Upon arrival, me and my family fell in love with the property! The retro A-frame was a super cool addition to our vacay, when you walk in your greeted with a friendly and helpful binder that explains everything you need to know about the area from good eats to the best hiking trails we had days full of adventure and excitement! We were in touch with the host days prior to arriving, she was very helpful super sweet and very responsive. The Ski House was charming and conveniently located to the Water Park and other activities we were interested in. Ski House had everything we needed in terms of space and comfort for 7 people, amenities, and kitchen supplies. The rental and instructions were simple and easy. The rain kept us indoors, so we hope to come back one day in the future to explore outdoors where we saw deer, a lovely creek, and lots of song birds.

This was the perfect little place for a spring break getaway! It was easy to find and our kids loved that they had their own space upstairs and the adults had their own bedrooms on the main floor. It was just what we needed!

My husband really enjoyed the amenities of the home. We love to cook, and the kitchen was stocked and we had everything we needed. We also really enjoy the hot tub.
The house was very clean and we felt right at home.
The hosts are very friendly and were quick to respond. We can’t wait to go back next year.

Perfectly located to do all things in the area. House has everything you need for your stay. Upstairs is perfect for kids to sleep and play. Kitchen chairs are a little uncomfortable (I have a bad back though) we did notice some things left behind from what I’m guessing were the previous renter like some balloons that were written on and a random sock makes me wonder how good it was cleaned. Overall our stay was pretty perfect and we love how quaint the house was. Thank you!

Great experience in the house. House is older but well maintained. Lack of towels would have made it difficult if we didn’t live relatively close though. Well stocked kitchen for making meals for the family. Would stay again.

This house was perfect for our family of 7, from ages 7 to my old self of 68. The house of clean and stocked with games and supplies to help make our stay more enjoyable. It was just a few minutes down the hill from all the activities at Massanutten making it easy to go back and forth during the day. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with including large skillets and a stockpot for soups/stews. The host, Joanna was wonderful and helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend it to everyone especially families wanting together time.

Had everything we needed
This home was just right for our extended weekend stay. Word to the wise... most activities don't open around Massanutten until memorial day (we went to a petting zoo and found that out). Location is super convenient, and the hot tub was really clean.

Very Clean Comfortable Family Friendly
This is the cleanest virbo house I've stayed in thus far. The management & house access to resort amenities was phenomenal. That home was very comfortable and clean for my husband and my 2 preteen boys. All the instructions were very clear for the access to activities. Prime location. Beautiful neighborhood. We cooked in the house all week, utilized the gas grill and thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi. I can't say anything bad about this place my family & I really enjoyed it, enjoyed the family games available & the local neighborhood Beavers, deers, & birds. I would definitely stay here again & recommend this home for your family stay in Massanutten.

Perfect getaway
This place was perfect for our family of 5. Cozy, but plenty of room to spare if we had more family with us. It's even nicer in person. The house was clean, fully stocked, and you can tell the owners really go the extra mile as hosts. It exceeded our expectations in every way! Location is great for Al of the activities, and we loved the hot tub. We are already planning a return trip!

Cozy resort house - perfect for families
We had a great time at the Ski House, which is conveniently located on the resort property on a safe for young kids cul-de-sac. Between the huge hot tub, the adorable nooks and crannies of the house design, and the very friendly owners, we will definitely be back!

Mountain Getaway
Super cute and well-appointed property. There is plenty to do in the area, including several museums. Up the road about two miles is an amusement center with mini-golf and other activities. The kids had a blast, we will definitely consider this A-Frame for future trips.

Lovely home away from home in a terrific location
Our family has been going to Massunutten for well over a decade during the beautiful Fall months. But this was the first time we rented a house on the mountain rather than one of the standard villas. After this experience I imagine we will do this from now on. The house, location, hot tub and host were all amazing. The A Frame house was very charming, very well kept and the kids loved “exploring” all the rooms.
It was extremely comfortable and the design/interior was very cozy. We used the hot tub every evening and didn’t want to leave on our last day. Plenty of room for a big group, and Jo (the host) was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here. I’m sure we will be back as well.

Great option for low key summer vacation
Spent a nice week w family enjoying outdoors, Shenandoah, and Massanutten and other local attractions. Had one small issue w a dirty coffee pot (hence 4 starsin that category but otherwise was great) but the owner kindly reimbursed us for the pour over pot we bought to use instead. Was very attentive to other needs as well. Definitely recommend!
