Stunning views will be yours as soon as you enter this 16th floor Gulf Crest condo. It has windows all he way around the condo with ocean views.
This unit is a very spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath corner unit with a balcony that wraps around the entire unit. Not many 3 bedrooms in Panama City Beach have a balcony this big. This unit is on the west end of the building so the sunset views are incredible.
The master bedroom is located directly overlooking the water and does have access to the balcony. It has a king size bed and has stunning views of the ocean.
The 2nd bedroom also has a king size bed in it and has balcony access also.
The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and also has balcony access.
All bedrooms have balcony access and all bedrooms have tvs.
There is a twin size bunkbed nook in the main area.
The living room has a sleeper sofa that can make into a bed.
The Gulf Crest complex is located on Thomas Drive close to numerous restaurants and attractions. It is near St. Andrews is nearby at Captain Andersons Marina.

There is a $50 registration fee per condo for parking passes and arm bands.

I stay at GC only, we always get a 3 bedroom, I will share my thoughts on this particular unit. When we arrived the door was unlocked but we were able to settle in ok. This entire unit needs updates, like new furniture, paint, and washer/dryer. Too many things to list but I expected better considering the price. Spend about 10k and it would be in tip top shape. Be sure they clean all the mold in the bathrooms and kitchen. We did have plenty of silverware pots and pans etc to cook with. The TV is Roku but luckily we like westerns. The view is wonderful as always and we had a great time but I would only pick this unit again if there was nothing else available.

Lots of great things and things to improve. The wrap around balcony is amazing along with the evening sunset. Lots of room. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows. The kitchen is roomy. The elevator was quick no long wait for the 16th floor. Pool and hot tubs are nice and right on the beach . It’s needs a deep clean and update . Bathtubs have mold around the shower doors, fridge has liquid under the shelf that needs to be cleaned. The dryer is about to quit. Need to update pots n pans. Need more towels. Dust in corners and baseboards. Dresser broken.p couch 142 Skyline Ct chai needs cleaning . I asked about the beach chairs and was told they don’t have them but found them later in the week. I read the reviews and brought cleaning supplies and used them. Management was quick to respond and friendly but wasnt really familiar with this unit. Wi-Fi instructions for the unit didn’t work ( hoping it was stronger) was able to use the communal WiFi. This unit has so much more potential.

This was our 5th stay at Gulf Crest Condos, sometimes for a week with family and twice for a 4-6 week stay for my husband and me. The condo and the grounds are clean and well maintained. We have always been very happy with the units we have rented so we were excited to return last week. However, this unit was not up to our expectations. The unit needs attention, something we all have to address in our own homes through the years. The mattresses in two of the bedrooms need to be replaced. The beds were so uncomfortable that two adults in our family chose to sleep in the small cubby bunks rather than the beds. Some of the furniture and accessories are broken. The finish on the cabinetry is worn and peeling. The bathrooms are outdated and have numerous water stains and damage. The unit needs work.

We’ve stayed in Gulf Crest yearly for maybe 5-6 years now.
Despite cleaning until 4:00 on the nose, there was still dust hanging from ceilings and fans, floors were all very wet, so they tracked our first footsteps after taking off our shoes.

The view was amazing - we’ve never stayed on the 16th floor (usually 5th-8th)
Really pleased that the elevators were so fast! I don’t think we waited more than once or twice.
We’ll be looking forward to a different 3 bedroom unit in the future, but we really appreciate the availability of this unit at short notice.

I have stayed at Gulf Crest multiple times. The views are spectacular! It served it's purpose and we enjoyed our stay after we did some cleaning. I would be nice to have access to these supplies instead of having to buy them on your own. The pools, hot tubs and beach were great and it was nice having the two beach chairs included. The Tiki hut was open this year so it was great to have this option for food and drinks. However, if I were the owner, I would be highly upset with the cleanliness of the condo. It is in serious need of a good deep cleaning. Cooking supplies less than desirable. The fridge/freezer had a terrible seafood smell that caused the whole place to smell. No matter how much we cleaned (there was nasty liquid in bottom of fridge under drawer) or how many baking soda boxes we put in, we couldn't get it to go away.

Love Gulf Crest, all the amenities on the property are well maintained but not this unit! Extremely disappointed in this specific unit, it desperately needs to be deep cleaned. Will return to Gulf Crest this summer but will be staying in a different unit.

