It was a bedroom in her house. She waited up until 1am for us. Great breakfast and fruit bowl
She doesn’t take credit cards or foreign cash

The lovely old lady who took care of me is amazing. Extremely pleasant person who doesn't speak English much but compensate with warmth that many property owners should learn from.
For the money and location near the airport it's a no brainer.
The lady does not response much via booking but if you are suppose to come she'll be there.
The check in said till 9 pm. I arrived after 10 30pm and she was waiting for me.

Great location in a safe/quiet neighbourhood very close to the airport. We had a spare afternoon so walk into the Alajuela town centre which has a lot of history.
Breakfast was superb. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast and as much Costa Rican coffee as you like.
Rooms were a good size and shower was hot and had good power.

Flight was delayed, host got up at 02:30 to let me in.
It was great

Excellent location close to the airport (taxi fare is about $10) but in a quiet neighborhood.
The windows don’t have mosquito screens, so you either sleep with the window closed or you accept the little buggers. Also my shower did not have a separation or curtain so the water gets all over the bathroom floor when showering.

1.5 miles to SJO. A private home.
No AC or ceiling fan. No bar soap and pump soap dispenser was broken. No place really for toiletries in or out of the shower.

The staff were kind and very helpful, even though i could speak very little Spanish. Strongly recommend a stay here either on arrival or departure from San Jose.

Very clean. The owner/operater is a very nice lady and makes a delicious breakfast. Comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Property is located in a quiet area. Only 15 minutes from the airport. Thank you for the wonderful time here. Looking forward to my next visit.
There was nothing that I did not like. I was happy with everything. The place is kept spotless. I will come back.
