Die Lage war sehr gut, die Ausstattung des Zimmers neu und modern sowie ein sehr bequemes Bett.
Die Schiebetüren im Badezimmer konnten nicht geschlossen werden! Durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof hörte man bei geöffneten Fenstern die Züge sehr laut.

Location was 11 out of 10. I loved the way the room was decorated.
We had mountain Titlis made of dust under our bed, it was so bad, I would wake up with stuffy nose. The pillows were awful. Inconsistencies when the little coffee bar was filled in - sometimes no stirrers, only one pack of sugar and etc. On 13th of Feb the young blond lady downstairs at the brasserie - I found her rather rude!

Sehr modernes Hotel in altem Haus. Hat mir gut gefallen. Moderne (dunkel) Einrichtung. Gutes Bett. Ein schönes Bad ist auch dabei. Das sehr gute Frühstück ist in einem anderen Haus, keine 100 Meter entfernt.
Alternativ - wenn man kein Frühstück gebucht hat - kann man im Haus in einem schönen Caffè auf Selbstkostenbasis frühstücken. Wer also nur ein Caffè braucht ....
Ich habe keinerlei Heizmöglichkeit im Bad gefunden. Das Zimmer hatte im Januar auf 16 Grad. Zum Schlafen okay für mich. Die Klimaanlage bekommt das zwar gewärmt aber im Bad waren die Fliesen mehr als kalt. Seltsame Ausstattung.
Zum Frühstücken muss man das Haus verlassen.

Das Hotel Josef ist vom Zürcher Hauptbahnhof aus in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Frauen im Hotel Montana um die Ecke, wo man Frühstück einnehmen kann, waren stets zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Bei der Ankunft war es unklar, wie man einchecken kann. Die Begrüßungsmail mit entsprechenden Informationen erreichte mich mit zwei Tagen Verspätung. Das desinteressierte Personal in der unten im Hotel befindlichen Bar zeigte sich wenig hilfsbereit. Die Quittung fiel aus dem Drucker des self-service check-in auf dem Boden. Es ist frustrierend, in einem Hotel so wenig Entgegenkommen zu spüren. Da erwarte ich besseren Service. Im Zimmer funktionierte die Heizung nicht; für Januar war es definitiv zu kalt ohne Heizung. Am Duschkopf fehlte eine Feststellschraube. Meine entsprechenden Bitten um Abhilfe hätte ich ins Nichts adressieren können. Es passierte einfach nichts.

Ich war schon öfters im Hotel. Das Zimmer 12 hatte ich das erste mal und es ist so klein, dass man nicht arbeiten kann. Bisher hatte ich immer geräumige Zimmer. Es gibt somit sehr große Unterschiede. Beim Zimmer 12 passt deshalb auch Preis Leistung nicht

Definitely not a boutique hotel!
Walls are dirty, room is tiny, lighting is terrible and there is no reception or staff that can be reached.
There is no minibar and there is a telephone in the room with which you can’t call reception with.
Housekeeping enters the room early morning without even knocking the door.
The bathroom sliding door only closes half way.
Luggage room is open to everyone with zero security.

La habitacion era muy comoda y grande, esta en muy buena ubicacion que te permite moverte muy facil en todo Zurich.
Tuve problemas al momento de ingresar, no tenia el numero de confirmación “correcto” entonces no pude hacer el self check in.

Location very close to the main railway station. Very quiet neighbourhood. Room small but had all the facilities. Good value for money in Zurich.
We arrived late and had to complete checkin on a terminal. Had to phone to get access code to the hotel. Had to phone to stop being charged twice.

