It was a great space to enjoy visiting or having dinner. Close to downtown, host was very quick to respond and the place was very clean! Would definitely go back for another stay.

When we arrived the property was clean and ready for our stay. We stayed for a week, so the dishwasher and laundry were great to have. It was very quite and relaxing. We would highly recommend this for a family gathering.

Very pleased!
We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time.
The accommodations were very comfortable for our family and dog!
It is a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants
And we really liked having access to the Crowne Plaza facilities.
We did have poor WiFi connections when there. Although the manager tried to replace our connection with a MiFi device, that was also poor in connection.
But otherwise a great rental :)

Perfect in Every Way!
This property is absolutely gorgeous in every way - from the location to the furnishings which appear to be new to the view and layout. The pictures do not do this unit justice at all. This was our first time in Lake Placid and I would highly recommend this property.

Lake Placid
Property was as described. Very clean and well equipped. Furniture had been updated from the pictures.
Easy access to the lake and to downtown. Being able to use the facilities at the Crowne Plaza was great. Pet friendly-great street to walk the dog-not heavily trafficked this time of year.
Having a king sized bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms would’ve make the trip perfect.
Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect!
We spent a wonderful week here, met all our needs for our family and agreed with other previous posts the pics of the property do not do it justice. We would certainly return in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Walking distance to the village and awesome trail on the LP club golf course for snow shoeing just down the road from your front door. Overall great place!

This was the perfect home base for me and my two dogs for a weekend getaway. The street is very quiet yet close to everything. I stayed in an end unit and it was great.

Perfect Location and Accomodations
The home and location was great and perfect for me and my friends. We loved the location near Mirror Lake. And the three of us stayed there very comfortably, each with our own bedroom. We enjoyed the view out of the back and were lucky to have perfect weather for our stay to boot.

Labor Day Weekend at Lake Placid
The property is bigger than the pictures depict. It is clean, which is the MOST important aspect of a property for me. My kids loved having their own bedrooms and private bathrooms. I thought the third bedroom had two twin beds, but I believe they are doubles. All the bedrooms are very roomy, including the two upstairs. The bedrooms upstairs also have good views of the mountains, which you can't see from the photos. There's also plenty of space outside, next to the units if you bring a dog.
We would stay again, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The couches are old and uncomfortable, although they don't look that bad. There is sort of a campy odor to the place, but I am pretty sensitive to that and it didn't bother me after the initial entrance. It's possible no one had been in the unit in a while, so it just needed airing out. The deck with the unit we got is off to the side, and frankly we didn't use it because the furniture was so old, and the cement floor was peeling. It wasn't a pleasant place to sit. The beds are okay, but not great. However, I appreciate the use of hotel quality comforter covers, so you know they have been washed. The window trim is beautiful in this unit. There are curtains in all the bedrooms, but no shades of any sort in the other living areas. If someone was on the deck in the next door unit, they could have looked directly in at us sitting in the living room. No one was there, so it wasn't an issue. This is not the fault of the property, but if you walk back from town after dark, there are no lights on the road to the unit, so be sure you have your flashlight ready to go. If you are someone looking for a new space, this is probably not for you. If you appreciate a little character and a campy feel, and you want to walk to town easily, it should work out just fine.

Townhouse near everything.
This townhouse was actually nicer than it looked in the photos! The place was very clean and larger than I expected. One bedroom with attached bath was on the first floor, and two bedrooms, both with attached baths, were on the second floor. A lovely unscreened covered porch looks over a pond at the back of the townhouse. Check in was super simple- I was texted a code to access the door, and asked to call when we left. We never saw anyone during our stay, and that was just fine with us. The only comment I would make was that the sofas could use some updating. The kitchen had everything we needed and was spotless. The townhouse shares one wall and the floor with adjacent neighbors, but we had no issues with that. It is walking distance to Mirror Lake and close to Main Street. The townhouse is part of the Sentinel Apartments of the Lake Placid Club, which is managed by the Crowne Plaza (this took me a while to figure out!), so you have access to the amenities of the Crowne Plaza. We only used the small, private beach on Mirror Lake Drive while we were there, but definitely appreciated the access to the less crowded beach and availability to borrow kayaks. We really loved this rental, and my son wants to know when we are going back - and I agree with him!

This location and property worked out really well
This property is located close enough to walk to anything around Mirror Lake yet secluded for good privacy. The property being managed by Crowne Plaza also let's you use the facilities at their big hotel on the hill AND their private beach just a short walk north along Mirror Lake. We used the private beach to put in kayaks one day (I recommend a kayak trip to the Cottage Inn on the opposite side to stop there for a cold beverage) and we hung out on lounges another day. From this property we also launched short car rides to Whiteface mountain, the Olympic Jumping Center and Mt Van Hoevenberg. Of course the ice rink and Olympic museum is easy walk. No complaints about the property itself, all up to Crowne Plaza par.

This place was great! 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, perfect for my family (6 adults). Beautiful stone fireplace with good supply of wood. Large kitchen with all new appliances and granite counter tops and large open gathering area. Easy walk to Mirror Lake and the village and right next to the Lake Placid Club golf course which has excellent marked snow shoe/X-country ski trails. We had a great time!! Will rent again.

Perfect COVID Thanksgiving
Since we could not safely be with extended family for Thanksgiving, we decided to go North with just our immediate family and two bulldogs. The house was perfect! The fireplace was amazing. The open floor plan ideal for enjoying time together. View beautiful, all bedrooms spacious and wonderful to have some many baths. The walk to town so beautiful and the restaurants and shops felt super safe. We'd do it again !

Unit pretty outdated and some places not clean, but overall ok. NO POOL.
Two star for unit wasn’t cleaned so we had to call front desk to request additional vacuuming as all rugs were dirty. Fireplace wasn’t clean, cleaning lady said they would send someone else to clean but never did. Also microwave was dead, we requested to do something about it and they never did. The biggest thing was the pool, for us it was decision maker as we have 4 kids , this was really bad experience as not only you have to go to main hotel which is 20 min walk or 5 min drive , that we can understand, but in the hotel pool there is no “changing room”!!! So it’s not set up for out of hotel use, they suggested to use a bathroom. That really not acceptable, you come with kids and there is no way to change yourself or your kids. Last day we stayed there until closing, so the guy from front desk came and let everybody know that pool is closing ,10 min later they were standing there and complaining that it takes us so long to dress up our kids and we have to rush. For us , pool was decision maker for this property , pool on those pictures only for advertising purposes, for easier sell. Go for it and you see for yourself.

Quiet, clean, and recently renovated
This property solved the problem we run into frequently as our children get older, hotels can’t accommodate a party of five. Each of the children had their own bed, which they loved. It’s a short walk to the lake or town. Pond out back makes a great setting to watch the sunrise and drink coffee in the morning’s.

Clean, spacious, staff at the Hotel were very accomodating
Large condo with plenty of space for skis and gear. Sparsely furnished but very adequate. Comfy beds, nice bedrooms. Master bedroom and bath on 1st floor nice - bathroom fairly cold with poor heat, but wall electric unit worked fine. I would stay here again
