About this apartment rental

Golf Course Fronted condo. Completed a complete kitchen renovation with new cabinets, countertops and appliances, also new LVP flooring throughout the condo. 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with views of the River Oaks Golf course and Intracoastal waterway. Condo is located on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator. The complex is in a gated community. The unit has a king bed in master with twin beds in the 2nd bedroom, with 2 new mattresses. The complex has 2 pools, one outside, with hot tub which are seasonal, one indoor pool heated to 89 degrees from October to May. Complex has a artificial putting green, tennis court, and pickle ball. Condo boasts 2 couches that contain 4 recliners so you don't have to fight over the recliner. New large screen smart t.v. in the living room with new DVD player and DVD library. If you have streaming accounts, you can log onto the t.v., there are a selection of games. 2 new t.v.’s in the bedrooms. New DVD in second bedroom. Updated vanities and mirrors in both bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen including a George Forman grill, and smokeless electric grill, blender and crockpot. New large capacity Washer / Dryer in unit. Condo is convenant to Rt-501 with a 3 mile straight shot into the middle of Myrtle Beach'''s Big Wheel. Broadway at the Beach is basically around the corner on Rt-17. with a brand new Dave and Busters and top eating and drinking establishments. It is about 3 miles from the Cal Ripken complex. As I have hosted many families over the past three years that have participated in the Cal Ripken experience. There are 13 golf courses withing 6 miles of the condo. The 3rd floor corner unit is very quiet. The complex also has roving security at night , No animals have lived in the unit, so there is no allergy worries. I also provide hand/laundry/dishwasher soap. Salt/pepper and various other spices, and paper products. Anything that is left in the condo may be used/consumed by the guest. I only ask that if you finish something to please pay it forward and replace it for the next guest

George has ALOT of rules. I was unaware that my young son, who was playing in a baseball tournament at The Ripken Experience, wiped his face with a towel to get the black and red sun block from his face. Apparently, this is one of many rules that George has. George stated that we “damaged” 3 towels, 3 wash cloths, and a hand towel. He then proceeded to put us on the do not rent list, for towels!!!!! He is now saying we owe him an extra $115 for 7 towels. The check in was somewhat difficult as George’s instructions were inaccurate. We had to wait 15 minutes for a car to go through the security gate so we could pass through. The instructions for the internet were inaccurate. We had to call George multiple times for assistance. The smart TVs did not work as advertised. The screened in porch had an entire panel missing, making it useless for keeping the bugs out. You cannot lock the sliding rear door. Overall, the unit was clean and cozy. It was in a great location for the ballpark. Just please use caution and read ALL the rules very carefully. And for the love of God, bring your own towels!!!

The owner has lots of rules and interestingly has personal pictures of himself in the unit. It is a 3rd floor location with no elevator. It has a small screened porch but one side of the screen is missing which was an invitation for the bugs. The glass slider can’t be locked. Nice updated kitchen but small.

My favorite part of this stay was honestly George. What a great host. Responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Golfers paradise. Quiet and clean. Love the pool. Plenty of parking. I love that he provides staples and asks that we pay it forward. Highly recommend.

We rented this condo for my 13 year old's week at The Ripken Experience. The location was PERFECT and good for 2 parents and 2 teens. Like all of the reviews said, the unit was stocked well. The only thing missing was a hairdryer....but WalMart was close enough!

Beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom condo right near the Ripken baseball facility. Gated entry and onsite security is nice too. This condo has everything you need in a nice, quiet, clean, safe area but is close to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer! Thanks

We had a really great experience at this condo. George knows a really good job with this place. If you stay here you'll love the updated kitchen. has all the kitchen utensils and items that you need to cook a good meal. I thought the whole place was just great. The number one thing is, it was very very clean!!!! We would definitely stay here again. It's in a nice location, in a quiet part of Myrtle Beach. I give it 5 stars👍

Absolutely no complaints. Everything about this stay was super easy. The condo was immaculately clean- with a newly updated kitchen and washer/dryer. More than spacious enough for our family of 4. The property was clean and gated which was also a plus and it was easy to get to everything. Most important the owner was quick to respond to our inquiries! We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Convenient location to access shopping and beaches but not right in the middle of craziness. We have family here so staying right off of 501 was easy to get to them as well as shopping and dining. Apartment living area is smaller, no more than four people can sit on couches due to built in armrests with drink holders. Lots of remotes but none of them worked the tv volume or input so we were only able to watch DVD’s. On site security was a total joke. When needed to assist with parking passes he was found sleeping in a closet in the second floor, intoxicated. Advised the owner and he was going to contact the security company to resolve. We had some linen issues that were partially resolved but that wasn’t the owners fault. Cleaning people missed some dirty mattress protectors. Just didn’t use them. Indoor pool was a little humid, smelly and slimey. Outdoor pool was fantastic! Overall a nice, much needed vacation.

We had a great stay at the condo! It was exactly as stated in the listing. The condo was very clean and it had easy access to anywhere you wanted to go. We were really close to Broadway at the Beach as well as the beach itself. The condo was super quiet. We loved being on the golf course. The pantry had a lot of spices and other stapes in it. The owner was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything and he responded almost immediately! I would definitely rent from him again!

After a bit of a snafu, when we arrived (not the owners fault), I will say this property was absolutely perfect. It was clean when we entered. the communication from the owner was good and he was available when needed, which was very much appreciated. The property is located perfectly. there is a golf course all around you. It is quiet and peaceful. it is an easy 10 minute drive to the beach and boardwalk. less than that to the waterpark and boardwalk at the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. 100% would stay here again.

Our family was on a budget and wanted to stay near the Cal Ripken baseball fields mostly, yet within 5-10 mins from other attractions and other families. This was a great choice for us, aside from the stairs only for luggage and grocery time. The location was safe, quiet and convenient for our family. I should mention the kids did most of the stair work for luggage and grocery time anyways.. lol. Should we decide to travel down to Myrtle in the future, we would definitely look into this Carolina Forest location with George again! Thanks for everything.. Good times!

This condo is a great place for 4 people! It had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay! First, George the owner was fantastic through the whole process. Indoor pool was great. Hot tub was also nice. View of golf course was a par three and relaxing to watch. Wifi and smart tv both worked well. All appliances worked and had an array of pots, pans, and utensils to use for cooking at the condo. To us, location was excellent for the time of year. Beaches north and south were no more than 20 minutes away. If we visit again, will try to book here. Thank you for your hospitality George!

We enjoyed this sunny ,quiet, cozy condo with 2 comfortable reclining sofas that were perfect for our 2 month winter stay. The kitchen had everything we needed & there were plenty of games to play. The view was great as we watched the golfers all day & some boats passing on the intracoastal waterway. It was nice walking around the area close to the water. We were located about 2 miles from the mall, restaurants, & Walmart & not far from Broadway on the Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for a week and still did not want to leave. This was the first time booking through VRBO.com and it was an easy process. The unit was as described, equipped with everything needed to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. George was great and easy to work with, anytime I had a question he was a text or call away. Zero complaints whatsoever. Traveled to MB for my 13 y/o’s baseball tourney at Ripken and this place provided everything we needed, was affordable, and was close in proximity to the complex as well as restaurants, shopping and of course the beach. Highly recommend you cough up the $8 per person and go to the state park right down the road when you want to have a beach day; FAR less crowds and much cleaner, plus there’s no high rises behind the dunes so the view is drastically better.
