Luxurious and relaxing.

The room was extremely comfortable with a great bath and a fantastic nature view. The hosts Chris and Jo were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others.

We had an amazing stay at Messmates.

The suite was beautifully decorated, the views amazing and the provisions in the kitchen delicious. Jo and Chris are great hosts and have thought of everything! Such a tranquil place to rest and relax.

Our stay at Messmates was amazing. It was peaceful and very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed provided. Chris and Jo were there to greet us when we arrived and explained everything to us. Very relaxing break and a great way to start the new year. We loved it

A luxurious getaway destination for a couple

EVERYTHING! The owners truly thought of what they wanted their guests to feel. Comfortable yet luxurious. From the welcome drink to the double bathtub, my weekend trip turned into a mini romantic trip. perfect place for a couple.

Nothing. Everything was fantastic. I would say you will need a car to get to places, but the hosts offer a complimentary pickup and drop off into the town!!!

Breathtaking

Everything! This place is nothing less than amazing. The photos do NOT do this place justice. We were taken away as soon as we arrived and when we walked into our cabin we didn't want to leave. The owners are absolutely beautiful, they were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly. The communication prior to our arrival was outstanding, very caring and clear communication. We loved the location and appreciated the amount of effort and work that has gone into creating this majestic get away. It feels like you are hidden so far away from society but are infact literally minutes from the main Street. Quick drive to so many iconic places for beach stops and adventures. Loved that the owners supported local. The cabin was so clean and had lovely food available. The small kitchen had everything you could think of and or need. We were sad to leave. We WILL return here again, even if just to stay in the cabin and enjoy the view and bath for the entire stay. The bed was so comfortable. Even though there was another couple in the other cabin we did not hear a thing, extremely private place. Thank you so much Jo and Chris for creating this beautiful place and for being so warm and welcoming.

A must stay location , cannot be beaten

An outstanding eco lodge close to Inverloch set in spectacular native gardens. Everything was perfect from the comfy spacious bed to the luxurious bathroom and amazing vista

Loved it, will be back.

Everything about this place exceed our expectations. The property was stunning, including having heaps of wildlife around. The pond was really nice. Heaps of kookaburras and a couple of wallabies were spotted. Jo went out of her way even a few days before we even got there to see if we wanted to a pizza organised for dinner. Jo and Chris are a very nice couple great hosts. Upon arrival the guest book had all the details we needed. They even have a pillow menu, can hire beach towels and boogie boards if you want it for the beach. We worked remotely from Messmates for 2 days and even though Jo had warned me that we might have issues with NBN/WiFi but this was not an issue and my partner and I were both able to be on video calls at the same time.

We really couldn't fault this place. If only the weather had behaved so we could have seen the stars and the auroras, but that is not something Messmates could deal with.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, which was lovely.

Location lovely and peaceful except for mowers and chainsaws at times, but there is property around so to be expected.

A true experience, we just loved every moment there and will be back!

What Jo & Chris have done with the property is simply amazing. The Pond is incredible, with the plants around it and birds that have made it their home just wonderful. You can see it all from your full length window in the well appointed Suite. Now let's take about the Bath, it's the biggest we have ever seen, magical!

What a fantastic stay over Easter! Lovely surroundings, great place to relax and chill out. Beautiful room with everything provided that you would ever need. Great breakfast with homemade bread, all the trimmings including Easter eggs and locally made hot cross buns! Could not fault the place, we absolutely loved our stay.

Heavenly

The room was divine, every little thing was thought of from the freshly home baked sour dough bread, bathrobes to the bath soaks, pillow choices too. The serenity of the setting was spot on, absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this as a place to stay to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding area.
