Stay on a safe quiet street.Excellent for families with children- and MCRD graduations!!: neighbors are friendly and helpful !6-7 family members can be very comfortable here! WHOLE HOUSE AC!!
Located a short(15 min walk) 6 blocks to 'dog beach',surfing, beaches, and downtown Ocean Beach! Close to all yet relaxing and low, key - this is a beautiful VERY LARGE place, and the street parking is easy and abundant--+AC
The wild OB parrots visit both morning and evening ( in the spring) as local wildlife- and well mannered good family dogs are welcome as a visiting wildlife!Jets do fly over most of Ocean Beach- be up early and enjoy the morning!
The house has been completely updated and offers a full AND READY TO COOK kitchen for family with new appliances. All linens ,towels and soaps are on hand for your convenience!There is a full laundry+ soap in the house. There is AIR conditioning, a fully fenced yard, a BarBQ in a side patio. Boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, toys and wagon are there for your beach play time.
Families and travelers of all variety are welcome to live at the beach here! 8- 9 PEOPLE ARE COMFORTABLE (sleeping bags welcome , too!- squeeze an extra person!) in this big house - no feeling of claustrophobia- this is not a studio or small beach house... Best beach house on VRBO!

Other than the noisy air planes flying overhead, this was a wonderful home away from home to use during a stay in San Diego. Diane had everything we needed for our stay and we had accommodations for all seven of us in our family. And Diane was extremely nice and quick to respond to messages. Definitely a great place to stay.

Classic California beach cottage, located in the fun, yet laid back neighborhood of Pacific Beach. The cottage is easy to “ live in”, as you enjoy all the fun San Diego has to offer. Great beds, ample bed and bath linens for the whole family. 2 futons, and a cozy kitchen. Cozy living room, with a big screen TV. We loved the antique dining table and chairs. Bring your family! Location, location , location… only about 15-20 minutes to Downtown San Diego. Dog friendly house, sweet, well kept yard. Enjoy it all!

Perfectly situated bungalow with easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and grocery. House had a kitchen and laundry so great setup for families, including some outdoor space. For light sleepers or folks traveling with littles, bring your hatch or use the provided box fans to drown out some of the airplane noises. We would absolutely return here on our next visit.

Our family of 9 stayed here for four days and loved it! It fit everyone comfortably and had a great backyard with a little fire pit area to roast marshmallows and barbecue. This house was close access to Sea world, the beach and much more! Our dog would have loved it if we brought her because Diane had all the things like a dog bed, crate, leash and toys and backyard for it. She also had stuff for the beach for us that we could use. Diane was fabulous to work with and made us yummy bread that was ready when we arrived. Great place and service!

We rented the property for a whole month and it had everything we needed for a great stay. Our host was excellent and very attentive to all requests. The house is perfect for our pet and is in great proximity to the dog beach. We went every day and really appreciated the dog wash in the back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and far enough from the beach area to be peaceful yet close enough to go every day. We would definitely come back again!!

Great location, excellent if you have dogs and very attentive host. Made for a perfect thanksgiving break. Ocean Beach is a lovely community, beaches and restaurants in walking distance, dog friendly and peaceful. House is a good size with nice back yard. Overall a great experience.

Easy access to airport and everything you want to do in San Diego. Plenty of restaurants nearby. House is well equipped and a cool beach house. Awesome backyard to hang out and furniture for relaxing. Great place and we’ll be back again. Yes you are near the airport so there is jet noise. We enjoyed watching the jets fly overhead so it wasn’t an issue for us

This is a darling cottage with a beautiful backyard and air-conditioning. Visiting San Diego in the summer, I wanted to be sure to have air conditioning in case it got hot--and it did while we were there in August. The back yard was a perfect spot for visiting with our son and his dog. From the front yard, we could watch the Sea World fireworks every night! And the owner lives nearby and was a non-intusive and helpful host.

The house was so perfect for my family. We also brought our two doodles. The house was so pet friendly. The owner lives close by and it was really nice to meet her. The house was great to relax in. My family and I enjoyed the yard. The sails provided shade and the fire pit helped on cool nights. My granddaughter loved the sand area. The location made getting to visit various areas of San Diego easy.

This house was exactly as described and perfect for a small family to vacation at. I loved that it was pet friendly with a cute grassy fenced in backyard so we could bring our dogs with instead of worrying about having to board them somewhere. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Parking was very limited and you are directly in the flight path of planes taking off from the airport so the noise pollution of the plane got irritating at times. With that said I’d rent here again, it was super cozy and only about a 20 minute walk from ocean beach.

This property was perfect for us in regards to location for us to attend our daughter's college graduation. We needed a pet friendly home in a quiet neighborhood and this fit the bill; you get used to the airplanes. :o) Diane was a great host and wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

This was a great place for us and our dogs as it has it all for a long stay. Close to dog beach and easy walking to all parts of OB. The house has a great backyard with beautiful new furniture and fireplace. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm. Diane was very friendly and always responsive to all out needs. She even came to give the doggies some treats! Treat yourself to a great place whether short of long term...you will not be dissapointed!!

We stayed at Diane's property for the week between Christmas and New Years with our 2 springer spaniels. It was absolutely perfect! Wonderful fully fenced back yard, beautiful house, awesome location. It's clear that Diane has put a lot of thought and work into creating a space that is perfect for families with dogs and/or kids. For us this was a local rental because we needed to move out of our house for the week to have wood floors redone. We had the space at Diane’s for both of us to work from “home” and keep our pups entertained with a safe backyard and real grass which they don’t have at home. It would be a great location for visitors and we plan to come back. - not working next time but enjoying.

We were suppose to be in Hawaii for our 25th anniversary, due to covid it just didn't happen, on top of that our dog sitter fell through and we were stuck with no where to go, long story short Diane let us bring our dogs with us to her perfect beach home with spacious back yard, if she didn't allow this our anniversary was a bust. We had the best time ever!....This home is in the perfect location within walking distance to small stores and food. The house is spacious and has everything a renter could need for a stress free vacation, from towels to coffee from beach chairs to proper scooper We wanted for nothing, she even left us yummy treats to start our vacay and midway through delivered dog treats for our pups. Diane you really thought of everything and I cannot wait to book next year, thank you for accommodating us!....
