The cabin was nice. The kitchen appliances were limited and outdated so I couldn’t cook like I wanted to. The cabin could also use more outside light to use the bonfire area and hot tub area but other than that we were satisfied and had a good time.

The home was clean and had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. The foosball table and retro arcade game was a hit.The hot tub was also great, while we tried to enjoy the pool it was a Bit cold even though we left the cover on until we were ready to swim. We still enjoyed our weekend but the pool wasn’t what we had hoped for.

The cabin was amazing! Very spacious and nice. We loved the large pool and the large kitchen table that was big enough for all 16 of us. I was a little worried it being in a resort that it wasnt gonna be very private but I was wrong it had trees all the way around it so it was still very private.

Pros: Nice cabin with great amenities. A lot of space and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway with privacy. Very large room upstairs that would hold about 10 people not including floor space. Cons: The basic structure (floors, tables, bathrooms, etc)of the cabin was very clean. However, the majority of the dishes had to be washed because it seems like they were just put away dirty. This included plates, pots, glasses, and silverware. Like some had large pieces of food in it, so it could not have been a mistake and just overlooked. The bed's comforter was a little old and you could tell it hadn't been washed. And lastly, there were wasps upstairs bedroom so we picked up wasp spray when we went out to the grocery store. Luckily, no one was sleeping in the bedroom so we just sprayed them and closed the room off. On the other hand, customer server was really nice and prompt. We called in for a locked bathroom door upstairs and a smoke detector that was low on battery and keep beeping and they sent a maintenance guy right out. This is about our 5th time vacationing with Elk Springs and never before had an issue with cleanliness. I therefore attribute this issue to a lacking cleaning crew for this cabin and really hope things are not going down for Elk Springs and I need to find another property. Nevertheless, if they give this cabin a good cleaning, Yes, I would recommend it.

The sink in the kitchen was broken and they didn't come fix it until the morning I left. The theater was not working the first night. The back porch didn't have any working lights. I have been to TN a few times but ever stayed with ELK SPRING AND I EVER WILL AGAIN. 800+ a night and this is what I got.

Cabin was great. Mostly clean (aside from mouse droppings in some drawers) and amenities were exactly as described. What wasn’t great is spending half our first night waiting outside the cabin as our 3pm check in turned into a 630pm check in. Had 11 people from 3 states coordinated to arrive at check in time only to be told it wasn’t ready. And by wasn’t ready I mean the housekeepers didn’t even show up until 4...also, bring garbage bags, soap, detergent and toilet paper as this place is supposed to sleep 17 but they only give you enough supplies for about a day, and we only had 11 people...management refused to provide additional supplies or provide a credit for late check in. You are literally at their mercy for check in. But again, the cabin is awesome and kids had a blast

Overall beautiful cabin. Great space. Great to have pool indoors. 30 mins from Gatlinburg.One room not fully cleaned when we arrived, and pool had a few bugs. Also no toilet paper in some bathrooms, so being extra just in case. TVs were missing from some of the rooms, which we didn't think much about. After we left, were told we needed to pay for missing TVs which were apparently there prior to arrival. That of course was shocking. Anyway we informed them that there were no TVs to begin with, and they did not charge us, thankfully. Next time will take pics and videos of a place right after entering.

Stayed here in May with my wife and 3 kids with their families. When we arrived the indoor pool was cloudy which maintenance told us they were working on. We were unable to use it our first day but it was cleared up by the next evening. Management reimbursed me money for that first day. We enjoyed the size of the cabin for 12 of us. Was disappointed that the nearest grocery store was 20 minutes from us since it was mentioned that we were only 8 minutes from Food City which is by Gatlinburg. The cabins that were closer to Gatlinburg were more expensive. When looking for a cabin a person needs to take that in mind if you want to be closer to the activities in the Smokey Mountains. The hot tub jets were not working on one side but we still enjoyed using it. I think maintenance needs to be a little more thorough when inspecting things before somebody checks in. Overall the family was satisfied staying here and we had a good time together.

