About this apartment rental
Our remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at East Rim (Unit D-14) is located right across from Purgatory Lodge and offers the ultimate convenience in all seasons.
The condo features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and is perfect for multiple families. East Rim is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Additionally, the ski run to Lift 7 runs adjacent to the condo. This property is unique because is just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, but it offers a more private and quiet existence with views that cannot be beat in the region. You have immediate access to all the resort amenities, and fantastic value in this fully remodeled and exceptional residence.
Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are downstairs):
Master - Queen
Bedroom 2 - Queen
3rd - Bunk Bed (single over single) - Note access to the bunk room is thru the Master Bedroom
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa
There is a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs (not attached to a bedroom) as well as a washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) and a BBQ gas grill on the deck.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

A weekend getaway in the summer. Older kids and a parent. Weather did not cooperate for most of our stay. The internet was down for a day, which was hard because it was raining outside, so we could not enjoy outdoor activities on that day. But once we figured out the correct phone number to call it was fixed quickly.

We appreciated the Open living space upstairs with a balcony overlooking the learner’s slopes. We enjoyed skiing home to lunch on the balcony. The big dining table was great for home cooked meals at breakfast and at night. A very large counter was great for prepping and storage. All pots and pans were present. The dishwasher didn’t really clean anything though.The two bedrooms and bunk nook were comfy to sleep in. Both bathrooms were nice. We found the upstairs shower preferable due to the water heating up much faster, but downstairs was neat. Overall great stay!We loved the proximity to Purgatory village and the ease of getting onto and off the slopes.

Perfect. You literally can't beat this location for skiing. Ski in and out, stop in your own place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, bathroom breaks, etc. View and 2 story set-up is absolutely perfect. Has everything you could ever need.

This property was clean and tastefully decorated. All the kids had their own place to sleep, which they loved. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool, and taking advantage of some of the little shops that were on property. We would visit again if we are back in the area.

Loved this condo - first time we have truly gotten to ski-in/ski-out at Purgatory and it was so easy! Clean, plenty of space for 4 of us and our dog, first floor, just great. The kids were excited about the hot chocolate station. :) Highly recommend!

Great area, loved the updates to the unit, except kitchen to dark with lightbulbs burned out over the stove and ceiling fixture, dishwasher was horrible as it left a chalky white film all over dishes, glasses and silverware - otherwise it was well stocked- grill outside was filthy inside and out plus hard to light!! No instructions on how to work the tv in living room- also would have been helpful to have had a list of where to buy groceries?

Great unit and location- needs some TLC, kitchen was very dark with lightbulbs burned out in the ceiling and stove, grill outside was disgusting dirty and hard to light without removing the plates -
Front door gets stuck and hard to open plus lots of gaps that lets air in- dishwasher doesn’t clean but leaves a horrible white film all over the silverware and dishes- no proper dishwasher soaps available-
Communication with property management was very poor at check in, didn’t receive instructions and had to wait and called them 3 times-they used excuse that the check in email went to spam well their other earlier email thanking us for booking never went to spam!!

We had a great experience in this condo. The unit was very clean and has literally everything your heart could desire. The beds were very comfortable (too small but my wife loves our cal king to sleep as far away from me as possible haha). Excellent unit! Rent it!

Arkansas Spring Break
Sweet location! Nice and cozy all around. The space is maximized and utilized as best as it can be, but one of the beds is way too small for 2 adults. We made it work, but would have preferred not wrestle with a pull out sleeper sofa on my vacation. Overall this place is awesome, and I’m so happy I found it!
