Best host and best place to stay on Koh Chang

Our host, Nui, was brilliant! Her and her two dogs made the place feel so homely and welcoming. Nui helped us decide what to do on the island and arranged transport for our departure, which was really helpful. Her Pad Thai was also amazing and so cheap! This place is hidden gem in a very peaceful location. It makes for a relaxing base to explore the island from (which we were able to do easily by renting motorbikes 2 min walk away).

Mémorable

Nui, notre hôte, a été d’une grande hospitalité; nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Le lieu est paisible entouré de verdure et des bruits des oiseaux. A la fois à proximité des plus belles plages de l’île, des cascades et des restaurants en scooter mais dans un lieu calme et peu fréquenté: parfait pour nous. Nous avons loué un scooter en face de l’arrivée en ferry à Koh Chang, il faut environ 10 min pour rejoindre le Montview. Nui a deux chiens adorables qui vont beaucoup nous manquer!! De plus, elle fait les meilleurs Pad Thai que nous avons eu l’occasion de goûter et il est possible de lui donner notre linge à laver pour 40 TBH/kg. Elle nous a également aidé pour tout ce qui était transports/tickets. Elle a aimablement proposé de garder nos sacs le temps que nous partions visiter Koh Kood pendant 2 jours. Le petit plus c’est le café et les bouteilles d’eau gratuites, super pratique. Cette semaine restera mémorable pour nous, Koh Chang est une île exceptionnelle, paradisiaque et séjourner au Montview a énormément participé à la réussite de ces vacances. Nous reviendrons dès que nous le pourrons, merci à notre hôte qui va nous manquer !!

Séjour très paisible et agréable grâce à une hote au top !

L’hôte est vraiment adorable et très attentionné envers ses invités. Elle nous amène en voiture à droite et gauche par gentillesse. Elle fait aussi des Pad Thai délicieux. Je recommande pour la tranquillité de l’endroit.

Le logement est « mal situé »… sans moyen de transport il est compliqué de se déplacer car les choses à faire son plus de l’autre côté de l’île. Heureusement que l’hôte fait son maximum pour qu’on ne le ressente pas. (N’ayez pas peur des chiens)

Séjour très agréable

Le lieu et à tranquillité de ce côté de l’île. Nous avons été très bien accueillie par l’hôte. Elle nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour. C’est une personne très gentille et nous avons passé d’agréables moments en sa compagnie Et le petit bonus: elle a deux chiens adorables.

Exceptional

This is a simple,cozy and clean place! I definetely recommend it to anybody who whants to stay away from the crowded, touristy areas like f.e. whitesand beach. If you get a motorbike its very easy to get around and nui, the host of this place, is just such a nice and welcoming person! She will help you with everything you need and is just so lovely, so is the rest of her family and her two dogs :) i felt at home at anytime and i would come back here anyday

Lovely host and nice room!

Our host was super friendly and she came to pick us up from the ferry pier since the taxi driver was asking an incredible high price. She arranged our boat tickets to Koh Kood for the next day as well. We were just passing through Koh Chang on our way to Koh Kood, but our host made this very comfortable for us. The room is comfortable and clean. And we loved her dogs! :)

Won't view anymore!

Worse than expected. 1 point out of 5: Room is small, view is absent because of wooden windows without glasses. Everything is old and used, but in brand new tape, for example photoframes from Ikea are still unpacked 0_o. Remote controller for A/C wasn't working and it was impossible to change the temperature, flow speed and swing. Floor is from steel, but covered by a very cheap linoleum with holes and badly cut. Shower holder doesn't flow into you, only to the left or right side because they hose twists in a such way. Lock on the door was NOT working. Mattress was bigger than it's cover and that's why bet-sheet was torn.

We have really enjoyed our stay in the MontView & east side of the island. Calm, authentic and clean. Owner was super helpful, took care about us like mother so we called her “our Thai mama” and was cooking delicious pad thai :) many thanks for everything
