Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.
There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.
Come relax on the spacious 8th floor balcony with great views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access! There are two full beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture, granite countertops, and new cabinetry. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!
We also have a 3br unit on the same floor should you need more room.
Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $60 per vehicle.

Upon arrival, there was already lots of sand on the floor. I get we are at the beach, but it was excessive. Also, the plugs along the far right wall in the condo did not work at all. Hair dryer did not work in primary bathroom. Hole in the wall behind the entrance door that a repair had not even been attempted. Overall, I did not feel like the condo was in the cleanest condition when arriving. Pictures were very deceiving.

Unbeatable location next door to Flora-Bama. However, while the location earns top marks, there are certain aspects of the condo itself that warrant attention. Several items within the condo are broken, from a crockpot to a malfunctioning toaster, to only half of pretty much every single outlet not working, the dishwasher falling apart, and the bathtub drains being clogged, resulting in the peculiar experience of taking a shower and a bath simultaneously. It is clear that some aspects of the property are in need of maintenance. Additionally, the broken crockpot was particularly frustrating as we had purchased ingredients and prepared a meal, only to find out upon attempting to use the crockpot that it was broken. While these issues didn't entirely overshadow our stay, they did detract from the overall experience.Despite these drawbacks, it's worth noting that the condo was relatively clean upon our arrival, ensuring a comfortable environment for our stay. The beds were cozy, and the living area provided ample space for relaxation.In summary, this vacation condo offers a prime location that undoubtedly serves as its strongest selling point. However, potential guests should be aware of the maintenance issues that may impact their overall satisfaction. With some attention to these areas, this condo has the potential to shine even brighter and provide guests with an unforgettable vacation experience.

Clean and had all we needed. Plastic shower curtains need to be replaced has mold of them. Right next door to flora Bama so that was nice. Need not like that we had to pay to park our car and pay for beach chairs.

Great location, quiet and comfy! The unit needs a little TLC. A lot of the cookware was very worn, my hairdryer didn’t work, the bathroom sink and tub drained very slow, the shower liner was mildewed and missing rings. The washer was the loudest washer I have ever heard and the lamp by the bed did not work (yes I checked the bulb), but I know those are doable things. Overall it was ok, but when you spend money to stay you kind of would like a little care into some of these things. Generally it needs a good updating. It wouldn’t take much to make this top notch.

The condo location was perfect. Unit was clean when we arrived, all staff on property very nice! Ocean view was amazing-we saw dolphins from the deck. Only downside was the condo needed a little TLC. DVD player broken, one outlet didn’t work, hair dryer in master bath turned on but didn’t blow any air-smelled like electrical. Informed property manager but never heard back. The coffee pot needs replacing as well as the rusty paper towel holder and moldy master bath shower curtain. Even with all of this, still a nice stay.

The area was good, the room was very very dirty, we spent half a day cleaning,the master bed was terrible, we traveled with friends that stayed in a Brett Robinson room, if they needed towels , blankets, they went to front desk, they also got to check in early, we asked before hand and never received a answer from someone named Charlie, front desk wasn't to fond of him either. If and when we and our family and friends go back it won't be through this so called Charles, or what ever he calls himself.

This condo was perfect for us. The balcony was great. The bed was comfortable. It had plenty of space. Our only complaint is that maintenance just walked in one day to change an air filter. The door bell is broken and the back bedrooms tub doesn't drain well. Also, check in is a bit late in the day. Other than that the staff was friendly and the amenities at the condo were terrific. The pool was nice, several hot tubs, and great beach access. If you like music you can here Flora Bama music playing without even going there. We will return!
Only reason for 4 stars is bc of the above mentioned issues.

The location of this property and the outdoor areas were wonderful.. we loved being in this area... however... this condo needed to be cleaned badly... there was food (popcorn and loose candy) underneath the sofas and the tv stand...the shower curtain was molded and not weighted so it wanted to cling to your body while you showered...there was an old bar of soap in the shower so I feel it was never cleaned...this property would’ve been a great experience had it been clean...we just cleaned ourselves and made the best of it...I would recommend if it was deep cleaned...

The condo was very nice the only issue I had was the master bath. It looked like it had not been cleaned. There were stains on the floor near the toilet. I actually cleaned it before we used it because I was not comfortable. The shower curtain also had mildew stains all over it. The balcony also had empty beer cans all over that my son found. I do not fault the owner at all that was cleaning companies fault

This location is super convenient. I am a fan of the complex and have stayed many times before. This unit is in need of some upgrading. The appliances are old and some of the tile floor is broken and cracking. The hot water does not last for very long. Regarding the cleanliness, when we came in there was a vacuum in the middle of the floor as if they left mid clean. There were no towels hung in either bathroom and we had to find those. The counter tops and table were sandy and had not been wiped down. The pantry door was sticky to the touch. The master bath toilet runs continually as well.

