We had an amazing time at this house. It was well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed for our week-end trip. My mom loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

This house is in the middle of Amish country. It's a short distance from the Amish country theater, Walnut Creek farm, lots of shopping in the area and lots of great Amish restaurants. This is a nice comfortable house.

We loved the location and coziness of the house! We wish the main fireplace worked and it would have been great to have a 1/2 bath in the lower level. The beds were super comfy and the amount of linens was greatly appreciated!

Location was great, and house (not a “cottage”) was clean. House needs some improvements: 1) Bannister (preferably 2/both sides on stairs to basement; 2) Front Door security; dead bold does NOT work. 3) electric outlets that work in all rooms, 3) night stands built into BOTH sides of beds; 4) Ceiling fan in living room (at least; site circulation bad. Had to use AC).

The location is great and the set up of the home was perfect for our group. However, I cannot give it a higher rating because there is definitely an ant problem. Traps are set but a lot of them are full and every day we found a lot of them in the master bathroom. The master tub had many dead ants and we found them crawling on the sink top the entire time. I had hoped that this had been cleared up since the last review I saw posted from mid April had the same concerns so it was disappointing to arrive and immediately find the ants.

This place was a perfect location with it being so close to the town of Berlin we were able to walk into town and do some shopping and exploring the interesting shops without going far! The house was clean and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. The kitchen had all the basics we needed to fix some food. It was very sufficient for our family of 6. Will definitely stay here again if we visit again’

Location was amazing, not only was it easy to get to, we were so close to many great shops, restaurants, etc. The house itself was very comfortable, and while we didnt spend a lot of time there, we easily could have! Would highly recommend this location!

Relaxing weekend getaway at a nice cottage right in the middle of Amish country. Short walk to downtown Berlin. Will absolutely be booking this place again in the near future.

We were frustrated with the ant problem. Our little one was afraid to play or walk on the floor because of all the ants. They did not get into the food, but they crawled all over the floors, bathroom counters and cabinets. I even found them on my toothbrush (YUK!).

This property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our friends getaway! It was closer to the heart of Berlin and all the shops than expected. You could even walk if you wanted. I would definitely recommend this place.

The house was very clean. The only issue was some of our family sleep downstairs but there was no heat. We went to Dollar general to buy an electric heater. Fireplaces did not work either. We will return just bring our heater.

Peaceful, relaxing - my bed very comfortable - everything was very clean. Only complaint was the jets didn't work in the tub, no board games to play & no instructions on how to operate gas fireplace on lower level so we didn't use. Otherwise the cottage was lovely & I wanted to bring that bed home with me!!

We like the size of the house. The cathedral ceiling in the living room makes it feel really big. We didn’t like that the jetted tub didn’t work. And the shower in the other bathroom didn’t work. Overall we had a great experience and loved the location of the house. It was in the heart of Amish country.

House:. Beautiful Location:. Great But, upstairs toilet was dirty. Property had a minor ant problem and carpeted steps to the basement and no hand rail. Slid down the last 4 steps on my back. Fortunate that I am just sore from the fall. Remove carpet, check risers and please install a hand rail.

The home looked exactly like the pictures! It was very clean and inviting! Berlin was within walking distance and other places we visited were just a short drive away!! We will definitely be staying again!!

The house is perfect for a getaway with family and friends. It has enough bedrooms for everyone plus a second living room in the basement. The house was very clean and the furnishings were great. It was also decorated really well. I would definitely rent this house again and probably will in the next year! I will recommend putting a handrail going into the basement and maybe changing the door to open into the upstairs. It was a little difficult to open the door on the steps.

The Cottage is very conveniently located to all the places for shopping and dining. Not a game changer …but would be nice to have a larger shaded porch or deck for evening relaxation. Recommend for anyone who loves to come to Berlin,

House was easy to get to and the perfect size. The shower head in the back bedroom leaked badly and needs replaced. Bedding was clean. But there were cobwebs in several corners.
