We didnt get much time to just relax but it was great to be able to relax on the deck and watch the world go by.
Breakfast and supper were easily prepared in the convenient kitchen, we served buffet style and enjoyed everyones company at the large dining room table :)
The 4 cousins enjoyed being outside and even picked wild raspberries!.
A big thank you to our hosts for offering such a wonderful home for our family to be together.
We made a trip to Flag Mountain and did some geo caching. We love the Black Hills!!

It was awesome. The house was perfect. The dirt road with construction was a pain but would rent the house again.

7 of us enjoyed our stay. We 4-wheeled everyday and drove right off the property. It is so well located, you can go any direction and never ride them all. Host is great! Property is beautiful with amazing sunsets off the wrap around porch. We look forward to stay again!

Nice place. Very quiet

We used the cabin for our family Christmas in the summer and had plenty of room for everyone. The layout was great and the view from the balcony was amazing. The only downfall in the house that I noticed was the bedrooms upstairs were a little small due to the slope of the roof. There was a little highway construction down the road which was out of their control. Very peaceful and secluded from a lot of people around. Very enjoyable!

We came for a family vacation from Wisconsin. The cabin was amazing. Set out about 30 min from the city which we didn’t mind at all. Quiet, clean, beautiful setting. The cabin had everything we needed. The WiFi was great as the cell signal was not available until getting back to Hill City. The hosts were super responsive to questions we had. Hot tub was amazing after a long day. Would totally come back.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Check in process was a breeze and the property manager was very responsive with any questions we had. If you are looking for a place that allows you to be away from others, this is your place. Very peaceful and quiet. Just want the Dr. ordered for our family.

We had three generations of our family staying from ages 6 to 65 and this house was perfect for us. It was so clean and the views are spectacular. It was also so close to the trails and Deerfield Lake which so convenient. We drove our side-by-sides everyday and loved hoping on the trails so close to the Alpine Lodge.

The cabin was more than we could have asked for. A group of 7 of us with 4 motorcycles stayed here for the Sturgis Rally. Greg was an amazing host and communicated so quickly when we had questions. The location is beautiful, the cabin had everything you could need, and 7 adults had more than enough room. Having motorcycles on the gravel road was pleasantly easy! The road is well maintained and having access to one side of the garage was a great selling point! Highly recommend this property & host! If you are ever wanting to stay here for the Rally it’s a perfect location puts you in the center of everywhere we wanted to ride! Thank you Greg for an amazing experience!

We really enjoyed our stay & the cabin was perfect for our family. Lots of room and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Greg & Amanda were very accommodating. If you are looking for a serene place out in the country but still centrally located, this is the place for you.

This was a great place to stay for our group. We loved the neat view and the hot tub was clean and very peaceful to sit in during the evening.
The kitchen was really well stocked and the dishes and things were clean. We felt like the place was a good deal and had a cozy feel to it.
The only complaints might be the lack of climate control in the upstairs bedroom with the bunk bed. It got hot and with the door closed it was a bit of a challenge to keep cool without placing a fan near the screen door. Once we did that the cool air would feed in and cooled the room well. It was certainly not a deal breaker.
The owner answered our text quickly when we had a question and was easy to communicate with.
Overall great place.

Hosts are top rate. Excellent and responsive communication. We had a fantastic week-long stay. We rode ATV/UTVs right from the property each day. Accommodating property easily served all of us for evening meals. Highly recommend.

Loved this stay
The home was beautiful and so comfortable for our large family. After a busy day in the mountains this was a wonderful place to return to relax. Greg was available when we needed him. The home is spacious and great for our large family to spread out at the end of the day. We would recommend this home. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful remote cabin
Greg was an excellent host! We were low on towels and some other supplies and he brought them to us all the way from Rapid City! This cabin is well situated for anyone who wants to ATV in the black hills. We did that one day and it was a lot of fun! Flag Mountain is an awesome place to stop! Be aware it is 30min from Hill City and any other Mount Rushmore area type activities you want to do. It’s kind of a long drive but is very scenic! Hiking up the ridge behind the cabin was also fun! We even saw some elk one morning. Very peaceful!

Cabin Haven
Our first night we all sat on the long porch and watched as a storm rolled into the area. We all loved the porch, the family room, kitchen, dinning and bedrooms. There was space to wonder and explore, kids to play, enjoy a bonfire and s’mores. The view was beautiful and the nights cool. One does need to watch for sudden weather changes in the Black Hills.
