We had the best time at the Phzama Farm. Katja is so lovely and helped us with any request we had. We felt very welcome during our stay, as soon as you are on there property you feel so relaxed and can enjoy the beautiful area.
There are only a view Chalets on the properties so it gives a lot of privacy to everyone. Pool, Restaurant and Bar could be used on the Farm next door which was a nice add on.

Tented accommodation at a very quiet location. We particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere and the privacy. Other tents are far away and we had the feeling of being part of nature
Tent was clean and fully equipped for self service
Wifi worked well, but not in the accommodation itself. You have to walk some 100 meters to the viewing deck for internet access.
Nothing important to mention

Very peaceful, and a great place to relax.

The location was very quiet and private. The stay was peaceful and allowed us to relax and recharge.
The farm is a little drive from town and a 4x4 is needed. Kids enjoyed the drive though.

What a surprise to have our best indoor accommodation experience after a month travelling around Botswana in our last two days when we were simply waiting for our PCR-test results and resting before a long way home! This place does not actually fit the term farm from our point of view. This is a grassy property with a nice forested area where there are three cabins for guests and the owners' house. Everything is located in a way that you feel full privacy. Our cabin/chalet called Mia had a fantastic view over a pan which has water after rains but during our stay it was just a nice vast grassland. The cabin itself is under the trees and large part of walls are made of mosquito net. As a result, even in the heat of the day it was less hot in the cabin than in any other indoor accommodation in Botswana we stayed. The cabin had a little terrace and also outdoor table with bench, so we always had our meals outside. From the cabin we took lovely walks along the path connecting all three cabins. There are plenty of birds around and at night we saw a bushbaby using a torch. Also we saw a duiker in the morning right by one of the cabins. At night we slept as babies enjoying the sound of crickets and other night creatures. Well, this place is not for a focused game viewing but here you have a rare opportunity to walk instead of driving and enjoy the African nature in a very relaxed way. As there is everything in the cabin including gas stove and fridge you can live there fully independently. This gives you a feeling that you actually LIVE in Botswana and not just travelling. This place was great romantic experience for us as a couple but I imagine coming with kids would be very nice and convenient. Actually, at Phazama you get unbeatable combination of remoteness and comfort. This is a great place to start the journey through the country and rest after long flights from home or to have some time to relax already after the incredible but tiring time of game watching.
It was just perfect. The only little suggestion is to add a fan for the super hot days. Some of them (small ones) actually do not need much power (not more than a fridge and we personally would prefer fan over the fridge).

Out in the open, Far away from the city of Maun. Be prepared for a rough ride to get here, but its absolutely worth it.
Hosts are super kind,

The warm hearty feeling I got when I arrived at the farm carried thru till we said our goodbyes, peace and tranquillity resonates in the air with the back track of African safari sounds. The hosts are friendly and gave the farm a homely finish.
Thank you for the experience

The bush location was just what we expected and was unique. There were also elephants on the property during the night. Accommodation was newly constructed and appropriate for the setting. Peter and Katja were great hosts.
