Plenty of space for 6 people to stay without tripping over each other. Room for eating meals together inside or on the porch. Close to shops, restaurants, and ice cream for biking.

Property was eclectic but great location! Sheets and towels were left for us even though we brought our own. Plenty of space for everyone and the screened porch was perfect for late night chilling!

Reviewer Comments:
We had a great weekend stay at this home. The king bedroom with attached room was perfect for our infant as well as having a twin bedroom right next-door for our toddler. One small TV and very limited seating in the living room would’ve made a weeklong stay difficult, but it didn’t impact our short few days too much; the WiFi was very strong we easily used the iPad! Bathrooms were clean and spacious but adding blinds to the master bath for privacy would be a great upgrade, as well as functioning blinds in the master bedroom. The porch and deck were a great feature, there is so much space on the main floor for a large group to spread out! I would recommend this booking to others!

Reviewer Comments:
The house is fun--1/2 from the early 20th century (though updated) and 1/2 from the late 20th century, with a new screen porch & decks. The master suite has a small attached bedroom with a twin for parents with a younger one that they want nearby. There are really 3 bedrooms, and the middle one (literally) connects the hall to the master suite to the landing for the other larger bedroom and features a twin-sized low bed (a little tough on my aged bones), but also the 1/2 bath within it (and doors on either side for privacy). I must mention the kitchen which is VERY well equipped with all the tools and pots and pans you would need if you like to cook, plus an island for prep work. The gas stove does (as warned) run hot--I made a sauce with meatballs and had to move it to a small burner to keep from burning it--so be aware. The gas grill was fine and used to great effect by our grill-master, including for the rockfish we picked up at a local seafood shop. We are all naturalists, so spent the week chasing wildlife and getting great looks and photos of some migrants and rarities. Our fisherman was very pleased with the dock fishing right in town. Could not have been a much better week.

Our teens loved this place. Just a short bike ride out to the ice cream shops and shopping. The house layout worked well for our group of 2 adults and 5 teens. We had the bedroom over the kitchen and the teens had the bedrooms in the other half of the house. The boys said having the attic bedroom was great! We enjoyed using the screened in porch too.

Great location and easy access to Maddox Blvd. Loved the space in the house. Just a few things not working, sweepers and garbage disposal; but overall a great place to stay.

My teens all loved the quirky layout of the house. It was a good fit for 7people. We all had enough space but two rooms had limited privacy. It was fine with us but some people might have issues with it. For the price we were happy to work around it. Everything was clean and the one little problem we had was addressed quickly.

This house is big, spacious, and quirky, making it a really fun place to stay. We love the outdoor shower and the screened in porch. We also love discovering little corners of the house, including the closet with the octagonal window, the two stained glass windows, and the small narrow staircase to the attic. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. We definitely hope to return next year!

Roomy home
This house was cut kind of strange but it was definitely a nice home! It didn’t have that musky wet smell like some of the homes in Chincoteague. This house is listed for 7 people but can accommodate way more so if you have 7 single friends/family that don’t want to share beds you can still stay here! The master has a smaller room connected to it with a small cot and extra twin mattress so it’s great if some of your party has a small family! I have a 14 month old so I really loved that this house had a restaurant high chair I thought it was so cute! The yard is huge and my little one loves running around in it, there are grapes, mini peaches and I think a crabapple tree in the back. The garage was locked and we couldn’t find the grill but had no problems with Harbour Rentals coming out and doing what they needed to do to make it right for us! The location is very convenient, I’d stay here again next time!
