About this house rental

Gorgeous 6 bedroom/6 bath gulf front duplex on West Beach Blvd. This property is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well-equipped. Enjoy coffee on one of the three covered porches overlooking the gulf. If the surf is too rough you can go for a swim in the pool. This home can sleep up to 20 people. Sunset has two master suites overlooking the gulf. One master suite occupies the entire third floor and has a garden tub with a separate shower. The other master faces the gulf on the 2nd floor. Each master suite has a king bed. There is also a king room on the first floor. One bedroom on 2nd floor is set up for the kids and has two bunks (double over double). There are a total of 3 king size beds, 2 queen beds, 4 double beds, and a sleeper sofa. There is a large laundry room with a new full size washer and dryer. Covered parking is available and a charcoal grill is located under the house by the pool deck. The location of his home is perfect, just 2 miles from Hwy. 59 and minutes away from great shopping and restaurants.

We had a great stay! We only had a few minor problems but nothing worth complaining about. The place was very spacious for party of 14. Pool is a little small but then again we were there for the ocean! Would definitely stay here again.

We booked this house last minute and Kate was great to communicate with. House is nice and quaint. A little dated and could use some updating and improvements but overall pleased with the stay. Very quiet and safe area. Would stay again!

We had such a great family vacation! It hasn’t happened in a while but we were all together! The house was a perfect landing spot for us all. The beach access was exactly what we wanted and the pool was an added bonus. The host was very responsive to all my questions. From the oldest to the youngest we had the best week!

My family and I enjoyed our time in this unit. It was clean and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone in my party. The pool was nice and came in handy on the windy, double red flag beach days we experienced during our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend this unit!

Great experience! Beach much less crowded than Florida, fun for all ages. Neighbors in duplex were very considerate and the building in general is very quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise outside of our unit. Easy access to restaurants and shopping.

Lovely property with pool and easy beach access! As per rental agreement, don’t forget to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, tall kitchen garbage bags ,and beach towels. They are all available on arrival, but not stocked for replacement. Overall, a beautiful place!

Location was great and beach area wasn’t crowded, number of baths and bedrooms was perfect. Only recommendation for the property mgmt/owner would be to consider at least a 10am check out, I have never stayed at a place with a 9am check out before. They also require you to wash and dry all the towels which when you have a house full of people and a 9am check out is a bit unreasonable, (there also wasn’t detergent left, at least that we could find, so make sure to pack some or purchase some when you arrive)

Be prepared for many steps especially if you are lucky enough to get the third floor Master bedroom. It was wonderful and the bathroom a dream. Only problem encountered there was the balcony door which was extremely hard to open and close. Loved having a separate ice maker. Overall everyone enjoyed the trip. Thank you!

This was a wonderful vacation home! We had plenty of room for 11 family members. The additional ice maker was great! We never ran out of ice. The ocean was just steps away and the pool just off the deck. I would recommend this home to anyone. The property manager and owners were very easy to work with. Thanks for sharing your home!

Our family of 14 loved every minute staying in Sunset for a week. This house is wonderful. The teenagers enjoyed the pool and the adults loved the short walk to the beach. The house is close enough to all the restaurants and activities in Gulf Shores. Eight of us attended Kenny Chesney’s concert at the Wharf Amphitheater. We would recommend this house to anyone with a large group. We didn’t want to leave the beautiful white sandy beach and clear blue water.

This 6 bedroom, 6 bath beach front home met our needs perfectly. We were 8 adults (4 of whom were seniors), 7 children (ranging in age from 5-15). We also had our dogs with us as it is a pet friendly rental which made it ideal for us. This unit is half of a duplex with which it shares a pool. The beach was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Lady Sunset!! This spacious, clean, beautifully decorated beach home is a wonderful get-away for a family vacation!! With two master suites, each with private beach-front balconies; four other smaller (but also spacious!!) suites; and a very nice kitchen/dining/living room area (also with beach-front deck), we had a great mix of togetherness and private retreat time during the week. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed, as we prepared several meals at the house. The beds were super comfortable, with very nice linens and lots of pillows!! TVs in every room much appreciated!! The big thing, though, the beach!! Our family truly enjoyed walking out the back door directly onto the white sand!! A very short trek over a very small dune got us to the water. That's what we were looking for!! We also loved relaxing in and by the pool. The pool is private, but is shared with the tenants of Lady Sunrise, as the house is a duplex...Lady Sunset & Sunrise. Still a very nice setup. The house is conveniently located to many outstanding eateries and to lots of great shopping!! Our hostess, Kate, was super nice to work with...very helpful and always quick to respond to our questions. The check-in and check-out processes were clear, concise, and simple!! We would definitely recommend this house to others and would not hesitate to rent it again!!
