are typically known for their chicken population and can be seen everywhere. This is nothing the owner can control.
We were not taken with Spott's beach due to high waves and sea grass but we all loved 7 mile beach. Cherie recommended 'Royal Palm Beach Club' as they allow guests staying in private homes their chairs for free. The RPBC has everything and their food is wonderful.
We spent Sunday at the 'White House' for brunch & my sister's birthday party. Carlos was extremely accommodating with our reservations for brunch & deck area for our group.
Da' Fish Shack, Paradise Seaside Bar & Grill, Tukka's all had great food and seaside views.
'Crazy Crab' 5 hour tour of Rum Point Reef, Star Fish Bay, Sting Ray City & Bio Illuminious Bay was incredible! Matt & Canyon were the best guides ever. We all felt Rum Point itself was too crowded & expensive!
Should you need a rental van while on island, Andy's Rentals at airport has a very nice 9 passenger and 7 passenger that we used. Their unit are new, clean and in great working order.
We would all stay here again and highly recommend this home for large groups. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home away from home with us.

Super nice house!!
Luxurious accommodations kept extremely well. We enjoyed the spacious living room and pool-hotub area. It is only a short drive downtown and a few minutes from spots beach. We also enjoyed the safe neighborhood and went on daily walks and runs away from the traffic. Would and have recommended this house to friends. We will be back!!!

A week in "paradise"
This is an excellent, well-maintained property with beautiful grounds. We spent the week between Christmas and New Year there with our two son's families. The house was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and with plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes/glasses/cups. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride for their property. We had great weather and spent most of our days around the pool while we enjoyed good food at very nice restaurants in the evenings. We had been to Grand Cayman several times before but this was our first time in a house, which was perfect with our young grand kinds and the outdoor pool. New Year's eve was an amazing experience with fireworks that went on for at least 20min even from private yards around the property. We heard that the 7-mile beech was packed that night!

Grand House! Wonderful Amenities! Spacious, yet Charming.
It is the perfect house to host a family get togther. We rented it to host family for a funeral. The home promotes fun and interaction so it helped to lift our spirits and focus on the positive. A big thank you to our hosts! We would definitely book again if we had a family function.

Amazing Girls Vacation
The house is absolutely gorgeous. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for 8 ladies. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would find in your own home. Bathrooms are very spacious with plenty of towels. The outdoor pool area is a great place to spend time and enjoy the sunrise/senset. Highly recommend staying.

Amazing!
We really enjoyed our stay in Grand Cayman! The house was amazing and it was great to be able to come back from excursions and relax by the pool. The house is clean and easy to use. We had 9 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. Judy was very helpful when we had questions about the jacuzzi. The chickens on the island are a little hard to get used too, especially when they are waking you up early but can’t really complain when everything else was so great.
We will definitely be coming back!

Large beautiful house in OK location.
The home is very nicely furnished and was clean as a whistle. It was good to have a pool and hot tub. The housekeeper works nearby and is reachable by cell phone so that worked well. The island has a chicken problem and they crow at each other at ALL hours. If you want a window open at night to get some breeze you will be awake from 4 in the morning !
The traffic noise from the only road on the island is only really annoying when screaming motorcycles and heavy trucks are passing (which is quite often).

Grand Cayman Vacation , Savannah!
Absolutely the best vacation we have had! Loved the location and beautiful home we stayed in. The location was central to all the activities we had planned during our vacation. A great quiet get-a-way to come back to at the end of exploring the island.
Definitely coming back !! Grand Cayman, you stole our hearts!!!

This Villa is AMAZING...Look NO further..you found your PERFECT villa on Grand Cayman
How to write a proper review of a property such as this, well I’ll start out saying that my wife and I have been blessed to travel to many MANY places around the world. We stayed for 2 weeks in this wonderful villa. About 10 years ago we started renting villas instead of hotels as we travel. This villa stands HEAD and SHOULDERS above the rest. It truly is centrally located about 15min from downtown Georgetown and 25 min to 7 mile beach ( BTW we found that Spotts beach was even nicer then 7 mile beach and it’s walking distance from the villa, just over 1/2 mile). The villa itself was AMAZING we stayed for 2 weeks with 4 couples. We NEVER felt like we were on top of each other. I asked the other couples what I should include in this review so here it goes : Good Wi-Fi , Grounds and pool kept great , décor exceptional ( you will feel like you are in your own home ), well laid out ( rooms VERY spacious ) . You can tell the owner’s (Kevin and Cherie) truly care to make you feel comfortable. The grill was wonderful and EVERY night we ended having a “couples retreat “in the hot tub under the stars. Universally they ALL said “We would rent this villa again “. The icing on the cake was the property manager Judy Scott, from the moment we arrived until the minute we left she was AMAZING! Any little issue she was right on it! She would even call to make sure everything was ok, she would call and say “Andrew I haven’t heard from you in a few days is everything ok? And we’d laugh “. We truly can’t wait to visit Grand Cayman again...and we will definitely stay at this wonderful villa! FIVE STARS!

