About this house rental
Casa Pacifica Saladita is wonderful ocean front home located on the North end of La Saladita beach just 40 min North of Ziuatanejo in the state of Guerro on the Pacific side.
Our home was just completed in August of 2010. The home has 5 ocean view rooms with 5 full baths and guest closets. Two of the rooms are masters with king size beds, while the other two are equipped with queens and two twin bunk beds in each room. The downstairs bedroom has a king. The four upstairs rooms have private white water viewing decks as the downstairs has white water view!
French doors that lead out to the swimming pool and beach. Our beautiful pool is a large infinity edge pool that has 100% unobstructed view of the surf and beach. If you want to get out of the sun our large palm palapa will keep you cool while laying in our recliners over looking the pool and surf.
The house also offers a media room which includes a 37 inch flat screen tv, with DVD. We do have a ipod hookup so bring your iPod and Aux cord and enjoy our indoor/outdoor speakers.
We have a full kitchen, a full dining room with a large dinner table, a lounge area with a large couch as well. We have Air conditioners in every room of the house. Note all these areas have white water view with the exception of the media room.
The house also has a third story roof top deck for a panoramic view of the rain forest and the ocean. We have a full time caretaker named Guillermo who speaks perfect English. For just $50 a day for groups of 6 or less you can have Martina “Guillermos” wife prepare three meals a day and do your maid services. Food is not included. They can arrange to buy the food for you upon request and a service fee. For groups of 7 or more we will just add a second person at anther $50. If you are a surfer the waves get really fun out front of the house and are virtually crowd less. Some times of the year we have a cobble stone rock belt at the shore line. Advised to bring reef walkers to get across them.
There are other great spots around like “Saladita Point” a very long left that is great for long boarding or beginners that is located 5 min south of the house by car or the “Ranch” which is about a 30 min drive north which has a nice long left to it that is fun for short boarding and long boarding. The water temp is usually around 76-86 degrees year round. The house is very clean so come down to Casa Pacific Saladita and enjoy one of Mexico’s most beautiful areas. We accept Credit Cards.

The house is secluded, which is just what we wanted. That said, it is a quick drive to Saladita Beach, Troncones, and ZIH. Guillermo and his wife Martina took excellent care of us. We requested breakfast and dinner each day, and the food was out of this world at every meal. During the evening the beach cows would come by for a visit, and Guillermo's dogs and cat kept us company. Noise doesn't travel in the house, so it was perfect for 4 families with loud little kids. Rick was responsive and helpful. I can't say enough good things about out experience.

My group of friends and I (11 people) had an amazing stay at casa Pacifica! The location of the house is spectacular and the food was AMAZING! Every single meal we were in awe!!! The animals are a hoot as well.

Second time back! Stayed 2 solid weeks! Swim, surf, beach walks, eat, relax repeat! Magic! Martina and Guillermo family are amazing hosts! Martina worked around multiple food allergies! The whole crew worked tirelessly to keep everything tidy and keep us well fed! We’d grow old with them if we could.. pretty much ruined us for other vacation spots! Thank you Rick for sharing this with us.. we’ll be bummed when you decide to retire there and it’s not available anymore! Can we be friends? Haha! Thank you again! Imagine we’ll be back again when we can!

Enjoyed a relaxing stay at this lovely beach house. Property manager Guillermo and his family were wonderful. Fell in love with their two small dogs and bossy kitty cat. Plenty of room for our large party of friends and couples! Got some nice, fun, mushy, left-breaking surf at the point too.

I truly can’t say enough great things about Casa Pacifica and Guillermo and Martina and their family. The house is even nicer and larger than it looks in photos, their service was impeccable and they’re SO kind and helpful and Martina’s cooking made us never want to leave. We will absolutely be back!

We had an amazing time at Casa Pacifica! It’s the last house on the road, so it felt totally private. Not walking distance to shops or restaurants, but we were a big family all staying together so it was perfect for us. Guillermo, Martina and Sol who also live on the property, and they were happy to answer any questions we had. Martina’s food was amazing!! If you stay here, you need to try her food. She did breakfast and dinner for us almost every day and there were enough leftovers for us to fill in lunches. We had four toddlers with us and she was happy to tailor the menu to provide them with some more kid friendly options too. They handled all the grocery shopping, so we didn’t have to think of any of that stuff, maximizing our vacation and relaxation time. I don’t know how we’ll be able to travel without a personal chef now! We felt totally spoiled here. The rooms were all really big and comfortable, gorgeous views. Kitchen, dining and living room are all sort of open concept, it’s a really great space for large groups. Cleaners every day did a fantastic job. All these details made our stay feel effortless. The photos don’t do it justice! We’d definitely come back.

