6 couples stayed very comfortably at Casa Islita, the staff was top notch, views were amazing, proximity was perfect!

We had two families together for spring break that totaled 13 people. The house had plenty of rooms/beds for everyone. Casa Islita is a beautiful home in a well located, gated community. We always felt safe, secluded from the craziness but also close to everything. Sandra (house manager) and Andrea (concierge) were SO helpful; we got so many recommendations and reservations through their network, our weekly itinerary was perfection. We had local chefs prepare dinner a few of the nights and it was outstanding. The staff at the house, Mary Lou and Heiner, were just wonderful. The house was always immaculate and they made the most amazing breakfast every morning. Sandra, Andrea, Mary Lou & Heiner...THANK YOU! Pura Vida!

My husband and I, our two daughters and their husbands and five grandsons just spent a glorious week in Costa Rica. This house was more than perfect for us. Let me tell you about a typical day for us. The early risers would head out for a beach walk or just to explore the tide pools among the lava rock. We would come back to a fabulous breakfast spread all prepared and laid out by Mary Luz and Heiner, the house staff. We have a lot of allergies and dietary issues to be considered and they were able to make everyone happy! After breakfast, we would get in our swim suits and head to the Langosta Beach Club to play in the waves, visit with the iguanas, swim in the pool, and relax in the shade. We usually had lunch there and it was great!
When we got back to the house, it was all clean and tidy thanks to Mary Luz and Heiner. Afternoons were a time people could choose to snooze in the air conditioned bedrooms, on the hammock, or on the lounge chairs by the pool. Some would go shopping and others, would spend time in the pool.
We usually headed to Langosta Beach - just a two minute walk away to watch the sunset before dinner. We only went out to dinner twice - more often doing take out as we had such a spectacular place and view at “home”.
Andrea, our concierge arranged to have massage therapists come in one afternoon and also organized a trip out to the Monkey Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre. She also ensured we had worry free transportation from the airport and back.

First of all the pictures of the house don't do it justice! It is magnificent. The rooms are so spacious and beautifully appointed. We had twelve family members and the whole week we all had room to spread out.(ages 16 mos-69)
Andrea, our concierge, was amazing. Everything she arranged for us was perfect. We had 4 different families traveling from different directions and times and our transportation was spot on. Even when we had to divert to Nicaragua and were four hours late our ride was waiting. Andrea before, during, and after our trip was wonderful and was always pleasant. I loved hearing her voice! I can't say enough about how amazing Mary Luz and Heiner were. The breakfasts were delicious and such a treat to wake up for each morning. They kept the house spotless and left nothing undone. They are an incredible team, friendly and warm and always with a smile. I wanted to take them home with us. The pool was a hit for the grandchildren. We also enjoyed the Langesta Beach Club. They have a great lunch and the gym worked out great for everyone. You have to make appointments for the gym. Needless to say, this trip and stay at Casa Islita was perfect. Our whole family will never forget what a wonderful reunion, vacation this team put together for us. Definitely on the bucket list for a second trip! Costa Rica is a beautiful country.

Simply an incredible house, however the staff is what makes this a true luxury property. Coordination and daily support of our Concierge Manager, Andrea Hildago, was absolutely fantastic. She is amazing and her recommendations from cooking support to excursions were perfect. The house staff of Mary Lou and Heiner were exceptional. From a fabulous daily breakfast to maid service to house maintenance they were constantly appeasing my entire family. Andrea also arranged for a daily cooking team headed by Sandra…they have my highest recommendation for in house cooking option.

Not only do I highly recommend this property, but my entire group would also. You will not be disappointed. There were 14 adults in my group and the house had plenty of space for everyone. The home was beautiful and immaculate in every way, very clean. The decor inside of the house was attractive and the outdoor space was just as nice where the patio area was large enough for my group to be comfortable. We enjoyed the pool daily and the water was a nice temperature. There was also a great view of the beach, which was just a short walk/drive away. Finally, the house was in very close proximity to local restaurants, stores and shopping experiences. We rented golf carts and drove them daily to various locations.
Andrea Hidalgo was my concierge manager and she was incredible! She had many great recommendations for food, excursions and nightlife. She was very professional, yet warm and welcoming, and her detailed communication is very thorough and quick. I felt comfortable knowing that she was always just an email or phone call away. We hired breakfast and dinner cooks who were also wonderful with the service and the food.

