About this bed and breakfast
Your 400 square foot suite is separate from the main house and offers you your own private entrance, a private en-suite bathroom w/shower. It includes a basket of complimentary fine toiletries, lush towels and fresh linens. A super comfortable and luxurious King-size bed, a comfy futon/sofa, a table, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker, a microwave, a refrigerator, (stocked with complimentary bottled water, soda and juice)Toaster, kettle,cups, plates and silverware, a beautiful writing desk, Cable TV, central air, FREE Wi-Fi, and plenty of FREE street parking right by the house, are all included in your room rate!

We had a very comfortable stay with everything we needed. Ronit, our host, greeted us warmly and gave us a special welcome. She pays a lot of attention to detail and makes sure the guest area has everything we needed. We slept great, took a dip in the pool, and enjoyed wonderful breakfasts and conversations. <3

This is a jewel of a property, exceeded only by the friendliness and attentiveness of my most excellent hosts, Ronit and Pini, and Dog Ash of course.
The setting, the service, the breakfasts and the accomodations are all superlative! I travel to Los Angeles often, but I'll say, I'm done looking for any other place to stay if the "Life is Good" B&B is available for my future trips.
There are so many excellent reviews of these accomodations, and they are very well deserved.
So let me just heap on more praise and say thank you to my wonderful hosts for making a very special trip all the more special and enjoyable.

This is a MUST do again property. 1st, the hosts are awesome!! Ash (beautiful dog) is so sweet.. Ronit's breakfast is The best! The backyard is AWESOME, the flowers, the pool.. the room is cozy, the bed is comfy and the AC kicks.. one of the best properties we've visited and hands down best hosts.

We loved staying with Ronit and Pini, who are marvelous hosts and friendly, interesting, loving people. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome in so many ways.
In the evening we were given a menu card so that we could customize the next day’s breakfast, which Ronit cooked for us. We were treated to fresh coffee, expresso, tea, orange juice, eggs cooked as you like them, muffins, croissants, scones, real butter and jams, bacon, cheeses, fresh cut fruit and a chopped Mediterranean salad.
When you enter the property you walk through a courtyard with flowers and an orange tree before entering your room. Inside the room there were various drinks in the refrigerator, coffee K cups, a coffeemaker, and fast wifi.
The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was quite comfortable. There is a step in the bedroom to be mindful of. A sliding glass door opens to a fenced-in area with a beautiful pool and a large picnic table with an umbrella.
The property is located on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood near the intersection of Highway 405 and 101 in Sherman Oaks. We did not hear street noise. This is a great location where you have quick access to The Getty Center, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon, and Universal Studios. There is also a Whole Foods and a Costco nearby.
We are so fortunate to get to know Ronit and Pini. They are the best hosts you could have, and we hope to come back and stay with them again!

Ronit was a wonderful hostess. Her B&B was welcoming, clean, and centrally located to all our LA destinations. Breakfast was delicious (especially the French toast), our teen loved the pool, and Ash was an added bonus. We could not be happier. This B&B definitely lives up to its “Life is Good” name.

My husband and I came to Los Angeles to visit my daughter. I found this cute place 10 minutes from them. I felt safe in the area of Sherman Oaks. Ronit and Pini (and their dog, Ash), made us feel very welcome! Ronit goes above and beyond with beautiful breakfasts each day! We felt spoiled. The studio bnb is a little snug, but room for two. It has a small bathroom with shower. A very comfortable bed made our nights restful. Its too cold this time of year, but a pool is available if weather permits it. We did enjoy some time by the pool for R&R. We visited The Japanese Gardens, The Getty Museum, Griffith Planetarium, and a Science museum. A very reasonable, and comfortable place to stay!

We had an excellent stay at this B&B! The location for us was perfect. Ronit greeted us with a big hug, showed us around the room, and told us all about the property, their history of the B&B and how it started. They are a lovely couple that really care about their guests. The food was amazing, and Pini surprised us with some of his specialties that weren't on the daily menu! Ash greeted us every morning and escorted us to the dining room. There was ample street parking, which was very nice, as parking in L.A. can sometimes be difficult. We were very comfortable here, and will be back.

Life Is Good and I couldn’t have chosen a better “home away from home” for my trip to Los Angeles. The property was clean and safe!
The bed was comfortable and I slept so well. The shower has plenty of water pressure and toiletries are provided.
Breakfast every morning sitting by the pool was heavenly! Ronit made a wonderful breakfast each morning with plenty of options to choose from, just be sure to “place your order” the night before.
Parking was a cinch! Plenty of parking and no need to move your car for street sweeping.
Costco and Target are close by for your shopping needs. Easy access to the Freeway, or taking the surface streets is convenient too.
I will be staying at Life Is Good B&B when I return for my next visit to Los Angeles.

AMAZING!! We couldn’t have wished for a better place - the property is lovely, nestled in an oasis of calm. All the thoughtful touches in the room add a feeling of staying in a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was just superb- there was such a choice & everything was delicious ( you absolutely must try the specials) It was so lovely to be greeted by the gorgeous Ash each morning & we chose to eat outside by the pool - a gorgeous setting. I simply cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much Ronit & Pini for your amazing hospitality, we had a wonderful stay. ( the property is very easy to get to from the airport & the host supplies directions )

This is a beautiful, cozy proper that almost makes you feel like you’ve escaped the city. The owners were super friendly and made the stay very comfortable. My daughter and I had busy days planned out and about in the city but we both wished we had planned more time to just relax on the property. Definitely will trying to reserve with them again on future visits to the area!

We had a wonderful stay in this B&B! The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous [don't miss the French toast!]. The bed is comfy, the linens and towels very nice, and the unit is very clean. Ash, the resident Husky, is very friendly and talkative [in a canine way]! Our hosts were so friendly it felt like visiting long-lost relatives. My impression was, with a B&B like this, who would stay in a hotel? We will definitely be back!

Ronit and Ash are the sweetest and the property is so cute! The garden was so full of greenery, the pool was serene and the lighting at night was so romantic. It felt very private. The smell of jasmine in the air was beautiful. It was like a little piece of paradise all to myself. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect, from the anniversary card and chocolate left by the host to the great breakfasts provided. The pool and yard was a relaxing getaway from the hustle a LA traffic. We will definitely be back.

Contact is great with host. Easy access in & out at your convenience. Great homemade breakfast. The cleanliness was poor. From the driveway of the home back to the entrance of our sweet. Pool was dirty. The suite was clearly not freshened up by wiping down the bathroom or tables. Fridge had old pops from previous guests and also dirty.

The visit was comforting sand safe, with the added bonus of breakfast on the patio! The bed was divine and the little kitchen offered the comforts of home. (The only suggestion is to upgrade the decor, it seems worn.) Anyone staying will enjoy their visit.

Ronit is a lovely woman who caters to your stay. She is flexible, responsive and delightful. The accomodations were as expected. Linens i was a little concerned abouy a prior review with cigar smoke, but that was a problem. The use of air fresheners was easily remedied upon my arrival and the remaining days of my trip were very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our time at Life Is Good. It was a great neighborhood that allowed us to explore LA from a central spot. Ronits breakfasts were sooo good and never disappointed us. Great value for the area - our only concern was we could smell cigar smoke so if you're sensitive to that it's good to know.