Upon arrival, I performed a walk-thru and my findings were keypad wasnt easy to operate— the locking it back part. The lighting on the back porch was super dim; luckily I brought a flashlight. The water pressure in the kitchen was very low, the water in the bathroom would splat out and water end up all on the floor, MOUSE drippings were in the drawer in the theater room, blonde strings of hair were on towels and the pool alarm was very frustrating understand it for safety reasons but any of the guests were able to enjoy the pool- suggest a better safety system. The tv in the living room was hard to setup; wasn’t able to utilize it w/ the small instructions provided. For the amount to stay each night, I feel like the owner should put money back into the cabin for better updates. For a total of $1500, I do not think I would return to stay again. As far as customer service, it was great that texting service was available.

Everything was great about our stay. The only thing I didn't like was the staff was 2 hours behind on cleaning so we had to wait in the car for about 40 min until we could get in. When traveling with children, this makes it very difficult. The stairs also needed vacuumed, but it wasn't bad.

This was our second time using Elk Springs. We had a group of 8 and had more than enough room for everyone. Wish the pool was a little warmer as we definitely would have used it more, but overall clean, great location, and the customer service team was always helpful when we had questions.

Overall we had a great stay! Check in/check out was simple. The house was clean and the perfect size for my family. Kids loved having a private indoor pool. Only minor issue we saw was the pots/pans were very worn and not nearly big enough to cook a meal for the amount of guests the house occupies.

We had a great stay at this cabin. There was a problem with the fridge but technician was sent out promptly. We liked being away from all the traffic but close drive into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We were warned a bear crosses the property daily- it did make an appearance! Loved the movie room and pool.lots of space for everyone.

Our time at the resort was absolutely wonderful! The whole family (14 of us had such a marvelous time! The grandchildren loved the theatre room every night. They thought they were at the movies. Everyone took full advantage of the pool and hot tub every day. The cabin was very clean and the staff was always available to answer questions very promptly and very caring! The whole family took advantage of the huge kitchen table for meals and for games every evening. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it! 5 out of 5 stars!

The location was beautiful & easy to find. The accommodation had everything listed on the site. My two graduates & their guest enjoyed the pool, hot tub, games,& theater. The cabin was clean & welcoming w/ a great starter pack. The book gave great trouble shooting guides & local attraction directory. The rental company also texted multiple time through out our trip to check if we were in need of any assistant. We love the cabin & experience I would highly recommend this rental!

We absolutely loved the cabin. The layout was very family friendly and allowed for everyone, kids included, to have activities while still being together as a family. Bedrooms were spacious and there was plenty of space for family meals together. It is a good distance from stores, restaurants, etc. but we prefer the seclusion from busy areas. The resort staff was so attentive to any needs and continually sent helpful information to us.

The cabin was super spacious and beautiful, but The pool was freezing the kids could not enjoy it, the breaker kept tripping the heater because the pool had a leak that we did not know about until we were done their. We found vaccine cards from previous visitors, fake eye lashes stuck to the backside of the pillows, and dental floss picks left behind, after having our check in time delayed for their team to get our cabin ready for us. No gas for the grill and none was brought until after 10:30 at night, after asking if we could go swap it ourselfs so we could grill our steaks, we could not fix them the following day because they informed us their was a burn ban and it could not be used. The pool was the biggest let down because that was the whole point of getting a cabin was for the kids to enjoy their private pool. We paid over $3800 for 4 nights , and the pool was not fixed during our stay. Hopefully it’s fixed for the next family that decides to spend their vacation their, We will take our chances at a hotel resort for that kind of money next time.

We had a good time other then the pool not being ready for us. We didn’t get to swim in it for the first 2 days due to it being so cold. We were told a heating element went bad before we got there but the cabin was suppose to be occupied by someone else before we got there. They offered no reimbursement and the cabin wasn’t ready when we arrived for check in so we had to wait in the car for an hour before we could get in the cabin. They extended our checkout an hour but never notified us of this. The cabin was not very clean when we did get in. The fans had an inch of dust on them so I can only imagine when the last time they cleaned them. There was also dust on all of the decorations in the cabin. We made the best of our stay but the pool was very disappointing seeing as it was the whole reason we rented the cabin in the first place.