Our stay was wonderful.The location and view were beautiful. Few hiccups :All the patio furniture was inside the house and we had to move it to the patio. The wash machine was very stinky and musty. The master bedsheets were not changed and were sandy and dirty but we washed them and it was good. Last the ice machine barely worked. However even with this the vacation was absolutely wonderful and we would still come back.

This condo was filthy there was hair in the tub cabinets doors were falling off. Shower door was broken, couldn’t handle ion the balcony door living room side like the door was stuck. Floors were dirty, couch seem on left side was filthy. Was not impressed at all!

When we arrived a repairman can in behind us to fix the dishwasher. There were plenty of dished/silverware and even a crockpot in the room. There was sleep space for 10, but only LR seating for 5. There were strong winds on the first night blowing off the gulf. The LR slider didn't properly close and made a really loud whirring/roar with the wind. We ended up opening the door about an inch and the noise stopped. The door is not seated well in the track. Overall the beds were comfortable and the condo was suited our needs well. Would rent this until again.

We have stayed in a condo at gulf crest for the past 17 years for fall break. I was not impressed with this unit at all. I contacted the management company as soon as we got there about the main door, it looked as if someone had kicked it in. They did send out maintenance to fix it the next day, the dishwasher would not drain, he looked at it but had to order a part. So we had no dishwasher the whole time and we have a big family and eat most meals in the room. He also changed out 2 or 3 plugs for us that looked like they had burned. The living room did not have enough furniture for a big family, it looked nothing like the picture. The patio doors was so had to open the track needed to be cleaned out. Master bathroom had mold on the door and the shower head. The floor was just gross. The unit truly needs a deep cleaning and an update.

The dishwasher is broken, there were several light bulbs out, the living room furniture is not what is shown in the VRBO listing, the balcony sliding door is extremely hard to open and close, there’s rotten wood throughout the condo- one area being the front door which does not lock properly, leaky faucets in bathrooms and just overall old and dirty! Definitely would not recommend this unit

Location was great. The condo was clean but does need updating. The washer was pretty dirty but I sent a message and they sent someone right over to clean it. The bed’s definitely need updating not very comfortable at all. We loved the balcony that wrapped around the condo. You cant beat the view and location. We would definitely stay here again if beds are better.

We booked this condo for a week and ended up extending our trip because we just didn't wanna leave it! It was beautiful and very spacious! The weather wasn't great some days due to the hurricane in south florida but we still had a great time hanging out in the condo! The host messaged back pretty quickly and was very nice! We will definitely be back!!

As soon as we got there, we saw bugs! The room was nasty! It was late so we decided to sleep and go get cleaning supplies in the morning. I had to deep clean this unit so my infant grandson could be on the floor. I had to continue to clean the entire stay because it was roaches and they were EVERYWHERE! Even in the digital screen on the stove, coming out of the ice maker, in the cabinets-everywhere!
It took me about 5 months to get a resolution from this company. And I still didn’t get a full refund.
This unit could be perfect if it was just properly cleaned and cared for.

The space in this condo was great for our family! It was big enough for everyone to feel as if they weren’t crowded. The cleanliness of the condo however, was awful. There was sand all over the floor, the sheet rock around the showers was rotted and had horrible patch work. There was a whole in the wall in the common bathroom, mildew and mold in the master shower. All of the doors need to be replaced, especially the front door. It looks like some sort of animal chewed on it. More non stick pans wouod be nice, silverware that wasn’t tarnished. The patio furniture is all rusted and the patio door from the living room to outside barely shut and made a hollowing noise if it wasn’t locked. Almost all of the curtains were broke and need to be replaced as well. The master bed wasn’t horrible. The other two beds Al were decent. Could have been worse but weren’t awful. The location was ok but next time we will stay closer to pier park. Overall the space again, perfect but MAJOR cleaning and updates need to be done. Especially for the price we paid.