Our home away from home. This is one of our families favorite places to vacation. The quiet location is perfect to get away from it all. The care takers are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. We will for sure be going back here for years.

Epic Spot
Casa Pacifica Saladita is a great place for larger groups. Property manager is amazingly friendly and helpful…food was delicious every time and they were accommodating to special requests - no problemo! Great location just far enough from main Saladita residential/surf spot but a felt more private because of that. Location was good for daily missions to different surf breaks. The house was always clean and tidy. Thanks for the killer experience.!

Amazing location. Amazing food. Totally relaxing and mellow. Exactly what we wanted.
Love this place. The fresh food was delicious. My kids can be a little picky about food at times but they loved every meal and were exposed to real authentic freshly made Mexican food in a way they never have. Loved watching the pelicans fish everyday. Make sure you get directions from the Rick before you head up there from the airport. We used google maps and had quite an adventure getting there. We definitely want to go back.

Relaxing Family Getaway
We just had a great stay at Casa Pacifica Saladita. Our group was 2 families, with 4 small children. The layout of the bedrooms is perfect for two families. Upstairs is basically divided into 2 equal sides, each having a king size room & a bunk room. Downstairs has another room with queen size bed. All the rooms have great A/C for nights.
We practically lived in the pool. The large palapa produces great shade & the sloped entry made it easy to get in & out.
But honestly, despite it being a beautiful home, the caretaker and his family are what made this vacation so wonderful. Guillermo arranged everything we needed during our stay and provided interpretation for our horrible Spanish skills. His wife, Martina, is an excellent cook and hiring her for meal service is 100% recommended. Several family members helped us during our stay and they were all so kind and helpful. Their youngest daughter was so sweet and my 2 year old looked forward to playing with her everyday.
The location is a bit further from town than we would have preferred, but we had a car, so it was a quick 10 minute drive. Not the end of the world. The location did provide for plenty of space and quiet away from any crowds. Most days we were the only people for as far as you could see.
Thank you so much for he wonderful stay and treating us so well during our first visit to the area. We hope to be back soon! Hasta luego!

Casa Pacifica Saladita
Great house. Super spacious, clean and Guillermo is a fantastic host.
Highly recommend having him and Maria cook for you. Super tasty and healthy.
Surf spots are 15 to 30 min drive away.
Only downside are the bugs. If you're sensitive to noseeum or jellyfish larvae bites, you may want to reconsider.
All in all, super fun experience.

Amazing vacation
We arrived & the house was exactly what it looked like in pictures. Guillermo & Martina make the stay that much better. Martina's food is icing on the cake, I'm still craving her guacamole & fruit that tasted like candy. We had amazing family time & we are already planning our next trip. Oh & Rick was such a great host! He got right back to me on all my questions and made this trip smooth. Thanks to all of you!

Eat, Surf, Swim, Relax, Repeat
One of our best vacations yet! Came with 3 other families 8 adults and 8 children 8 mo-7 years old!! Rick was awesome to work with right up till our trip, answering all our questions and even going out of his way to help with a VRBO snafu when we modified our dates. Word of the wise... just cancel and re-book, don’t modify a reservation through VRBO. Day of arrival he set us up with a gal for car rentals when 2 in the group had rentals that fell through. Always so responsive and willing to help! Martina, Guillermo and their family were so very wonderful! Food was authentic and delicious, absolutely the best not having to worry about shopping, making meals or cleaning! Lulu and Martina worked so hard every day preparing 3 meals a day for 15 of us! 2 of us had dairy allergies and she was great about that. Her daughter Abby also did some babysitting for the 8 mo old and their youngest Sol became part of the kid gang! They all had so much fun playing together. We all loved the pool and hot tub. We all surfed several times per day right out front as well as El Rancho and Saladita.. I was so happy to have good reef shoes esp. when surfing El Rancho. We rented boards from Chucho in Saladita. The property and home are beautiful and well kept. We used the air conditioning at night and it was crucial. It was nice having the outdoor shower, hoses and surf shack to rinse and dry suits and put boards. Sky and Floracita were very sweet dogs and liked to snuggle with us. Do bring some bug spray/anti itch cream.. the little buggers are sneaky. Did a day to Las Gatas in Zihua, but there were way too many people after having the beach to ourselves at Casa Pacifica. We absolutely look forward to making it back someday! Also, if you wash your cloths, just hang dry anything other than cotton, I managed to ruin a bunch of synthetic cloths in the dryer even on the delicate setting, think it just got too hot. More my fault, but just wouldn’t want it to happen to anyone else. We’ll miss being there! It was truly an amazing vacation!