Cayman Island Chateau February 2018
We enjoyed our first visit to the Cayman Islands! The people were friendly, the food delicious, the weather perfect, the ocean, beaches and the sea life fantastic!
Our 10 day stay at this property was very relaxing and comfortable. We had a car, and liked the central location, being able to explore the island from tip to tip. The property is well maintained, by landscapers, pool and cleaning services. Ms Judy the onsite property manager was a phone call away and allowed us our privacy. We cooked many meals on property and enjoyed the BBQ and well stocked kitchen. Very nice to stay at a place that had so many spices, sauces, cookware, utensils and supplies to work with. The pool and hot tub were both used. The hot tub does not have jets and was not as warm as we prefer, but was still used daily. The pool had a fountain we never figured out how to turn on but imagined it would be beautiful. The house was much larger than we needed (or used) for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable, air conditioner worked great and house well appointed. We walked to the beach several times, an easy walk, but lots of traffic on the road to be aware of. Grocery, pharmacy and liquor stores close and convenient. Overall a beautiful home with great accommodations.

Fabulous private home with great amenities
Fabulous private home in an attractive and safe neighborhood just minutes from Spotts Beach and a nice suburban shopping center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with all kinds of room to move about and especially enjoyed the pool and spa area using the patio for our daily morning coffee. The Master suite was spacious and well appointed and the Master bath had a great shower and spa tub. Upstairs bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as well. Kitchen is gorgeous and well appointed if you plan on doing any cooking during your visit. The generous supply of beach towels and cooler available were perfect for us since we spent most of our days moving from beach to beach all around the island and allowed us to take food and beverage with us. The snorkeling at nearby Spotts Beach can be superb in shallow water (under 12') that is protected by an outside reef. Our son got some great GoPro video of turtles, colorful fish, and a huge school of squid. Judy, the house keeper is extremely helpful if you have any questions or needs. It was so nice not to have to put up with the hastle and buzz of a resort and have our morning coffee and breakfast and our evening cocktails at our leisure and not at resort prices.

Love this house --- really close drive from anywhere, so definitely get a rental car. Very clean, all the kitchen amenities, condiments, and home-y extras to make everyone happy.
Wifi is slow (usable) -- However, if you're into amazing wifi connectivity, it's really cheap to pick up a Digicel internet device from any Digicel provider to use that's WAY FASTER.
When you book it, ask Kevin/Cherie to please book a daily pool cleaning for the duration of your stay. The Iguanas really love the swimming pool.
Otherwise, ANYTHING and everything you could possibly need for a stay in the Cayman Islands is here. The house manager, Judy is really nice, and Patricia is really nice too (helps clean, and can even cook some delicious Island food for you too)!
Oh, and June-November is the rainy/mosquito season. Come prepared.

This is our last day here and we absolutely love this house! The pictures do not do it justice! It was just my husband and me, an anniversary trip, so the house was way too large for us, but with the master on the first floor, we didn't use the upstairs. This was our first trip to Grand Cayman so not sure where to stay but this was the best choice! Very quiet and away from the crowds on 7 Mile Beach, yet only minutes from restaurants and beach. It was a comfort knowing Miss Judy was in the 3rd floor apt. in case we had any questions. She was wonderful but we rarely saw her. She works during the day and she has her own entrance and her own staircase at the garage end of the house.
Another reviewer mentioned hearing roosters in the mornings but we never heard anything. The house is so quiet and the bed so comfy, we slept in every morning. We were surprised we didn't see any mosquitoes or bugs of any kind. After living and traveling in the Caribbean for the past 35 yrs, we have always had bugs to contend with, but not here! All we saw were some cute little green baby iguanas and the mandatory Geckos that we also have in FL.
The kitchen is so well stocked, we could have cooked anything we wanted but we were only home for breakfast, then out exploring the rest of the day. The house is centrally located to drive wherever we wanted. It has WiFi so we checked out restaurant menus each day, to see what sounded good. We spent every day exploring this beautiful island and are sad to leave. We hope to return again with our kids & grand kids so we can fill this huge house next time. The pool here is also huge, twice the size of our pool in FL so our grand kids would love it! Time to pack up and get to the airport but look forward to returning. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall we had a fabulous stay. It was nice to have all the space especially with ten of us staying. The onsite caretaker was out of site out of mind. We enjoyed the privacy we felt we had. A few little things surprised me but didn't ruin our trip. I'm sure if we mentioned them they would have been addressed but we were too busy exploring the island to worry about details. Thanks for a great stay!