Another great stay at Gulf Crest Condominium 1607. The condo is spacious and has everything including beach chairs that come with the rental. This is our 2nd year and we will definitely going back next year. We were a family of 8 and had plenty of room. Do yourself a favor and book a different room. Overall the property is bad. This is not due to the cleaning crew although they could have done better. The whole place needs to have new paint on walls and trim. They are gross. The rug in the living room was nasty with stains all over it. The lamps were broke. The bed frames were not attached to the headboards so every time you sat on the bed the headboard moved all around and there were no bed skirts and the box springs look awful. The toilet ran all night keeping everyone up and we had to turn the water off at night, on our 4th day there we called because the dishwasher leaked very bad (they came and fixed the toilet and said dishwasher but it leaked again on Thursday. There were 3 missing smoke detectors. Knobs missing off cabinets. Kitchen and bath cabinets were not clean on inside. One of the dressers was missing half of the front of the drawer. Trash can in kitchen and utensils were dirty. There is not a couch and love seat like the pictures show. It was one small couch and 2 chairs that were not comfortable at all. Just don’t it! We had 10 families we knew staying at the same condos and the other rooms were all nice.

The unit is beautiful and the view breathtaking, however, there were several issues with the unit. The floors were filthy, pullout couch bed had used sheets with dirt and sand in it, dishwasher held water in the bottom after cycle complete, one of the two shower doors in the bathroom was missing, master bathtub held atleast 4 inches of water every time used, several knobs missing on doors/drawers, limited cookware, and no response from the owner regarding these issues. If these were addressed and corrected, it would be an absolutely perfect unit.

Amazing views but bring house shoes
I really wanted to love this place and at a basic level it fit our needs. The place had 3 bedrooms with the bunks and fit our family of 9 to sleep. If you would like to sit in the living room it has seating for 5. You will have to shake their rug out on the balcony as it has lived a life. It was absolutely disgustingly dirty. That goes for the whole place. The shower handle was broken in the “master” bedroom so it was a roulette on the temperature you would receive. The was a layer of dirt on the floor and the base boards and walls are covered in filth. The drawers in the bathroom all had hair in them. The kitchen supplies are dismal and lacking. There was a casserole dish in the oven with a layer of fat and mold growing on it. I had to order cleaning supplies immediately to the room and mop and wipe the baseboards, walls, and floor. I also had to order bathroom cleaning supplies because our toilet had a ring of fecal matter on it. The toilet also would come off the wall when you sat on it. The beds in the closet had springs that came up so our children complained that it was digging into their backs and had to relocate. There is a stereo in the kitchen that is covered in grime. The silverware was atrocious. All the bathroom mats felt sandy. Our feet were black and covered in filth pretty much the entire time. I brought my 7 month old baby and wouldn’t put him on the floor due to finding braces rubber bands, plastic pieces, broken plates pieces, and just dirt.
The view is amazing. If you would like to sit on the balcony peacefully you will have to contend with the noise of a broken railing. The sound of of beach waves is accompanied by that shaking. Some of the chairs are broken and bent in a way that if you sit in them you will fly backwards.
Check in and out with the elevators is a nightmare. This is not their fault. There are just a lot of people and only 3 elevators.
So I will sum this up.

Well to start,we had beautiful weather for the week. The beach is beautiful. The condo is a great size for family of 8. Balcony access from all the bedrooms was nice. I do not like to give a negative review but for the cost of the rental we all should have more comfortable beds to sleep in and more seating in the living room for family TV time in the evenings.. There should not be black mold around the showers.The condo was not as clean as it should be. The beds did not have mattress pads (covers) on all of them, The mattresses on the twin bunks are terrible. The kids could feel the springs poking in their bodies. My granddaughter slept on the couch because of it. I placed the extra pillows on the bottom bunk under the sheet to make it more comfortable for my grandson. Thank goodness there were a lot of pillows. The TV in the guest king bedroom did not work,no internet connection to it . Also the drapes are missing hooks and are hanging in the floor. In the master bathroom the outlets on both sides at the sinks did not work to use a blow dryer. Both of the bathroom showers have mold on the doors and around them. In the hall bathroom the flush handle hangs and keeps running water unless you lift handle up. It was running water upon our arrival. There need to be more seating in the living room. If the condo sleeps 10 there should be seating to accommodate 10 .There was 8 of us and we could not all sit and watch TV together ,only has seating for 5 people. The dishes were not clean . I had to clean out the silverware drawer ,there were crumbs and it looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. I always wash all the dishes I plan to use but the pans had to be scrubbed with a soap pads to remove all the dried on food debris .I was glad to see that the washer and dryer worked well .
There was not that many towels so they were washed often. There needs to be a day for deep cleaning ,corners ,dust walls, wipe down kitchen cabinets .With a good refresh,minor repairs, extra seating for living room and it would be a great condo..
It was nice to have the chairs and umbrella on the beach.
