Loved the hospitality

Wonderful experience. Good view and amazing food. Uncle Pradhan is very helpful and polite. He is the go to person for Cab, Itinerary and other local help in Darjeeling you may need during your trip. Homely feeling with full of hospitality.

Perfect

Location: Even though it was 10 minutes by shared jeep ride to Darjeeling town, the rides are frequent and cheap. The homestay is in a quiet spot and it has lovely views onto the town, hills and mountains. The hosts mr Rajesh and his wife are congenial, kind and helpful. The food is homely and hits the spot. The staff are very good.

Great stay with awesome view on the outskirts of Darjeeling

The place is well maintained, the room was very nice with big windows toward the view. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The location is a bit outside the main town. The taxi station (I used shared taxis) is right below the homestay, but it is a steep hike from the road to the homestay. It can get a bit noisy from the road.

Friendly place to stay with great views from my balcony. Any questions about the area or onward travels were efficently helped by the homestay owners.

The mattres was a little hard, but not too uncomfortable. I had to ask for a kettle so that I could make my own coffee rather than relying on buying it from the homestay - so in room kettle would be a great idea.

Overall it was good stay with nice ppl and good value for money

The view from the location was very beautiful but on the flip side reaching the property can be challenging. Its quite a steep climb.

The room size could have been a bigger. The deluxe rooms were very compact.

The breakfasts were good and the owners very jolly

The weather was cold and rooms felt damp despite the efforts of the owner providing electric blankets. The owners tried hard to make us feel welcome, but in hindsight we should have stay more in the centre of town.

I experienced the taste of Khanchendzonga with the flavour of setting sun & red rhododendron.

Location is excellent and food quality is very good. Blooming red rhododendron of this homestay has invited different kinds of birds which is excellent to watch. And what could bring more pleasure than clear view of Khanchendzonga with the rays of setting sun from this homestay.

Amazing hospitality with wonderful hosts in a beautiful location with brilliant facilities

Good sized room, amazing view, secure, private bathroom very clean. Heated blanket and kettle were brilliant additions. The home cooked food was incredible. Really good location to town. A bit out of the chaos but easy walk to the shuttle bus to the main part of town. The hospitality was unbeatable, I felt so safe and looked after here. Highly recommend for female travelling alone.

Sometimes the electricity cut out but that seemed to be a local problem.

Nothing as such, however there is a small climb steep road which can be pretty taxing for people with medical condition like heart issues

amazing stay, absolutely recommended

everything! the owners are the loveliest people we met! soooo helpful and welcoming, they helped us with transport and everything we needed and went out of their way to make everything work for us. the food is SO delicious, breakfast and dinner were amazing! the view with Kanchenjunga in front of you in the morning is amazing. just all in all a perfect experience and highly recommended!

Will go back again!

Breakfast was paid. not included in the room cost. Just normal Indian breakfast was served as per our request. Didnt see no irish breakfast. Food was freshly made. Good stuff.

Its in a good location. But no cab can really get there, so you will have to walk uphill to get to this property which is situated very well to enjoy a scenic view. But i guess thats how it works.

Into the Clouds

Probably the most beautiful location for a stay. Heard the Kanchenjunga is visible directly from here, unfortunately it was too cloudy during our visit. Clouds fly right into your room and views are amazing. You will feel right at home with Pradhan Family's warm hospitality.