We'll be back!
Our stay at Casa Pacifica was amazing! Rick was great to work with and set everything up before we arrived. Once we got to the house, Guillermo and his wife, Martina took over and handled everything from grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, recommendations, reservations, etc. They are the sweetest family and Martina is an excellent cook! We had 16 people (including 10 kids) so waking up to a set table with breakfast being served was a treat. Great location, clean and comfortable with access to several surf spots. If you surf at Playa Saladita, to go Lourdes' for lunch, drinks and a massage. Overall great vacation!!

Amazing property and experience!
This was my third time in Saladita and I came with 9 friends. The house was beautiful in person, each room opens to the ocean and the beds are so comfortable, a little AC in each room works wonders if you’re a hot sleeper. The house is too far to walk to the main surf spot but it’s a short drive. Martina and Guierrmo are wonderful and will get you anything you need, hiring Martina to cook is 100000x worth it, she is a wonderful cook, we are all still dreaming of the mole and coconut shrimp!! Will definitely be back!

Amazing House and Vacation!
What a week! We had the best time at Casa Pacifica Saladita! We were all sad to leave and are already wanting to plan the next trip. Guillermo, Martina and their family are the best! It is so worth it to have Martina cook! Like everyone says, the food is amazing, even the kids all agreed it was the best food. The house is dreamy and worked perfect for our two families of 4 with dual master suites and guest rooms (All facing the ocean!). We got great waves each day at El Rancho and La Saladita. We were so happy we stayed at Casa Pacifica! It is a great location and loved being in a more private quiet area, with an easy short drive to the point. We really enjoyed coming back to the house and hanging by the amazing pool each day, what a great setup! Just a great place to stay! We can't wait to come back. Thanks Rick, Guillermo and Martina!!

Casa Pacifica !!!! what an epic set up for family surf trip, great waves out front easy access to the area gem point breaks. Nothing like a surfed out session followed by incredible spread of authentic local cuisine!!! Surf only second to Martina’s cooking. Guillermo handled everything handled from beer runs, airport transportation, to local knowledge of restaurants, fishing or recs for day adventures... already planning next years return trip

The perfect vacation for our family.
This was our first time in this area of Mexico and our first vacation since the pandemic. We loved everything about this trip. We were greeted with big smiles from the caretakers and felt at home right away. The property is super private and we felt like we had our own private beach. We went from pool, to ocean and even played beach volleyball. The waves went from tiny out in front to much bigger as the week went on. We did daily mid day adventures at la saladita point and had multiple family surf sessions. We always got back to the house for sunset and ended the days with home cooked meals by Martina. Yum! We can't wait to come back. Thanks Rick!!

It was the best vacation ever and I can’t say enough amazing things about the house, the care takers and the owner Rick. Two families with 5 kids - 9 enjoyable days!
Our two families had a really enjoyable 9 days at Casa Pacifica. It was the first time for all of us to come this far South in Mexico so navigating everything was an adventure! We also usually stay at resorts, so renting a house was new too. We learned a lot, figure out a lot, and everyone went home relaxed and rested!
The house is beautiful, roomy and quiet. Every room is huge and has a private bathroom so we all slept really well. Every room has a beautiful beach view as well. The amenities were perfect - including the pool, the hottub, the palapa for shade. We had the volleyball court set up and enjoyed that. We loved our walks on the beach and reading by the pool. Perfect beach for spike ball, frisbee, football. Body surfing was great fun and some of our group surfed too.
One of the huge perks of having our own house was having Martina as our chef for all three meals every day. She is a saint and her cooking is amazing. We have taste buds that gravitate towards good food & hers was off the charts! This service was 100% worth it. She works so hard!
As does Guillermo! He hooked us up for transportation from and to the airport, he shopped for us, he kept the outside beautiful and clean, he even helped our boys secure a table from someone else he knows so they could play their table game. He waded through my MANY questions I asked him before we arrived. He helped us with anything we needed.
It was lovely to come downstairs every morning and Martina would be hard at work in the kitchen with her young daughter eating breakfast. We loved that Guillermo and his family were part of our stay. They are all loving, warm, kind people.
Things we learned/wish we knew/now we know!!
- bring twice as much cash (Pesos) as you think you need - location is remote, so cabs are not cheap.
- a natural byproduct of nature: sand fleas and ants...come prepared with OFF as well as anti-itch cream.
- if you rent a car, roads can be tough...some dirt roads, big speed bumps, some potholes and destination is quite remote.
Work with Guillermo to have a clear map.
- LOVED the 3 dogs! Sky the puppy was a hit!!
- plumbing does not accept any paper at all (that goes for the surrounding cities too, not just Casa Pacifica).
- in front of the house is a massive beach pretty much to yourselves! (And maybe only 4 houses?)
- We took part in the turtle release in Troncones that happens every Sunday night. We loved it and think other families would too!

