About this apartment rental
Simple, quiet and cozy in one of Oslo's best areas. The location is absolutely perfect and only 5 min walk to city center, Aker Brygge, Tjuvholmen, Karl Johan & all the dining, shopping, entertainment etc one can imagine.
The apartment is newly renovated and delicate and has all the equipment you can expect for. It also has Apple TV in both living room & master bedroom, office w / guest room equipment, much utensils, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc. I don't think you will miss anything here.

The apartment is located a few blocks away from the train station and our host met us there to welcome us to the apartment. Plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby. Short walk to the waterfront area of Oslo. The apartment is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was exactly what we were looking for on our few days visiting the city.

Enjoyed 3 days here. Bus stop and Metro really convenient. Tatiana met us at the metro stop and hand delivered us to the apartment! She explained how appliances worked which we greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. One thing for us ladies who use curling irons would be a mirror in the second bedroom where an outlet is located. As is the custom in Europe there usually isn’t an outlet in the bathroom. We would highly recommend this apartment .

This is a great location to walk the main sites and love that it was close to the national theater station - ideal for those traveling with luggage. Tatiana was not only pleasant but very accommodating. We were very grateful to have someone help us get into the apartment and show us some things that being from the states we wouldn’t have known or figured out on our own - like the dryer (water) needing to be emptied ! This is not a thing in the states. The toiletries and amenities were very nice & the place was clean !

We stayed as a family of 4. Our youngest is 5. They shared a bed in their own room and we had our own room. Full laundry is a great addition! Communication was super and we loved the location. Easy access to all transportation. Would recommend for small families or with 2 smaller children that are ok with bed sharing.

The apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The heated bathroom floors were delightful. Full kitchen was available although we took all meals in the many nearby restaurants. Laundry was very handy. Travelers from the airport by train should know to go towards Ibsen Gate. The wrong way in the station means a longer walk. Also some info about how to buy tickets for the trams/busses would be helpful. I would stay here again. Perfect week.

It would be good to add some more info about parking if you come by car. It can be very expensive and all signs are in Norwegian language. I had to pay 400Nkr/day in the outskirts of Oslo (40 min walk from the appartement). Centre will be even more.

We stayed twice in this apartment, and we really enjoyed our stays there. It was clean, safe, quiet, very comfortably furnished, well-located, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. I loved the convenience of the 20 minute wash cycle on the washing machine (unlike some European washers that take 3 hours!). Supermarkets, public transportation, restaurants, trash and recycling facilities, and the great areas of Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen are all conveniently close by. There are playgrounds and workout areas, small beaches and swimming areas in Tjuvholmen, and floating saunas in Aker Brygge. And Tatiana was wonderful. She made sure everything was well taken care of and she was always prompt, cheerful and helpful. Oslo is fun and interesting, and the apartment is a great base from which to explore and enjoy the city.

Nice central location to access restaurants and night life.
Apartment was great but they represent many units so pictures on VRBO do not necessarily match the unit you are assigned. I booked two apartments and was disappointed to learn they were completely different buildings, several blocks apart. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I couldn't think of any improvements to suggest. The parking spot I was assigned was brutal to get in and out of, but that is the reality of life in dense urban areas.

This was the perfect little home away from home in a great part of the city. It was comfortable, clean, and cozy, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was so sweet too, with a cute park right outside the front door, and plenty of restaurants and shopping down the block. If we’re back in Oslo, we’ll be staying here again. Thank you!

Tatiana was a GREAT hostess. She contacted me two days before our arrival. Gave me easy directions from the train station to the flat (including photos!). She was at the flat when we arrived and was so nice and accommodating. The flat was exactly as we expected (very comfortable and cozy) and in a great location (between the Royal palace and gardens and the harbor). So easy to walk all over the city. Tatiana stocked it with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, tea and cookies. She was so helpful and answered all our questions and also gave us great restaurant recommendations. I want to go back :)

Excellent apartment
Easy friendly check in at apartment . Already received comprehensive instructions for apartment and good directions from station . Very clean and well equipped . Easy to cook in kitchen . Beds very comfortable . Apple TV appreciated as all 3 of us could sit comfortably to watch a film on a cold snowy night !
Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again .

You enter the apartment via a courtyard, which is more of a utility area than a place to sit. Some windows face in towards the courtyard and some out to the street and so there isn't a lot of privacy. There is a park and a school right outside the apartment, and on the weekends there are lots of people going out at night walking by, and so we found it to be slightly noisy (less an issue if windows are closed). Overall it was a good experience.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is cozy and quiet, both bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable and ideally located
We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is cozy and quiet, both bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The location is perfect, within walking distance to grocery stores, excellent restaurants, tourist sites, the train station and the ferry. Matt, who handled our check-in and check-out, was extremely responsive and helpful. We couldn't have been happier and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for exploring
We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped and perfectly located property very much. Concerning cleanliness: The little rubish tray in the bathroom was not emptied and smelled a little bit. Otherwise the appartement including kitchen was very clean.

Comfortable apartment, Convenient Location
We felt at home in this apartment from the moment we stepped through the door. The living room is well furnished and a nice place to return to at the end of a day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom light and airy but with shades that kept out the summer light so that one could get a good night's rest. And yes, the apartment is quiet. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom with the added feature of a washing machine. It is obvious that the owner enjoys cooking. I believe every kitchen appliance and the equipment needed for making either a light meal or a feast was provided.
The apartment is within easy walking distance of the waterfront. Convenient to a bus line and two trolly lines.
We would definitely return to this apartment should we have the good fortune to visit Oslo again.

I've been to Oslo on two previous occasions and this location is fantastic. The apartment is very clean and check in was easy despite the fact that my flight was delayed.

Unfortunately, we arrived late by train and were unable to get the key from the owner at 10:45pm. Housekeeper was willing to leave the key at a gas station 15 min walk from the apartment. We had bags and traveling with my elderly mother and decided it sounded a little sketchy late at night. We were unable to get any compensation back. No idea what the place really looks like but be weary if you are dependent on the train. Disappointed in the lack of service to deliver a key to the door.

Perfect Location
We had a fantastic stay in Oslo. The apartment was convenient access to Theater Station and Aker Brygge. We even walked to the Royal Palace! There was multiple grocery stores near by as well. The apartment was cozy and fit the 3 of us perfectly. I can not thank you enough!

Comfortable, well--situated apartment
This apartment is in a good neighborhood, across from a small park, and within a few minutes' walk to the palace, grocery shops, the waterfront, and outlying neighborhoods. The National Theatre train station is about a 15-minute walk with bags; the main train station is about a half hour. The apartment is clean, comfortable, with great beds. It's also a bargain for the three of us staying in Oslo, which is a wonderful city.

Joli appartement propre, clair et lumineux parfaitement situé pour les excursions à travers Oslo. Près des commerces, de la gare et des trains en provenance de l'aéroport, à deux pas du Palais Royal et de l'avenue Karl Johann. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Jarle Magne mais il a été très rapide dans ses communications avec nous quoique l'arrivée fut un peu pénible parce que Jarle Magne et sa collègue ont eu du mal à saisir que nous n'avions pas de mobile mais tout le reste du séjour a été parfait! Merci Jarle Magne de votre hospitalité!
