Great home for all ages. Kids loved the bunk bedroom, and adults enjoyed the hot tub after kids were in bed. The location was excellent with so many things to do. Highly recommend.

Cozy cottage with plenty of room and amenities for 11 of us. (4 adults and 7 kids age 9-17) We ski'd at Loveland. Kitchen well stocked. Nice beds and bedding. Very clean. Upstairs bathroom amazing. Georgetown is a simple, cute town

Everything else was more than expected. The house was well stocked with wash towels, pillows, just about every kitchen utensil you can think of, very nice Frig, X-Finity TV, fireplace, hot tub, grill, etc. Enough beds to sleep several people, and parking for 4 vehicles. Ice melt, which came in handy as it snowed while we were there. 4 different bathrooms. Also spoke with I believe the owners about a last minute addition we needed and they were very corgial, and helped us with anything we needed. Staying here and riding the Christmas Georgetown Loop was a present to our kids and grand kids and we all had a great experience.

Loved this house, it’s history and location. Traveled with two of our daughters and their families for a huge family wedding in Idaho Springs. Loved that each family had its own bath and privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all our meals. Would highly recommended this home for a true experience of the 1800’s.

This was such a cute mountain home. We really liked the location. The house is definitely older, but it was clean and nice. Having a hot tub was definitely a nice bonus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and just a welcoming feeling. Hot tub was great after skiing at Loveland. With all the spices, condiments, pantry food, coffee, wine, beer and chocolates it was like the owners just stepped out and let us in. Beautiful old historic home with so much character. Thought it would be drafty but very warm. We will be back. The MacNaughton family

A group of 6 friends stayed here for the weekend. The house is beautiful! We were concerned that an older house might be a bit drafty in the winter, but we were warm and cozy the whole weekend. The wood burning fireplace was a very nice feature. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfortable with memory foam mattresses. And the hot tub was perfect! Our only regret is that it wasn’t warm enough to be able to enjoy the large front porch and other outdoor areas. We may have to come back in warmer weather.

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The kitchen was a good size and well stocked with more than enough cookware and serve ware. We loved the living area with the large wood burning fireplace. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful! We were all very happy to find that this home was very well insulated. Our trip was on a very cold winter weekend, and yet this beautiful old house was warm and cozy. We’d love to stay here again in the warmer weather, so we can enjoy the large, inviting porch.

Great house in Georgetown!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Georgetown! The house was spacious and beautifully outfitted. The living areas were comfy, and I especially appreciated the heated floors! The kitchen was very well stocked, and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. The town is how I remembered it, and we loved the shops, and restaurants. Every aspect of the home was in good order, and we hope to return very soon. Thank you!

Our week in Georgetown
This place is awesome! There was plenty of room and plenty of beds. The hot tub was a major plus, even though we didn't see any sheep. I would highly recommend this house for your next vacation.
The only issue to be aware of is the handicap access, There isn't any. We made it work but it was difficult at times.

Enjoyed our stay.
Location is perfect if you are going to explore west or east. Kids loved exploring in the yard and back up the hill. Hot tub was a nice addition. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and pans as we cooked most meals there. The front porch was perfect.
Loved everything about the house except for the upstairs bedrooms were too hot to sleep. By morning it was cool but that was too late. We stayed during August. We had to have everyone sleep on the first floor. Luckily there were enough beds.

Amazing Location!
The propert is sitting just up the hill from Georgetown which has a lot of history and charming businesses to visit. Up the road is the Georgetown loop train and Guanella Pass scenic by way. There is so much to do and see in this area and other small mountain towns within 30 min. Steve and Ginny, the owners of this property were very accommodating and helpful with everything we needed. The house was amazing and my family enjoyed it very much, it was very warm and inviting. The home also was very well stocked for vacation needs. We also saw mountain goats right up the mountain from the back yard. We look forward to renting this property again we had a great vacation.

Great Mountain Experience!
We enjoyed staying at this property because it was right in the middle of everything we were doing in the mountains! We also loved that we could see the Georgetown Mountain goat herd from our back porch! Everything was as described and it was great they had so many miscellaneous items to use in the kitchen. Thanks for the great experience!

Enjoyed our stay
The property was great. Cozy and clean.
The kitchen was well appointed. I was a little worried about noise from the interstate but it wasn’t an issue.
We really enjoyed the deer that seemed to always be in the yard.

Amazing historic house with all the modern conveniences
We have stayed in several rental homes in Georgetown, they have all been great; but, this one might have been the best. The house was spotless and the communication with the hosts was great. The house has historic charm (built in the 1800s), but has been tastefully updated with a modern kitchen with heated floors and a spa-like master bath (also with heated floors). The hosts have thought of everything. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook and serve any meal. There are plenty of high quality towels in the bathrooms--two plush robes in the master bath. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully laid out including a bunk room with 6 bunk beds and a twin and its own bathroom. There are also three other large bedrooms with nice linens. There is a great front porch and a great back deck. Overall a top-notch experience. We'll definitely be back.

Winter Wonderland
We absolutely loved it there! We are from Texas and to see all the snow was amazing. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked dinner and enjoyed the front porch and even saw deer? goats? on the mountain side behind the house. We enjoyed movies with the kids on the huge sectional! Lots of space for everyone. We will be back

Perfect getaway
This property was perfect for our family coming from AZ and WI. The bunk room is my favorite part. Perfect quaint house with which we spent most of our time on the front deck and the kids ran around the yard. The house is very close to the very popular train so there was traffic during those embark/departure times. Was also walking distance to the downtown area. House was equipped with everything you could need! Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay in Georgetown
My sisters and I rented this house for a week. We found the house to be really clean and charming. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and it is a 5 min walk into town where you can get coffee or a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. The only (minor) downside is that the house sits just below the highway. You can hear the traffic, however, you can also hear the river below the house. It’s easy to pretend you are only hearing the river flow by!