Perfect in every way
We had a group of 13 that included my husband and myself and 4 daughters with families. Each group thought that they had the best bedroom! Private baths and views of the beach for each, oh my. Listening to the ocean, a real bonus. We must have seen no more than 10 people on the beach the whole time and I'm not sure how far you have to walk before you run into civilization but we never found it and we are big walker/runners. The swimming pool and Palapa are set up perfectly. And of course the kids had a ball in the hot tub.
While we loved it all I would bet if you asked my family the best part, they would say Guillermo, Martina and their helpers. Guillermo, who was perfectly delightful, took care of our every need. Martina and he went out the first night and bought all of our food and requests. Whenever one of our group asked for something, he made sure it happened. Martina's skills and hard work in the kitchen were truly unbelievable. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but never once did we feel like we could have eaten more. And she was so good about making sure our gluten free daughter had alternatives.
Yes, we agree with all of your previous guests. It's a vacation that will top all of the rest and the dream will be to make it happen again.
Almost forgot. One daughter's boyfriend asked Rick to get flowers and a cake for our daughter on Valentine's Day. Guillermo arranged it and drove an hour and a half at least to make it happen! Yes, he really did.
A Great Big Thank you Rick, Guillermo, Martina, Elena and Maria!
Till we meet again!

Fabulous!!!
The property was fabulous! It is very peaceful as it is a ways from town with few neighbors. The beach is gorgeous - long walks and small waves to body surf or surf right from the house. The house is clean, comfortable and spacious - we easily fit 10 in the house and had meals for 16. Rooms are large and well insulated so lots of privacy. Pool and deck area beautifully designed and maintained. And since Guillermo and Martina took such good care of us (Martina's cooking is exquisite!) we barely needed to leave! A truly lovely property and fabulous experience! We plan to go back...

Third Time's a Charm
This is our group's third time staying at this house. We have loved it every time. Most importantly, the staff, Guillermo (we call him "Ray Donovan") and his family is wonderful. The food is absolutely out of this world; we will be coming back for sure!

Fantastic home, place, beach and people
Ours was a five-star vacation in every sense. The house is impeccable, laid out for social time, relaxation and privacy when you want it. The beach is beautiful, was private and nearly exclusively ours with no other people, and the waves awesome. The pool and beach-side palapa and lounges were well occupied and built for glorious R&R. And Guillermo and Martena are beautiful people, so helpful, and OMG can Martena cook. The food was better than any restaurant we visited. We could not have asked for a better vacation.

Just Returned...DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE!!
Beautiful house, beach, pool and property. TOTAL PRIVACY. First class service and AMAZING food. Fun, EMPTY, warm water waves right out front. Every bedroom with ocean views. Guillermo, Martina and crew ARE A MUST. They made this vacation just perfect in every way. Even recommending dinner at a quaint little surf town 10 minutes south of us where our kids were able to release newly hatched baby sea turtles into the ocean at sunset!! Priceless. We will be back, but not soon enough. Thank you for the great memories🌴🏄🏼♀️🐢

Tranquil getaway in Mexico
Can't say enough about Casa Pacifica- beautiful sunsets, a private beach experience and a well-equipped home that comfortably accommodates a large group looking for something different than a typical hotel stay or rental right in town. We spent our days lounging in the pool, surfing perfect waves, and exploring the area. Martina's cooking was delicious. Guillermo made sure we were well taken care of. We'll be back!
