Great hosts were really helpful, and nothing was a problem. Fridge & microwave in our room, dog friendly comfy bed, good-sized rooms will definitely return

A home away from home, we felt so welcome and not just another guest checking in. The hosts knew our name and even filled the fridge with non-essential items just for the kids. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Beds were comfy, soft clean sheets. There were more than enough freash towels provided for our stay, even a baby towel left for our youngest hanging on a cot made up for him with a teddy bear making it extra cosy.
Very close to a number of lovely beaches & nature reserves, Shopping retail Parks, a pharmacy and some nice pubs. Parking is free and secure behind locked gates plus cctv.
The room was a decent size for the four of us. It had everything we needed for the weekend.
We didn't dislike anything.

Friendly welcome. Staff were very keen to please.
No cook breakfast.

Unser Gastgeber war toll, hat uns herzlich empfangen und sogar geholfen, die Koffer auf das Zimmer zu bringen. Frühstück konnten wir auf dem Zimmer einnehmen, was mit Kind und Hund sehr praktisch war!

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely couple who run Parc Lodge. Spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was a lovely selection with everything you need. Very secure and safe with off road parking. A+++!
Nothing to dislike except quite difficult to find in the dark. Maybe a solar light on the wall?

Very friendly owners, great room and facilities.
It was all fine.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4 plus our little dog. The room was plenty big enough for our needs. The property and room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The hosts are so friendly and always happy to help wherever they can. Location was great for what we needed. We would happily stay here again.
4.5
homely, friendly and hospitable
no hot breakfast

Ann was lovely, the room was ok, it wasn't really suited for a wheelchair user, the shower, toilet and basin was built into the old wardrobe area. Mattress was as others have said was soft but the amount of items Ann put into the room for breakfast/snacks was a lot more than I thought would. be there.
For the money I thought the room would have been better and I was told we would have a view of the garden which we didn't get but could watch over my van

The couple who run the guesthouse were very hospitable and welcoming. They went out of their way to be helpful. We wanted to extend our stay by an extra night and they were happy for us to do this and brought us up extra food and towels straight away.

Located on the outskirts of Bridgend the property is well located for sightseeing in the coastal area of Glamorgan. A continental style breakfast was provided in the room.
Parking somewhat limited for a large vehicle. Due to the stairs, ground floor accommodation is more convenient for older residents and for dog owners.
4.5
convenient for us visiting family. parking. everything was clean and tidy. continental breakfast was provided in a fridge in the room. staff were friendly but not intrusive.
the room was a bit hot for us but we opened a window which helped.

Very comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing.

Dog friendly, food provided was good. Sugar free items were a nice touch and not having to ask. Friendly staff and we’re welcoming and understanding about our dog peeing on sofa at entry. Great location.
Parking was way to tight, small shower and room was a bit cluttered with items. Bed was to soft.

it was very welcoming and homely.

A cosy place to stay and friendly hosts
A better table in the room at which to eat breakfast

warm and friendly welcome. Everyone made me - and Barney the dog - feel right at home . great location for visiting all the area - both coast and inland

The hosts are so welcoming and it's like a home from home. Comfy bed and all the facilities were ideal for my week long stay.
Nothing

Anne and David were very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed each day. They were very helpful when we had an issue with our car.

our hosts were terrific. They helped us with all the essentials!
The house was a tad bit difficult to find first time. we drove past it then searched the numbers very carefully. would have loved a cooked breakfast, but we managed.
4.5
I was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the hosts were, they really made me feel welcomed and made sure my safety was priority.

Wonderful welcoming hosts and comfortable beds. David and Ann gave lots of good suggestions for places to visit and where to eat.
Suggest little cartons of fresh orange/ breakfast juice in the fridge. Would have been nice to have a little table to sit at to eat, but aware it would mean reorganisation of the room!
4.5
Brilliant hosts. Nice rooms. Good bed. Very clean.
A little bit noisy. We had an annoying neighbor who came knocking when we were talking in our room.
4.5
Warm welcome. Spotlessly clean room. Nice sheets and bedding. Off road secure parking.
Not keen on eating breakfast in same room as I slept in. Obviously a hang over from COVID precautions but would prefer a separate space to eat in as all very cramped. Outside areas could do with a little sprucing up, old fag ends left in ashtray outside.

Very clean, comfortable and landlady very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the big bath and breakfast facilities.

felt like home from home. The beds were so comfy.

Anne and David are lovely couples make us feel comfortable and they're awake about us deafness. ❤️ .

Yes if was grill microwave... ( I worked chef that why ) ,

easy to find and so close to our wedding venue 👍
everything was fine

Good location. Nicely furnished, very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We stayed for one night during the August heatwave and not surprisingly the room was extremely hot which was helped by two fans that were put in our room. However, we would not stay again if the temperature was in excess of 35 degrees centigrade.
4.5
huge bed, off road parking, clean. a new room was sorted for us straight away. choice of food in the fridge and milk for breakfast. fan supplied in room.
note: sat nav takes you too far up the hill, the bnb is down the hill past the bus stop and the post box, left in at the large white wall.
the booking description on booking. com is misleading ( 1 double and 2 singles - the singles were bunk beds) and were not suitable for two adults who had booked separate beds. this was really disappointing as we were staying for a special family reunion, and had paid more for the extra space based on the reviews and the expectation was a large room with multiple beds.
we were moved immediately to a room with a king / super king bed in it, so very lucky there was space.
the bathroom was extremely hot and needs an extractor fan. the room size isn’t too bad if you reduce the furniture, rugs and brick-a-brac in the room, as it feels over crowded and easy to knock things over.
the curtains didn’t hold back the light, so both mornings were very early starts with sunrise.