It pains me to break the 5-star streak for this lovely property. The villa itself is indeed great. Spacious and comfortable. There was just one major issue that impacted us personally. I am really surprised no other reviewer has mentioned this; perhaps we are unordinarily light sleepers. This issue is beyond the owner's control, but there are these wild chickens that run around the island. This neighborhood has an incredibly annoying Rooster, who starts crowing at 4:30 a.m. every morning. Yes, that is before the sun comes up, so so much for that fable. Said Rooster does not just crow at 4:30 to wake people up. He doesn't stop crowing, so there is no going back to sleep. No one wants to go on vacation to wake up at 4:30 every single day. Since no other reviewer has mentioned this, it may not impact everyone. But, it did us and I can't give 5 stars for a place from which I came home more tired from than I was before I left for vacation. The location was also challenging for us to get to diving in the mornings. I went off of google maps showing it was about 24 minutes from our dive shop. The problem is, google maps doesn't account for traffic and there is an extraordinary amount in the mornings of locals coming by the villa into George Town and Seven Mile. The 24 minute drive took us an hour in the morning and I nearly missed my dive. So, just plan accordingly if you are planning to dive while staying at this villa. In the morning, it is an hour to the Yacht Club. The villa could use a few minor upgrades: the kitchen could use some better knives (I could barely cut a pineapple) and a non-stick pan for eggs would be good; the only real TV is in the living room, but the cable is just a handful of channels (the TV in the Master is DVD only). But, for what you get in this place, the price is hard to beat on the island. We would not stay again, however, because of the Rooster and commute to diving, which is my primary purpose for coming to the island. I would definitely recommend the place for anyone for whom those two things are not a concern.
2.5 / 5.0
This was our first time staying in the Savannah Sound area and not on the beach. We decided to try another area of the island as we have stayed mostly in West Bay in the past. The house is awesome, plenty of room, huge living room area beautiful tile flooring et. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, they pretty much had anything and everything you would ever need to cook. The backyard is very nice, beautiful pool and hot tub. There is an outdoor charcoal grill that is covered which is nice if you want to cook something outside. All of the bedrooms were huge, the master suite has a large en-suite bathroom. You could be in the house with another family and not even know they were there so it would be a great place to bring other family members or friends for a get together and you still have plenty of space to have privacy if you want it. Ok so location... 1 mile from Spott's beach best snorkeling beach for turtle sightings I have ever seen. 2 minutes from the local Fosters supermarket, liquor store, hardware store so very convenient to shop. 15 minutes or so to Georgetown if you want to go there for shopping or dining. We do a lot of diving and all the dives were out of West Bay dock or the marina. That takes 1/2 hour to get to but honestly it wasn't a big deal, that's shorter than a work commute and it's a good way to check out the island anyway.. On the flip side, you're half way to Rum point so that's a lot closer. We all hated to leave it was a great place and I would highly recommend it. The only thing you need to be aware of (and it's on the listing, I somehow missed it) is that there is an on-site caretaker there on the 3rd floor and she comes in and out through the house. Having said that, we hardly saw her and it was a non-issue but nonetheless, something you need to be aware of.

We recently stayed for 10 days at this beautiful, luxurious home on Grand Cayman. It is truly in the heart of Cayman and has found a place in our hearts.
We stayed with 4 people (two adults and two teenage girls) and everyone had more than enough space. The rooms are huge, well appointed and all luxurious with everything you could ask for.
The kitchen was well stocked, with everything you would need to cook (which we did most nights).
The pool and hot tub were also another luxury which we really enjoyed having after a day out at the beach, or something to begin our days with.
The first thing we said when we walked through the doors upon our arrival was, "This house is EXACTLY like the pictures." There was not one thing that disappointed us in our time here with the house. The location is absolutely perfect, a 15 minute drive to George Town and 7 Mile Beach (which we frequented almost daily) but also central so we enjoyed short trips to Rum Point, the Blow Holes, and the Crystal Caves.
The property manager, Judy, was exceptional when we had questions or needed anything. The owners responded immediately to all questions, requests during the booking process and during our stay.
WHEN we return to Grand Cayman, we will, without a doubt, book this property. We have traveled to many places and booked homes through HomeAway, and this is our favourite by far.
Thank you for making our trip to Grand Caymans a truly enjoyable trip.

Luxurious, large home perfectly located to visit all the sites that Grand Cayman has to offer. Most everything on the Island was within a 30 minute drive as long as you avoid "rush hour". Great pool and spa (though heater was not working), grounds were beautiful, provided all the comforts of home.

We recently returned from a family vacation with seven adults. This house is beautifully appointed! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully-equipped, and there is more than enough room for everyone to spread out--it is truly a luxury home away from home. This home served as a wonderful base to explore the island. It is conveniently located, with easy access to Georgetown, Seven Mile Beach, and Rum Point. Grocery stores, liquor stores, and other amenities are within a few minutes. We had a fantastic time, and will certainly be back!
