Welcome to Palms Two! This large Southern style beach house is perfect for large families to gather only a block from the beach. The home lives large and sleeps at a total of 12 guests. Open living spaces inside and huge porches will make this a repeat destination for years to come.
The home features 5 total bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Downstairs you will find 3 out of the 5 bedrooms, including the master suite with king size bed and spa bathroom. The remaining downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom located in the hall. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a queen bed and full bath attached. Upstairs also features a bonus room, large game room with foosball, air hockey, and TV to keep everyone entertained on the rare rainy day on Folly Beach. Game room includes two sleeper sofas with full beds.
Amenities include free WIFI, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The outdoor living area has outdoor dining area and gas grill on the back of the house as well huge porch on the front of the house with rocking chairs. Kitchen comes fully stocked with all of the gadgets and tools even the most discerning family chef would require. Basic cable only.
The home is a short walk to the beach and only 13 miles away from historic downtown Charleston. We do not rent to party groups and require a minimum age of 25 to rent. No smoking. Enjoyed our location on Folly Beach about a mile down from the busy shopping area. House was an easy walk to the beach and area was quiet.

House is very spacious and comfortable. Great location with easy access to the beach and far enough from town to be quieter.
I suggest leaving some beach towels for guests use and a beach chair or two as we had nothing for the first day.
Overall the place was very enjoyable and the price reasonable. We will book again.

The house was comfortable and clean. It was very close to beach access. The only problem was the air hockey table doesn’t work and the jets on the tub didn’t work, but it didn’t really affect our stay. We enjoyed the oroperty

WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE! I HAD MY WHOLE FAMILY HERE TO ATTEND A COUSINS WEDDING. THE HOUSE WAS AMAZING, AND IT WAS FULL AND COMPLETE WITH EVERYTHING NEEDED. CAROLINAONE IS A GREAT HOST AND WE WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES AGAIN!

The house was nice. Drone picture should be updated. Loved the chair rental was included. Really needs new mattresses and deep sheets. Loved two refrigerators. One for drinks and one for food.

We were able to take advantage of a golf cart rental and the beach gear credit. We live nearby but this was a great little spot to get away for a weekend.

I have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. I do a lot of research before I make my final selection. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match.
This trip was a multifamily school vacation trip with 4 young children. We used the credit to get bikes. It was a short walk to the ocean. The kids rode to the beach and ON the beach all day. The kitchen was big enough for several adults to cook. All the utensils were there. Read the reviews. It always amazes me when reviewers complain about chipped plates. For those of you who cannot use a chipped dish bring paper plates. What can be more perfect then to get up, have a cup of coffee as the sun comes up and then walk to the beach? We love Jolly Beach and Charleston. Everyone wants to go back.

The house was very clean and the front steps offered an amazing photo backdrop. Lots of room and we loved playing air hockey in the gameroom. My only complaint is that there were only like 2 channels we could watch on tv.

The house was fine but it rained for 2 days during the Christmas break and the streets flooded near the house. This made it difficult to walk to the beach. Folly Beach really needs to address drainage and street flooding. I’m not sure we will be returning to Folly Beach because of this problem.

The house was very nice —had ample room for all our guests. Both porches were utilized every day and we appreciated having the large outdoor shower and area underneath the house. Very short walking distant to the beach and loved the proximity to the downtown area of Folly. Loved we were given the beach rental credit to use —our girls loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The weather was perfect too!

Nice big clean beach house
We had 10 people (4 parents, 6 teens). Check in was easy. Everything in the home is as in the pictures. The decor was nice with the crown molding and high ceilings, spacious, & we really enjoyed the concrete slab under the house & outdoor shower. The house has 2 fridges in the kitchen & ice trays in the main fridge. There is an over abundance of cover filters & salt and pepper. There was a starter set of dish and dishwasher soap and bars of soap in the bathrooms. The house had some books and games as well. We did use the $250 beach gear credit & rented 6 chairs, an umbrella, and 2 bikes. The couch needs to be replaced. It has a short back and deep seat cushions making it hard to be comfortable. We did have some minor annoyances that required communication from the property manager. The grass in the front was very long up to our ankles. We were intending to play yard games there. I let the property manager know & it didn’t get cut until Fri of our stay. When we rent houses, we look for homes that have air hockey tables, etc. Upon our arrival, the air for the air hockey table was not blowing forcefully to play the game. Also looking at the foosball table, the members in our group noted the bars were installed incorrectly. Unfortunately, we were unable to use these features. I did text the property manager & they said they told the owners, but it would not be taken care of during our stay. This needs to be noted in the listing for future renters. We also noted that there were only 4 regular size (not soup) spoons. I texted the property manager and they dropped off more soup spoons and not the smaller ones. They didn't reply when I shared pictures of this. The bed frames were installed incorrectly & we kept bumping our shins on the plate that connects to a headboard. The property manager replied to my text and they changed all the bed frames. The last thing we noticed on Wed of our stay was the water building up on the glass shelves of the main fridge. We kept noticing water but this time we saw it dripping. Again I texted the property manager with pictures on Wed & never heard back from them. Up until this point they had been responsive via text. The molding and doors need paint touch ups & laminate on cabinet doors is peeling. This town does not have sidewalks outside of downtown. It's busy on weekends with delays getting over bridge but quite otherwise weekdays . You have to walk in the street for beach but is 5 min walk

The house itself was a little dirty (feet and socks turning brown in minutes) and we had a couple of issues when we were staying that were not addressed by the rental company at all after multiple calls and an email. The smoke detector kept fully going off with no explanation and the ice maker was broken. We tried multiple times to report the issues and were assured that someone would come take a look at them and no one ever got in touch with us or checked on these items. Having a loud alarm go off especially at night was very annoying. Plus most of the beds at the house were absolute garbage, they should have been replaced years ago. It really impacts your ability to relax on a vacation when you can't sleep for an entire week due to the horrible beds (this was the case for people staying in 3 of the 5 rooms including the master bed). We will not be staying in this house again or renting a property with the same company.

Great Get away!
We had an amazing the Palms II! The house was big and the location was perfect for beach days at Folly Beach, just a short walk away. The house was a little hot when we arrived, but quickly cooled down when we arrived.

Fun at Folly
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach. The house was plenty big enough for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the game room upstairs and we had porch time at least once a day. The only issues we had were a shower door that was fixed by maintenance (thank you) and the upstairs air condition went out. This made for a very hot upstairs for a short time, but this was fixed and the air was restored. (Thank you!)

I must say the pictures did no justice. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the home. It was spacious, clean and had plenty of parking in the rear. I ordered beach chairs with the credit and they were already there when I arrived. Also that downstairs area was amazing. we had steamed crabs and with the picnic table under the house it made for a great outside eating station. Two thumbs up!

Palms 2 is wonderful
Family and I stayed at Palms 2 for a family reunion and had a great time. Kitchen is one of few that is spacious and fully functional, the little ones enjoyed the game room upstairs. The under house area and decks are great for time outdoors, lots of yard space for playing and parking, we used the grill and outdoor furniture daily. Tha outdoor shower area is great for rinsing off after time on the sand and cleaning up all your beach stuff, keeping sand out of our car. We all love the house and love Folly Beach. Memories will last forever, definately recommend.
