Abdou is really nice ! Taking good care of us, showing us around in the palmeraie and calling us in advance to make sure everything was ok.
- We had to move our stay 2 days later because we couldn't arrive with the snow and he accepted without a problem.
- We had a lot of blankets to keep us warm at night
- The place and neighbourhood are really quiet and beautiful
- Good local food prepared by Abdou : breakfast and evening : soup, tagine and fruits.
Showers are in another room outside but clean
- We got a little bit surprised by the end price. On booking.com, we had to pay 200 dirhams for one night and breakfast for 2 people. Because we ate there when we arrived at night (he didn't want to tell us the price beforehand), he asked for the "demi-pension" price : 220 dirhams per person, which was more than the double. It was a really good and complete meal, probably worth the price, but as broke travellers, we hadn't anticipated it.

Simple, clean, quiet, uthentic, architecture with peaceful and relaxing olive garden in the heart of Skoura oasis. Close to the river far from any urban stress. The ovner Abdul is an amazing person and lots of bird species visit his garden. Birdwatching place.
Name from booking.com is not visible on google maps. People will love to see the name of the place on the maps when they look for it.

Amazing experience, Abdul (the host) is a wonderful man and host, he is the kindest person that we have met in Morocco. Would definitely stay there again. Expect really authentic experience.

Nice garden, excellent olives, dates and olive oil served to us from the garden
Shower setup is bad, free bikes were not available, far from city and other food options, apparent tension between host and other family members living there

Abdou, the host is a wonderful personality. We arrived very late but he waited for us. Then he gave us dinner which was made by his wife. We talked to him, asked him all our questions. He speaks French very well. He is very heartful. He cut off some pomegranates fresh from the tree when we were saying goodbye.
It was a little bit cold for us in the end of November without heating.

Abdou was very kind. He welcomed us with mint tea and many friendly songs. Abdou was excited and eager to show us around his property, village, and surrounding area. He made us a beef tajine that was absolutely amazing and used fresh herbs from the garden. Abdou loves hosting and helping his guests have a nice time. We stayed one night.
We stayed here in July. It was hot in the rooms at night and that made it a little hard to sleep. A strong fan in each room would have helped with the temperature and occasional annoying black fly.

Mr Abdou took us in and looked after us really well. He took us for a walk in the oasis and shared his iftar meal with us in the evening, as we were visiting during Ramadan. We had a really lovely time in Le Jardin des Grenadiers. One traveler's tip from us - it is better to arrive during the day because the house is located in the oasis and it's easier to reach in daytime.

A beautiful homestay with an amazing garden full of olive trees, date palms, figs, pomegranates and fava beans! Abdul is a very generous host and super entertaining person (singer and finger drummer :)! His wife's tajin was the best we have had. The breakfast with housemade olives, home presser olive oil and dates from their garden was another highlight of our trip. We felt so welcoming that was really hard to leave this piece of paradise.

So Abdul was an incredible host. The tea and food made for us was really great and the company offered by Abdul was wonderful, we received some bread and tea for free in the morning since we were leaving early. Where Abdul really shined was in helping us to get our phone back. After leaving his place and finding ourselves 3 hours closer to marrakech my girlfriend realised she'd left her phone there. We rang Abdul and he was quick to hatch a plan to get the phone back to us in marrakech the next day and got us in contact with a ctm driver who was lovely aswell. We got the phone back the next day and we were spared of a 7 hour round trip back to skoura and then marrakech. He really went above and beyond!
Only negative was that Google maps had sent us in the wrong direction and the place was a little hard to find but honestly, considering its the cheapest place in skoura it's well worth the find.