Amazing property & staff !
17 in my group from age 2 to 65, every one of us would love to revisit the property. The house staff was extremely attentive, thorough and professional.
The morning meal preparation was perfect for the entire family and set the stage for a series of incredible adventures and excursions that were perfectly arrange by the Concierge

We had a wonderful time at Casa Islita! Andrea was terrific and handled our transportation and dinner reservations! All of her recommendations were excellent! Mary Luz and Heiner were there everyday to make us a wonderful breakfast! They were fabulous and we enjoyed having them there looking after the house and grounds! It was great!!

Our stay at Casa Islita was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences we’ve had while traveling. Our family group consisted of 8 adults and our 3 young grandchildren. The location was beautiful and the house was one of the most well equipped homes we have ever stayed in. We have stayed in a numerous houses. There were also lots of games to play and books to read and toys for the kids in the pool. The security of the house is top notch, we felt very safe. The house had plenty of room for all of us to have privacy as well and a big area for all of us to gather and the kids had a great time in the pool.
The real stars of the house are Andrea and Mauricio, the concierges, and Mary Luz and Heiner, the house staff. Andrea and Mauricio went above and beyond to help us plan outings, solve problems, change reservations, and even handle a small emergency when we left keys in the house. If not for Andrea we would not have seen turtles coming ashore to lay eggs, which has been on our bucket list for many years. The breakfasts prepared by Mary Luz and Heiner were some of the best meals we had while in Costa Rica. They also kept the house immaculate and fixed any problems, all while remaining almost invisible while they were there. Finally a shout out to Sandra the property manager who came to make sure we were not having any issues.
Thanks to all of you for your hard work and hospitality!!

I can't say enough great things about this property and staff! From the time we booked and planned out trip, our concierge Andrea was amazing. We had multiple dinners at the home with local cooks and amazing chef's, excursions, table rental, decorations for a b.day party, and transportation...everything was seamless and planned perfectly! She made everything run smoothly and ensured the best options.
The house itself is beautiful and in a perfect location. Close to Tamarindo with a quick beach walk or golf cart ride, but far enough to feel private and secluded. Its perfect for groups with the bedrooms being separated, each with their own restroom. It was up to date and well maintained. The outdoor area was perfect for hanging by the pool, yoga classes, and watching sunsets. We even had a family (or two) of monkeys come visit on our last night in the trees right in the back yard!
The house staff was also excellent! Mary Luz made amazing breakfast every morning. She and Heinar kept the house clean and helped with anything we needed to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
Our whole group keeps wishing we were back there ever since we came home. I can't wait to have the opportunity to return soon!

We had a great time in Costa Rica. Our concierge Andrea made sure all of our excursions, dinners and transportation were pre arranged making for a smooth schedule. The house staff was great Mary Louise and Heyner were very kind, cooked a great breakfast and made sure the house was in great conditions. We hope to enjoy this house again in the future.

Loved everything about this house. Andrea our concierge was extremely helpful setting everything up for us. Loved waking up every morning to an amazing fresh breakfast. Mary Luz was beautiful and a wonderful cook and house keeper. Anthony and Heiner were the best ! We can’t say enough about how this staff made our trip. The outside pool are was perfect for watching the birds and the beautiful beach. You can walk to the beach and into some restaurants. LOVED this vacation!!

Wonderful staff and beautiful property
This rental was everything we could have hoped for. This was our first visit to Costa Rica so we didn’t know what to expect. The house was perfect for our family of five older kids (age 17 -26). The most enjoyable part of the visit were Mary Luz and Heiner who prepared coffee early everyday, made fantastic breakfasts and kept the house cleaner than we could have imagined. Andrea was our concierge and arranged some great activities - some of them while we were on the vacation. Andrea always was available to answer any questions we had and was able to make the vacation our nicest ever.