Phoenix X has always been a favorite vacation spot for our group of family and friends. We usually occupy 5 units. Our unit 815 was perfect!!! So very clean and the unit is decorated so beautifully. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely rent it again next year!!

Great place!! Right next to Florabama! Overlooking the beach! Absolutely amazing! Wasn’t too happy with the late check-in and early check-out. After checking in, the place wasn’t cleaned great and there was coffee still in the pot. Also would prefer that the owners did the premium towel service. All that said, we would stay here again!

I love this location and have stayed in four diff condos on this property. With a little polish this one could be a diamond. It has so much of what’s needed in a condo.
I’d stay here again but it’s the little things that could use a little love that need to be attended to before I’d book again.

We stayed during “off season”. The condo was mostly clean. If you’re someone who is a neat freak or can’t stand dust or sand, you’ll be disappointed. Overall everything was put together. We had a few dishes that needed to be rewashed. The floors are tile so I gave the benefit of the doubt on how well they could clean them. The Wi-Fi was lagging but they also had servicing during our stay so that may be why. The complex is located right next to Flora-Bama which was nice. The beach was beautiful and it was easy to access. The indoor pool was warm. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back!

Some minor issues such as light not working, hole in the wall (they haven't had time to fix due to bookings), cookware could use an upgrade (skillets were terrible) UT overall this is a great unit, perfect location, would highly recommend it for location, comfort level, etc

Checking went smoothly and we were able to get checked in a little early. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the condo. The minimum expectation is it is clean especially when you pay extra for that service. I expect some sand on the floors it’s a beach condo after all-that was not it. Food wrappers underneath and behind dressers and night stands. The ac filters were so dirty the main vent in the living area had blown black/grey dust all over the ceiling which you cannot see in the photos. The DVD player was broke and clicking when we arrived-which if you stay on the couch you would hear all night long. The decorative bedding on every bed is in need of a wash with stains and makeup on both bedrooms bedding. One beds sheets had a sunscreen stain on it that we waxed ourselves. There is a hole in the wall in the hallway that has not been fixed. The washer and dryer area is so dark it’s hard to see what your doing without a flashlight. There’s no’s screen on the sliding door. This unit is in desperate need of a deep clean, paint and repair. Everyone in our group of 11 families said the same thing about all the units- NOT CLEAN! We’ve stayed at many Phoenix properties all were great we will not stay at Phoenix X again.

Why I’m giving it a bad review
It would have been a beautiful condo. But, when we first arrived to the condo there was broken items on the counter and a hole in the wall behind the entry door. There was sand covering on the floors. I swept it up and we headed to the beach. When we got back we wanted to get a shower but when getting in them, there were shaving items from the previous guests, hair stuck to the walls, mold on the shower curtain, soap scum on the floor in the master bathroom. When pulling the master bedroom cover s down on the bed, the bed had very obviously been slept in before. Someone else’s hair was all over in the bed and it didn’t smell clean. The guest bathroom shower had hair on the wall and trash as well. The condo says that the condo sleeps up to nine people. They had extra pillows in one closet, but no pillow cases or extra bedding for the pullout sleeper…. So, I messaged and emailed the place that the front desk workers told me to at the front desk, and received no responses back. If I would have actually got a response it might of been better. Of course we didn’t find any cleaning supplies so we had to go to the store to get some because we weren’t comfortable showering in filthy showers. After staying for a couple days we noticed more and more stuff. The post says newly remodeled but it’s not. Patched over holes, water stains in the ceiling in the master bath. All the door trims and floors near the walls were filthy. Had to keep shoes on the whole time because the floor turned our feet black within minutes after showering. Desperately needs a deep cleaning. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for 9 people for 5 days and one roll of paper towels. Most all of the dishes were filthy and needed washed, broken dishes and utensils. One roll of paper towels. Needs to be stocked to uphold the amount of guests they says the condo can hold. The beach views and location is absolutely amazing. But, we will never go back to this condo. My other family stayed in another condo on floor two and it was absolutely perfect, roomy, spotless and half the cost with all necessities and more living room.
Please reconsider when looking to rent a condo for this location, as there are many better choices.
