This oceanfront home on the south end of Pawleys Island features six bedrooms and five bathrooms. This is the first house on the south end that fronts both the ocean and the creek. The downstairs features fresh paint, new living room furniture, an open kitchen and dining area, and plenty of views of the ocean. Bedding accommodations on the first floor 4 bedrooms are two kings and 2 queens. There are 2 additional bedrooms upstairs with one having 2 queens and the other room, one daybed with trundle. Additional amenities Include seven TVs, three DVD players, wireless Internet, stereo, ceiling fans throughout the home, both screened and unscreened porches, new rocking chairs, outside shower, washer/dryer, and covered parking.

We loved Hiller Villa! It was the perfect layout for four adult couples and five small children. It is a major perk for each of the downstairs bedrooms to have their own bathroom. My only suggestion would be to keep upgrading each bedroom from a queen to a king. It would be amazing for all couples to have a king. We truly loved it all and will be back!!

This was a great house for families!! The location was good! Plenty of space for our kids and grandkids! Washer and dryer were such a help. The only thing I was disappointed with was I thought the house came with creek access and a dock and it did not. The view online made it seem like it had a dock but the dock online was not for this house. Otherwise this was a great vacation house!!!

This was our first visit to this area and we were guessing exact where we wanted to be situated. This house is at the beginning of the southern end of the island which has the beach to the east and the marsh to the west. It has no marsh access but we didn’t miss it. The space is well laid out with a nice enclosed sun porch and small deck in rear (with seating) for nice days. Plenty of bedrooms for guests if needed and dog-friendly. We enjoyed the ceiling fans, king bed, laundry, convenience to Rte 17 and resources, lack of crowds in February/March, sheltered parking, clean spacious beach and very responsive Tidelife staff. This is an older home and a well-loved family beach house with the typical decor and furnishings. The bathrooms and kitchen are commensurate but quite serviceable. If you are looking for a sleek modern contemporary property this may not be for you, but we were content.

This is the 1st time to come to Pawley’s this late in the year, we came to catch the grand kids on fall break. Had a chance to build several sand creatures. There was a cold front I’m told is very unusual but it was cold for day or two. The house has newly painted and upkeep is good as well. Also the neighbors!

This is our 5th year to stay at Hiller Villa and we have enjoyed each year here. Pawleys is a special place for our family and this rental property is perfect for our needs. A very comfortable home, beautiful but not too fancy-in my opinion a beach house should not be so fancy that a person can’t relax- but has all the amenities we are looking for. Thank you for adding more rocking chairs this year. Rocking is an important part of our vacation! We hope to stay here for the indefinite future. The upstairs is great for children and they like having their own space. So do their parents and grandparents!

We were disappointed that there was no grill and the stove and oven were not in good shape. The stairs outside need work, and many small inside things need work—door knobs, light fixtures, etc. The house and screened-in porch need attention. The view was perfect, but the chairs could have been in better shape.

Hiller Villa is a wonderful house. It is large and comfy with plenty of room for the whole family. This house is nothing fancy, but definitely feels like home. We come back year after year. It has a reasonably well stocked kitchen, as well as televisions in every room. Beds are very comfy. You just can't beat the sound and view of the ocean at this house. Tidelife Vacation Rentals is absolutely the best place to work with on any rental. They actually care about their customers and if there is an issue, they are quick to respond and help. We highly recommend Hiller Villa and Tidelife.

The house was a good beach house, older and spacious. We enjoyed the fewer people on the beach as a result of the creek on the back side of the house. When we booked the house, a grill was listed as an amenity, however, there was not one, and we had to purchase one since we love to cook out when our family is together. We were also told we had creek access for fishing and boating but there is no creek access at this house, which was a huge disappointment. The only other negative was that there was pet hair everywhere in the house, although it is listed as a “no pet” rental. Perhaps the owners have pets and had been there previously. But pet hair was in one of the beds and on the floors. Two of our family members are allergic to pet hair. The house just needs to be cleaned more carefully if pet hair is noticed. Our family enjoyed our week very much. We will likely be there next year, if available, if we can be assured of the lack of pet hair. We got over our disappointment of no creek access, although we would love to have a dock.

Great option for larger extended families. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Upstairs bedrooms aren’t really great for younger children as there are no gates for staircase at the house. Was great for our Thanksgiving family trip.

Disappointed
The house had a great layout and access to the beach. We were very disappointed at how dirty the house was. There was dog hair on the couches, carpets and beds. I spent the first day cleaning the house from top to bottom. Many of the outlets in the kitchen and living room don’t work. Sparks came out of one in the bedroom. I recommend an electrician be called out before it gets worse. The front load washer door is broken and mildew had built up. The upstairs shower won’t drain properly. Its in need of new toilet seats, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. Its a shame that this house has not been taken care of.

We are snow birds and loved staying in this beach front home from Jan thru March 2020. Comfy and the location is amazing. Tidelife is by far the best company to work with to find just what you need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom making it easy for our family to come and visit. The house is a typical beach house, dated but very comfortable.