Wonderful Vacation
The location was wonderful and convenient to town, especially with golf carts. We felt very safe in this community. We had 3 families with teens and had plenty of room inside and out. Having beach access with teens was also really great so they could come and go easily. The staff were so helpful and very courteous. The only downside were the other new homes nearby being built so there was construction noise during the day, but the property managers handled that in advance with us so we knew what to expect. By far the best vacation home we have rented so far and would love to come back!

Amazing!
I cannot say enough how amazing this house is and the staff! The pictures do not do it justice. The location is excellent. The staff was so kind and accommodating, they took excellent care of us the whole week. If you are looking for a place to relax and feel pampered, this is the place. We will be back!

Incredible family vacation! Beautiful property
Our family of 18 just returned from a week stay at Casa Islita. Everything about this property was fantastic, and the service was exceptional!
From the start Andrea, our concierge, was friendly, informative, and extremely responsive. She greeted us at the home and had the fridge stocked and everything set up perfectly! Throughout the week, Andrea checked in and helped us book a few different excursions. All around, she was fantastic to work with and made it easy to set up different tours and experiences.
Sandra, Dayana, and their cooking team were phenomenal!!! This trip would not have been the same without them. Each day, we had them prepare lunch and dinner for us, and the meals were spectacular. We had a wide range of meals--sushi, sandwiches, pizza, tenderloin, paella, and more! The presentation and service was nothing short of amazing!
We also want to recognize Maryluz and Heiner for their delicious breakfast and the service they provided at the property throughout the week. Each morning, we awoke to fresh coffee and a yummy spread of breakfast options. Then, they spent the rest of the morning resetting the home -- cleaning, making beds, etc...the house was sparkly clean each day! Couldn't have asked for anything better!
All around, our family of 18 (8 adults and 10 kids--all under 9) had a trip of a lifetime at Casa Islita!!! The views, the beaches, the services, and the food were lovely! THANK YOU to everyone for your hospitality! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are grateful for our Costa Rican adventures!

Amazing vacation home
We had a great experience at this villa.
The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Our concierge Andrea Hidalgo was absolutely fantastic. She assisted with a very last minute excursion and even made herself available on her day off. She had great recommendations and was very helpful. I highly recommend this villa

Fantastic home in Tamarindo
This property is better than advertised. We had a group of 10 adults traveling for a long weekend. The home is incredibly spacious and the layout if fantastic. The large kitchen and large living room were great. The pool area if beautiful with plenty of areas to sit and lounge. The natural area beyond the pool is great for playing games and watching the sunset. There is a short walkway leading from the property to the beach. While the walk to Tamarindo is very easy, it was nice having golf carts.
The house is fantastic but Andrea and the staff are even better. Having a wonderful breakfast prepared every morning was a nice treat. Andrea was very helpful in coordinating our airport transfers, boating excursion, dinner reservations, and ATV tour. There didn't seem to be a request that she couldn't handle.
Thank for making the trip so easy.

Wonderful vacation
We stayed at this beautiful villa for one week and did NOT want to leave. The villa is perfect. The location is magnificent. The view of the beach from the villa was so peaceful. We LOVED the pool. My 88yr old mother enjoyed getting into the pool everyday. THAT made us all very happy. The staff were lovely and warm and we loved every meal they provided for us. Andrea and Sandra were awesome and very helpful. I look forward to coming back some day.

Great vacation home!
The property was as beautiful as listed: a very comfortable and impeccably furnished home with great views of the bay. The staff were amazing and incredibly polite and friendly. The dinners were exquisite, fresh from fishing vessels that came in daily and the preparation of breakfast/brunch was delicious. Andrea was so gracious in getting us situated, first at the Langosta Beach Club (we arrived too early and they were still preparing the house for us) and then getting us (and our luggage) to the house once it was ready. She also promptly took care of scheduling all of the activities we were interested in. This was a perfect place for us to recharge after a year of being restricted from any travel. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay memorable.

Our stay was lovely - the few minor issues we had were resolved straight away by the staff who were very efficient and helpful!
We will definitely come back - this is probably one of the best houses in Playa Langosta with amazing an location and view.
Thanks for a very nice break!

