The walls are dirty and cracked, the sheets had hair and were stained. The dishes were dirty when arriving. They did have a washer and dryer which was nice. Other than this, I would find yourselves and actual hotel, the description reads boutique hotel but it’s actually not… it’s next door to the boutique hotel and this place is actual apartments. Oh, and our patio door didn’t lock so anyone could have stolen our belongings at any given point.

Firstly, the apartment we stayed in wasn't the one in the photos. I assume the rental company owns a number of similar apartments in the block because the description was accurate and layout the same, but the photos were totally different. This really needs to be made clear in the description.
Check in was a bit chaotic. We were given the wrong code for the apartment door and then someone was parked in our assigned space in the car park. However, these issues were resolved fairly quickly by Jacob by WhatsApp.
All this aside, the apartment was actually perfect for our family of 5, contained all the amenities we needed (including some nice touches such as shabbat candles and toiletries), and was in a great position for reaching all the main sights on foot.
Jacob was also super flexible on letting us leave the car for a few hours after check-out before we were due to leave Jerusalem.
All in all, despite the quirks of the listing and checking-in, I'd definitely stay again!

This is a group of rooms to choose from in a complex. Location near Old City is great, but the lack of communication after they received our money was terrible. Six unanswered What'sApp texts (how they said they preferred to communicate). We came in on A Friday afternoon, so I understand the slow ness of a Fri or Sat response rate as it is Shabbat in Jerusalem. But they never responded. I had to go downstairs (& tip: the rental office is on the ground level near road, not the guard at the desk) and tell them about a broken dishwasher, espresso machine, unwashed dishes in the dishwasher, a floor that needed sweeping a balcony that needed mopping, a clogged bathtub drain, no blinds in the kitchen, making for hot afternoon sun streaming in. On the plus side, the office did write down my issues and the beds in the 2-bedroom apartment we got (but not the pace in the pics) were comfortable, and the air conditioner seemed able to keep up with the afternoon sun in the kitchen.
