About this house rental
Enjoy the comfort of this beautifully appointed 3 bedroom townhouse. The tranquil lake setting at your back door and the easy flat walk to Avoca Beach and shops means you have the best of both worlds. The ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning provides year round comfort. WiFi connected.
The 3 bedrooms are located on the upper level. The large master bedroom, overlooking the lake has a king bed and ensuite. It also has a television and DVD player. Bedrooms 2 & 3 have 2 single beds which can be configured to king ensembles if requested. The main bathroom includes a bath.
The lower level has a double lock up garage with internal access. On this level is the lake facing large living area with a huge L-shaped sofa and dining table to seat 8 people. There is the TV and DVD player along with board games for the times when you would like to relax inside. The kitchen has every appliance you could want including additional crockery and glassware for entertaining. There is a separate toilet and full laundry.
A covered outdoor entertaining area is perfect for BBQ's and relaxing. A BBQ and spare gas bottle are provided. A large in-ground pool in the complex is adjacent for your enjoyment. Take advantage of the owners double kayak for extra fun on the lake. All linen is provided and beds prepared for your arrival bring your beach towel and chill out.

Avoca Shores is a peaceful retreat on the Central Coast, only an hour's drive on the Newcastle Freeway north of Sydney.
Swimming, surfing, fishing at Avoca Beach (patrolled in Summer holidays) is just a stroll away. The rock pool is ideal for kids.
A la carte restaurants, alfresco cafes and the Avoca Beach Picture Theatre along with the Local Growers Market are some of the attractions of the area.
Tennis courts can be hired, and Aquafun has aquabikes, pedal cats, canoes, sailboats and surf skis to rent, all within a few minutes from your front door

Everything about our accommodation went like a dream! Just like advertised. Helpful contact with the property manager to facilitate our arrival. House location ideal for beach, tennis, nearby shops - all within walking distance. House is lovely and in pristine condition. Well equipped and comfortable furnishings. Gorgeous lagoon at the back and large play area for the children. Quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Beautifully landscaped. Couldn’t ask for more!

A lovely townhouse that had everything needed to make us feel like we were at home! The location was great - a short walk to the cafes, restaurants, shops, lagoon and beach. The best feature was the view out the back to the lake - watching the pelicans swim by! Excellent hosts, great communication, immaculately presented home. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday!

Avoca shores is a perfect place for a long weekend. Loved the outlook to the river at the back door, a quick dip in the property pool and a 5 min walk to the beach. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need. Looking forward to another stay.

Very pleasant house. Only problem we had was getting very tricky window locks open and remembering to take gate keys with us when we went out as the group of houses is gated. A remote opener would have helped! Otherwise it had all the mod cons you could ask for.

My family (2 adults and 2 young kids) stayed at Felicity's property for one month. We were visiting family in the area for Christmas and came all the way from Canada.
Everything about the property and process was amazing. It's the perfect property for a family - spacious, clean, well-appointed and easy walk to the beach. The view out the dining room doors to the lagoon is beautiful.
The check in process was easy and both Caroline (the property manager) and Felicity and her husband were reaponsive and kind.
We felt so comfortable and at home here that after a month we truly felt sad leaving - as if we were leaving our own home!
Avoca Beach has good amenities for a family, but Cole's is a quick drive away for larger grocery shops.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend Avoca Shores to anyone looking to stay on the Central Coast. We couldn't have asked for a better home for our visit.

Perfect location and very well set up house
We had a wonderful stay, the house and location were perfect. The lounge dining area could have been cleaned more thoroughly but we did request an early check in and the cleaner did seem a little rushed upon our arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay at your property . It was comfortable warm clean and in a fabulous location. Apart from a few hiccups when we arrived with the garage and the plumbing the apartment was everything we expected. It’s in a fabulous position on the shores of the lake and a short walk to the town and the beach . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

A quiet and restful week
The whole family loved their stay at Felicity’s property. The teens loved the freedom to explore the lagoon on kayak, and safely and easily wander to the beach and shops. We loved the peace of the lagoon but proximity to beach. The house has everything you would wish for to make the stay stress free. We hope to go back again as there is plenty more to explore in the area.

Avoca Beach haven - perfect family getaway
This property was perfect for our recent family getaway in Avoca. The townhouse is spacious and welcoming, with a prime location gives you the best of both worlds. The backyard is literally on the lake, and also an easy walk to nearby Avoca shops, cafes, and the beach. Felicity and her property manager were fantastic to deal with. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Close to beach, shops and parks-great for a family
We stayed for 6 nights at this property and it is well appointed and child safe (our kids are 3 and 1), even the stairs were no issue as they are carpeted. It has a lovely outlook, only 5 mins walk to the main shopping strip, and a 20 mins (at toddler pace!) walk down to the end of Avoca beach where there is a great playground and paddle pool that’s awesome for little ones. Also plenty of food options including fish and chips on the beach.
The beds were comfy, fittings and furnishings new and modern and plenty of space.
Also my father passed away in the week before we were supposed to go on our holiday and the owner was very understanding and allowed us to push our start date back a couple of days. Both the owner and property manager were also very responsive both before and during our stay.
