Secluded sanctuary with private plunge pool

We loved how close we were to the beach to take long walks

That we couldn't swim in the beach infront of the accommodation because of fear of being stung

Relaxing stay in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Great location for exploring the region. Very quiet and peaceful - enjoyed relaxing. Bungalow well equipped and the welcome breakfast pack was much appreciated.

There are a lot of mosquitoes - make sure you’re fully sprayed with repellent BEFORE getting out of your car !

Absolute relaxation

Absolutely beautiful Bungalow, gorgeous setting right on beach, fabulous deck with a variety of seating options. The best beach ever, particularly for walking. A very relaxing five-day break. Breakfast hamper was excellent, generous quality supplies. Wonderful spacious bathroom with luxurious towels and toiletries. Excellent WIFI.

Cooking was limited with lack of BBQ tools, (which were supplied on request) and no container to use in the microwave, which we purchased. This was an issue as there is nowhere decent to eat in Mission Beach. The positioning of the BBQ made it difficult to access. The split system had no heating component so it was freezing, particularly on the 12C morning. No laundry facilities, which was annoying for a longer stay, but understandable in an off the grid property. We would have loved the pool to have been heated so we could use it.

Disappointed…..we booked for 3 nights and left after 2

The location is fantastic, secluded, private & romantic

Lack of kitchen facilities, bbq provided (only way to cook) needs a good clean. Pool was dirty (bad weather prevented us from using anyway)

Beautiful bungalow worthy of a stay if you can afford it and need a stay in Mission Beach área.

Beautiful bungalow just steps to the beach. Well crafted layout. Very clean with very small kitchenette. Fan above bed was nice.

Off season there are very few restaurants open so walking to one opus not really an option. Strongly suggest a car if you go off season. The location is great, next to beach, but know you are a bit isolated.

Totally sublime 😊

The Bungalows are the perfect place to escape and reconnect. My husband and I had an idyllic overnight stay here. Just us chatting, laughing and reminiscing with a lovely cheese platter, a couple of beautiful bottles of champagne in our very own, totally private plunge pool.

We loved it all.

Incredible

The location was beautiful. Each bungalow is right next to the beach and we could see dunk island from inside the bungalow. It was extremely private and we enjoyed having our own private pool. The staff were really nice and helpful too. They provided us with food to make breakfast and then we drove into Mission Beach everyday for dinner which wasn’t very far at all. It was the best holiday we have had and would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful location, beach at front door, peaceful, close proximity to walking tracks and waterfalls, excellent place to stay, was not bothered by guests in other bungalows, great privacy

What a fabulous place the bungalows are. The sound of the waves was so relaxing and the plunge pool.

The breakfast items were perfect. Yoghurts, muesli, toast and eggs.

Friendly and helpful staff, ?Lance, welcomed me and helped transport my luggage even on his day off. Delicious and generous selection of breakfast foods included. Private plunge pool was just so welcome. Close proximity to the beach with beach view.

Car was parked a short distance from the bungalow, Lance very kindly transported my heavy luggage.

Very peaceful and relaxing, excellent location, short drive to local restaurants.

Nice touch having basic breakfast items left for us. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent position, very quiet with no hustle and bustle.

Perfect location. Lovely views. Very relaxed. Bonus was the previously unknown individual plunge pool. Not that we used it as it was cold. But must be a life saver in Queensland warmer weather. Not that it was an issue for us the isolation could be a problem. Recommend taking in supplies.

Exceptional seclusion

Everything!!!!! The Bungalows are exceptional .. from the amazing view when you enter your bungalow to the complimentary wine and beer in the fridge. Breakfast is also complimentary. There are eggs, bread, condiments, milk, fruit and Brookfarm Meusli. Everything is quality and it is extremely clean. There are only three bungalows so it is very secluded and quiet. The caretaker, Andrew, lives on-site and is very nice and interesting to chat to. Next time, I will stay for at least a week. Also, each bungalow has its own plunge pool. I loved it all. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

The walk to Bungalow 1 in the dark after dinner. There is a torch in the bungalow but I forgot to take it with me.

Very clean rooms with everything you needed. Great shared space. Right on the beach and easy walk or bike ride on a beautiful bush track to nearby takeaway. We absolutely loved it.

Areas away from the seabreeze had lots of mosquitoes. The bikes brakes needed some attention.

Gorgeous tranquility in the quiet South Mission Beach

I loved the villa, and we had a plunge pool. We also used the main pool at the Bungalows communal lounge and kitchen. I had not realised at the time I booked that it was self catering, but there were ample breakfast provisions of a high quality. Everything was very clean, and very private. The bungalows are absolute beachfront, and look out to Dunk Island.

I felt $400 was a smidge high for an overnight stay, but if you're looking for privacy and a place to completely I wind then it is absolutely worth it. I saw the price vary for a one night stay considerably as I neared the date of my stay ($160 lower, but in a room without its own plunge pool).