Casa Islita was great
The property was well equipped and beautiful, but the real treat was the staff. Having a cooked breakfast every day was wonderful. The house was kept spotless.
For evening meals, Sandra provided a variety of menus, and each as delicious.
Andrea was available to assist with any activities.
The Beach Club added to the convenience.
Great place for a large family to play.

Amazing Casa Islita!
This house is absolutely beautiful. The photos on-line are great, but the house actually looks bigger and even more stunning in person. There is plenty of areas for families to gather together, but also space for private quiet time. The outdoor area was perfect, and where we spent much of our time. Breakfast was included and prepared fresh each morning. It always included eggs, rice and beans, wonderful fresh fruit, fried cheese, coffee and juice. Then there was also either pancakes, french toast, or muffins. The weather was in the low 90's so it was great to wake up to a delicious breakfast and take it out to eat on the covered patio and enjoy the beautiful view!
The pool and hot tub were not heated, but we still found them enjoyable. The house also has membership to the Langosta beach club--a 5-10 minute walk down the beach, or quick golf cart ride. The beach there is nice for swimming, and the club has a very nice pool, cabanas and poolside food and drinks for purchase. It was very nice--but it's hard to beat the private pool at the house!
Andrea, the house concierge, was so kind and helpful. She helped us before the trip as well as every day we were there--arranging golf cart rental, transportation and recommendations for tours. She made the trip so much easier to coordinate things to do with our group. She also picked up some grocery items for us so we had snacks available when we arrived our first evening--she even made us home made salsa--which was fantastic!! Andrea was amazingly helpful and so kind.
Casa Islita has a staff of 3 that arrive each morning and prepare breakfast and keep the house and grounds spotless.
The town of Tamarindo is a short golf cart ride and has lot of nice shops and restaurants

Beyond Amazing!!
Booking Casa Islita with Brian King was easy breezy!! The home was so beautiful, but comfortable as well. The spacious outdoor seating, the long accommodating dining room table and comfy sectional for watching TV suited our family well. The setting with the spectacular water view was amazing! We loved the hammocks!! The location was perfect! We could walk to town on the beach or drive the golf carts we rented. We were able to use the fitness center next door at the Langosta Beach Club. A bunch of us took surfing lessons from here and we also had a great dinner at their restaurant. Sandra, the property manager does a great job making sure the house is in tip top shape and is there for you pronto if you need anything. The house staff, Angie, Heiner and Darlyn made us breakfast every morning; they always had the coffee on early for us early risers. They did an excellent job of cleaning the house as we were out back in the pool ( the grandkids LOVED the pool) or down on the beach. Even if we were in the house during their cleaning, they were so respectful and unobtrusive; genuinely sweet people! Andrea, our concierge, was so helpful guiding us to choose the tours that suited our family. The Mega Tour and Serendipity private Sunset Tour were favorites! Andrea also lined up cooks, Sandra and Carol to cook us dinner in a few nights.....what a treat! The traditional Costa Rica dinner on our arrival day was a special welcome! Our family can’t stop raving about this place and the special memories that were made here!

Casa Islita exceeded expectations!
Many thanks to Andrea and her team for the beautiful stay. The location is perfect, with just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Our group of 5 couples really enjoyed access to the Langosta Beach Club and surf lessons with Nico, which Andrea arranged for us! We went back to rent surfboards and enjoy the complimentary lawn chairs. A few other reviews mention that the beach in front of the house is not sandy. That is true. It's rocky with some great tide pools, and access to public sandy beaches in either direction. Now that I have been there, I don't understand how this would be a consideration.
There is a beautiful yard with trees, hammocks, two oversized picnic tables and a volleyball net. The pool is amazing with plenty of room to swim laps. The hot tub is not heated, but we never found it necessary as it was so warm for our stay (first week of November). We were in the pool every day, multiple times a day. It was gorgeous! There's a beautiful view of the ocean from the patio and rear yard. Perfect for pictures!
The home is beautifully appointed. We all took lots of pictures of all the details, so we can go home and copy the amenities. :) Breakfast each morning is a treat, along with having our rooms cleaned and beds made. Everything was very well cared for.
We also had the chef (Susan) make us fish tacos and ceviche for our first night. We enjoyed leftovers for a few days. Although dinner was great, the best part was dessert! We had passion fruit cheesecake and mango custards. Simply amazing! It was the best thing we ate all week. Susan even taught us how to make a bean dip, Costa Rican style!
We didn't want to leave Casa Islita! It was such a dreamy vacation. Thank you! Now I'm trying to figure out how we can go back. Thank you again, Andraa and team! We loved our stay!

