The Driftwood is a gorgeous home that lives up to its spectacular location on a cliff above Bella Beach, a dynamic, pristine section of coastline framed by Cascade Head and Boiler Bay south of Lincoln City. You enter the home to a serene foyer leading to a suite of bedrooms on the ground floor, each one painted in shimmering cool sea-glass greens, blues or greys, with premium mattresses and bedding, high ceilings and solid construction promising sound, rejuvenating sleep. Two king suites include beautifully appointed bathrooms with walk-in showers; one opens to a covered porch with a hot tub overlooking the sea. This is a beautiful home that looks just like the photos. Gorgeous views and easy access to a wide-open beach. The home is very well laid-out for a large group, with plenty of room for cooking, eating and socializing together, but still with room for individuals and smaller groups to find quiet spots. Beds are comfortable, rooms are well-insulated so it's quiet, and with a few small exceptions, everything seemed to be well-maintained and stocked.

I traveled to the coast with 6 girls for a weekend away. The house has such a beautiful view and is conveniently located in between Lincoln City and Depot Bay. The kitchen had anything you could ever need to cook. The hot tub was great with a view of the stars on a clear night. Bedding and linens top notch. Would stay here again anytime. Great Value

Everyone in our group commented on how much they loved the house. It was so bright and airy, with spectacular 3-sided views of the ocean and great acoustics for listening to the sea at night. It was very well stocked for cooking our own meals, with the only items lacking being a tea kettle, tinfoil and a broom. It was a wide array of appliances, spices and seasonings, baking dishes, plates and silverware. The only downside to the kitchen on the second floor was the difficulty of hauling food/supplies up the stairs. For that reason it is also not very easy for people with disabilities to reach the main floor. This is made clear in the description, so it is not the fault of the vacation home, simply something to be aware of as you consider this property. Another thing to be aware of is that the oven does not get very hot and it took much longer than normal to cook food. But again, everyone in our group, loved this house, and I would absolutely book it again for a large group. I should also mention that the games, puzzles, books and movie collection was immense, and I wished we had more time to enjoy it all! Our group ranged in age from 4 to 72, and it was a great house for every demographic except handicapped.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was everything we wanted and more. Very well stocked kitchen, though we never located a pitcher, but we improvised. Plenty of beds. Had an unexpected media room, but the cable wasn't hooked up and neither was the DVD player, so we just used it as another bedroom since it had a sleeper.
We received a text about noise level after 10pm around the fire pit, there wasn't one so that was no issue.
Beach access is jus a block or two.

The home was so lovely. Very accommodating for a large family. Easy access to the beach. Views were breathtaking. You could fall asleep listening to the waves from each room. Our bed was extremely comfortable. This is a great find and we so enjoyed ourselves.

The house was well suited for our stay.
Overall a positive experience. As one other review noted, and was important for one family member, there is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main living level, which is one flight up from the entrance. All other bedrooms are on the lower level. The house is newer construction so we were surprised the living room and primary suite, both of which face the ocean, had such small windows facing the water. The gas fireplace was great in December. We would recommend the home to others.

Great house for a reunion
We had 16 friends stay here for a reunion and the house was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably and fit at the dining room table. The pictures are accurate: it's right on the ocean with beautiful views. Beach is accessible via steps a couple of houses up the road. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner. Would definitely recommend for a large group

Family beach gathering
A great space for our family meet up from four states to celebrate a 70th birthday. Beautifully appointed and clean, close to the beach on dry days, comfy inside on wet days. Our 8 adults and 6 kiddos had a blast. Kitchen was spacious and had most of our cooking needs and a few handy staples. Plenty of linens! Management was easily contacted and responsive if we needed anything. We left with a return trip in mind for the future!

Beautiful and a few fixes.
This house is gorgeous and the beds were so clean. Everything about this was spectacular except when it came time to wash dishes. The dishwasher was full of mold and did not work. I let them know and hopefully the next renter will have a new one. The bbq also did not work. Other than those two things the location is stunning. The beds were super comfy and clean. All in all it was pretty great. Fit the needs of our group also.

Good location, views, spacious modern home
Pros: Simple check in process, good location with beach views, good beach access, spacious, comfortable beds. Great rear decks on two levels; one with a hot tub facing the ocean. Nice bathrooms. Also, kitchen was nicely stocked with basic staples like coffee filters, cooking oil, spices, sugar, etc. Cons: Has some M&R and cleaning issues - dishwasher needs to be cleaned as the filters are clogged and moldy; wasn't cleaning dishes and also when we arrived there were straight up dirty dishes put away in the cupboards that we had to re-wash. Also, gas grill is in poor condition - electric starter doesn't work and the burner dials don't adjust the flame at all. Was also not cleaned; old paper towels had been left behind stuffed in the grill. Grill brush was pretty gross. As the electric starter was broken I had to buy the house a butane lighter. This is a nice and modern home with great beach views and proximity; just some attention to detail on maintenance and cleaning needed by the management company that owns and operates this house (and subdivision). Final note: Be aware that the home entrance and all but one bedroom are on level one and the living/dining/kitchen areas are on level two. This was fine for us but renters who have mobility issues should be aware that there is no elevator between floors, just stairs.

Lovely location and large living space with a view
Very much enjoyed the house, the neighborhood and the location of this home. Would certainly come back. Only recommend some soap dishes for the bathrooms and small folding tables for when on couch or in movie room (not many locations for beverages). Lovely mini-getaway.

Beautiful ocean front home
We had a wonderful time at the beach! The home is isbeautiful, well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. They have an extensive video library available with a theater room that the kids loved to play in. The hot tub was fantastic to sit in and enjoy the ocean view. We will rent this home again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Driftwood!! I was impressed with the quality of the items in the home. Kitchen utensils were good quality and we had everything we needed. Lots of dishes, glasses, silverware and towels!! The size of the house made it very easy for everyone to have their own space. We had some problems with the wifi but we called the property management and were able to troubleshoot it over the phone and it worked great the rest of our trip. Beach access was two doors down and a flight of stairs but this was not a problem for our group. Highly recommend this home!!

5 bedrooms with 6 Q or K beds total! The view from the deck was amazing, hot tub well maintained and ready for us! The kitchen was large (a little lacking in baking trays and cutting boards but we made do), huge dining table and lovely gas fireplace. We had trouble negotiating the tv/cable and remotes (better instructions needed...) the location is great and beach was easily accessible.

Our family had a wonderful time at this house. There were wonderful views of the ocean from the back of the house (we even saw whales in the distance). The house is a short walk down to the beach.. lots of stairs but, little kids did just fine. The house was clean with all the supplies needed. The open floor plan upstairs was a perfect gathering spot. However,the dishwasher was moldy inside so we washed our dishes by hand. Also, there was some water damage to the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We'd go back again.