I chose this hotel only because I was too tired to move further that day and its location close to the train station.
It’s the most weird and annoying hotel experience since I used Booking’s service. It’s unprofessional hotel with weak credibility acc to my case as below:
I was given a room #22 at around 16:30, Jan.08 after self checkin. When I arrived in front of the room, I found that it’s door was already open!
Then I walked into the room, I found that the bed was wrinkled and messy which seemed obviously not new made up room ( in other words: somebody touched or even used the room before I came in). Then I asked them for explanation, the receptionist who instructed me to do checkin told me it wasn’t her responsibility to handle it and I had to wait somebody else to come to look into it. After a long waiting, a man and a woman arrived from outside of the building who were said that they were her colleagues.They simply apologized and told me they couldn’t change it for me in this hotel , if I insisted on it, I needed go to another hotel (they said that they got 3 hotels) where is about at least 5mins walk. It’s nearly at 17:00, cold and dark, and I told them that I was very tired with 3 luggages after a long voyage from Budapest, one of my biggest case was broken, that’s why I chose their hotel by distance.They (The man indeed)told me it’s okay to change hotel if I insisted ( at this moment, they didn’t mention that they will charge me anyway!!!). With their oral agreement, I booked another room through Booking around 17:15 while I went to the room for fetching my luggages. When I was going to come down to the lobby and went out, the woman (who arrived with the man) came to propose me another room which is said no need to long walk. And I told her why you didn’t propose me before. Only at this moment, she alerted me that they or Booking would charge me for that!!! Things went to disgusting but it’s too late to change again. Finally I left their hotel anyway by a taxi ( I even caught cold while waiting for the taxi).
This hotel refused to answer my messages and to refund me!!!!!

Výborné ubytování blízko hlavního nádraží. Na pokoji byl k dispozici kávovar, lednice a kuchyňský koutek. I přesto, že je hotel blízko hlavního nádraží, byl na pokoji naprostý klid. Pokoj disponuje zatemňovacími závěsy a tak se i ráno spalo do růžova. Velmi pohodlné postele.
Postrádal jsem možnost dokoupení snídaně, ale obchod s potravinami byl cca 100m od hotelu.

Loved the location - always felt safe walking to station, trams, shops etc. The Deluxe Studio was very spacious.
I expected with a “kitchenette” (in the Deluxe Studio), there would have been more than a sink & fridge. There were no plates, no cutlery, no electric kettle (coffee maker hot water is not really hot enough for a cup of tea). A small microwave would be great. I did adapt though and really enjoyed my stay.

All. The room was great, we got a corner room, and the view was very good, facing the street leading to the station. Bed was on the stiff mode, which i like alot.
Near Coop a groceries. Just next to the station, actually you can walkby the platform and than just cross the road to get to the hotel.
Very nice interior, in greenish, black and white.
I like the coffe machine nespresso with 6 capsules…

L'ambiente Dell' hotel è accogliente, la terrazza molto bella e soleggiata, peccato non si possa sfruttare ne la sera ne la mattina per un caffè. Posizione ottima per raggiungere qualsiasi punto della città. I treni non si sentono nonostante vicino la stazione. I letti molto buoni, buoni anche i prodotti forniti in bagno, non il solito kit ma dispenser attaccati al muro. In particolare scelto per la macchina del caffè in camera, non facendo colazione! Ma il frigo bar? Almeno per mettere un acqua al fresco.
Ottimo il self check in.
Ci è stato detto che la terrazza sarebbe stata chiusa dalle 20 alle 4, strano, comunque la mattina dalle 8/fino alle 11 che siamo partiti era ancora chiusa. Purtroppo ragnatele ovunque e il pavimento con polvere di più di una settimana! essendo un hotel business o comunque di passaggio si tende a portarsi il minimo in borsa, quindi sarebbe comodo trovare delle ciabatte usa e getta, motivo in più se si trova il pavimento sporco. Mancanza del Frigo bar?! Se siete alti cercate di non prendere la camera al quarto piano!!

Wir hatten das Grand room Zimmer gebucht. Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Sitzecke und einem sehr bequemen Bett. Wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, hört man von den Zügen nichts.
Die Lage, fast direkt am Hauptbahnhof, ist super.
Der Self-Check-In funktioniert ganz einfach und findet im Cafe il baretto statt.
Das Boutique Hotel Josef ist auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert, man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort, es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und einfach gemütlich. Im Cafe il baretto kann man gemütlich Kaffee trinken und es gibt auch mega leckere Croissants, das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Dieses Mal war das Zimmer leider nicht sehr sauber, alles war eingestaubt, das Bett war zum Glück sehr sauber.
Kaffee war ausreichend da aber leider nur 2 × Milch, 2× Zucker und 2 Pappbecher, das reicht nur für ein mal Kaffee für 2 Personen. Im Cafe il baretto bekamen wir dann Zucker und Milch.
Ich hätte auch gerne wieder ein Zimmer mit Balkon gehabt, jedoch hat es dieses Mal keines bei Buchung angezeigt, jedoch waren augenscheinlich noch welche frei.