wonderful place for a family vacation!
Casa Islita was a perfect house for our family of 13 to enjoy a week together. It is beautiful and very clean and well kept!! We was very appreciative of all the staff who made our stay very special.
Andrea Hidalgo, the concierge, was most helpful beforehand in helping us plan transportation, excursions, giving us advice and answering the many questions we had. She was at the house to greet us and deliver our lunch. Both she and the property manager were very responsive to any concerns we had and they were quickly taken care of. We enjoyed the breakfasts prepared by Angie and her sous chef. They also kept the house clean and functioning well. We hired Sandra to cook several dinners which were delicious!
The outdoor living space and pool were wonderful and it was an easy walk to the beach. We took advantage of the Beach Club as well! A golf cart was the only transportation we needed...used to run to town for food and souvenir shopping and dinner on occasion.
We highly recommend this property for a group gathering!!

We didn’t want to leave
Beautiful experience at Casa Islita, we didn’t want to leave! Perfect for our three families. The house is open concept, one-level, indoor / outdoor living. We used a lot of the amenities, including spa treatments, Cook Sandra, and a private Charter sailboat that Andrea helped coordinate from start to finish. It was white glove service from the moment we booked the house to our departure back to the airport. Highly recommend. We will be back.

We had a great stay at Casa Islita in Tamarindo! The house has a great layout and was very clean and spacious. Having the pool was so nice and the view overlooking the beach was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, fantastic staff.
Our large extended family of 18 people had no problems fitting into this beautiful house. We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning and the lovely breakfasts that we’re prepared for us. The pool, covered verandah and BBQ area were our favorite places to hang out and relax. The ocean view was amazing with just a short walk down to the beach. A golf cart to get back and forth to town is recommended and made it easy to shuttle kids to town. It is an easy walk around the point to catch the sunset and there were of tide pools to explore. We did various different tours and activities with many of the companies picking us up right at the house. We used the cook, Sandra, several nights to prepare meals for us. She even used the fish we caught one of the nights.
A great place to stay and enjoy a bit of luxury!

Impressive house
We rented this property to celebrate a few big birthdays! The house was incredible from the moment we walked through the front door. The house was even better than the pictures. Andrea was there to help us get settled and recommended some great restaurants in town. Stephanie cooked us amazing breakfasts and made sure that the house was spotless. The house was roomy and tastefully done. We loved hanging out by the pool and patio area. Sandra was also available to answer our questions. We are all trying to figure out when we can get back! What an amazing house.

Perfect villa and location for our family holiday
The villa is so close to Tamarindo and yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Our family of 13 fit with ease into this wonderful villa which looks exactly like the pictures. The concierage (Andrea) goes well beyond to make anything happen for you and was a wealth of knowledge on anything we wanted to know not only before arrival but also while we were there. This is definitely a no fuss holiday and a wonderful place to base yourself while exploring Costa Rica.

Amazing Family Vacation
Our family of 8 adults and 6 grandchildren ages 10-2 stayed for a week. Very comfortable home fully equipped with all your necessities. Every morning staff arrived bright and early and cooked us a Costa Rican breakfast and cleaned the home and maintained the pool area. Loved Tamarindo. Rented golf carts and went into town and the beach everyday. The house does not have direct access to the beach, you have to walk down and path and the beach is really not that swimmable. That was abit of a disappointment, Other than that this house I would rate a 9 out of 10. We hired the Chef Frank who was recommended to us. We used him two nights and he prepared amazing meals. One night we have 26 people for dinner and he served one of the most incredible dinners that I have eaten in a while. He was so pleasant and almost made it look easy. Would highly recommend this house if you are travelling with a large group or if you wanted a destination wedding.
