About this cottage rental
This cute & cozy cottage is just 350 yards to the beach! Light, bright and airy with cathedral ceiling and skylight. The National Seashore beaches & hiking trails at the end of our street (3 min. drive) are spectacular and some of the most secluded on the Cape! The cottage is 370 sq ft, 2 bedrooms & main living area with kitchenette and there is a picnic table & BBQ grill on the front patio. There is one bathroom with a shower only. Sheets and towels are not included.
The National Seashore beaches at the end of the street are spectacular. They are on Cape Cod Bay so the waves are not as big as ocean side beaches but the water is warmer (and that's important, if you actually want to go in the water!) Great Island (a peninsula that's part of the National Seashore) at the end of our street allows you to hike through dunes and pine forests and find your own deserted piece of beach - a rarity on cape cod! The shops, art galleries, restaurants, drive-in movies and proximity to Provincetown, make Wellfleet the best town on the Cape for an incredible summer vacation!

Back in the 60’s, my parents would always rent the same cute little cottage in Wellfleet.
I loved going there, and had great memories.
I couldn’t remember the name of the cottages, but the photos made me think it was the same place…
And it is the same place! I was thrilled when I drove up to it and my memory was correct.
I was even one cottage away from the one my family always rented. So happy it is still here for people to enjoy.
Had a great weekend there.

A cute little cottage perfect for 2, may be crowded for 4. Very clean except for the 2 carpets. Very well equipped for cooking. Very nice hosts who care for tenants. The cottage is very close (50 feet) to a busy road even in September. We had a very pleasant time despite hurricane Lee.

My 3rd year at this location. I have nothing bad to say. It’s the perfect
Cape Cod cottage, reasonably price, great location, easy access to everything you want to do.
Highly recommended..!

The cottage was very clean and tidy when we got there. Cottage itself is super cute and relatively private compared to the other cottages. Area was super nice and a short walk to the beach.

Nice little cottage, on a quaint winding back road. Short bike ride to the beach and town. Surrounded by mature trees so there's always shade. The air conditioner and ceiling fan were appreciated on the hot days but we just opened the windows on most days to let the Cape breeze blow through. Yaz & Pete were very responsive when we couldn't figure out the TV. We had a delightful week.

Nice little place perfect for 2 people. Love how the living room feels spacious. Hammock is great!
The bedrooms are really tiny and my partner and I ended up sleeping in separate rooms because a double bed really was too small for us, especially with no space to get out of bed if you are against the wall. But in had a great stay and found it clean and cozy.
It might be “across the street from thee beach” but you can’t see any beach view at all. It’s a 15 minute walk to beach access on the bay.
We were VERY appreciative of the AC, as it was incredibly muggy and we would have suffered without it. Thanks!

Compact, well appointed. Quiet, and the neighborhood is charming. It is a romantic cottage in a very special, gentle town.

This cottage is charming, exactly as described. It is very close to town (but be advised Wellfleet lacks sidewalks and shoulders on many of the streets as soon as you get out of the center of town, so not advised to walk to town if you have children in tow). I appreciated the heating and air conditioning, though it was rarely needed. The cottage is small but laid out in such a smart way that it is easy to stow suitcases (the beds are raised so I put them underneath). It is just fine in size for 2 people, might be cramped unless you're used to a tiny house for 3 or 4. Great Island is a a hidden gem for walking trails and the ocean, and only a mile and a half from the cottage. The owners responded instantly to my questions. I used the hammock, picnic table, kitchen appliances, really everything and it was all in good working order and clean as a whistle. I had such a wonderful sense of place and history here. Already plotting a return next year.

Charming, clean cottage was perfect for myself and a friend. We each had our own bedroom and could enjoy the small indoor space, patio, and hammock. The location is perfect! Close to both the harbor and the downtown. I had a fantastic week!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was just the right size for a family of four and my girls really enjoyed the coziness of the cottage. In the evening my wife and enjoyed a glass of wine and sat outside on the Adirondack chairs. A relaxing and quiet weekend was enjoyed by all.

Another excellent stay in this cottage. I’ll be renting again next summer. Super clean, great location. Easy access to entire cape, short drives to ocean side beaches. Great local restaurants.
Can’t go wrong with this rental.

If you take into account the low price of the place, it deserves a good rating. It was cheap and very clean, has two bedrooms, new airconditioning (in the living room only) and Wellfleet is great. Also, most of the acessories are new - mattraces are good, do not smell, etc. But the house is is tiny- and there is pretty much no place to store clothes etc. The main bedroom has a very small open closet with drawers, but that is it. The second bedroom only has a cleaning cabinet that is used (and smells because of the cleaning material stored). The hosts did everything they could with the cottage (nicely decorated, freshly painted, new appliances), though the cottage does not have real doors, but rather planks (noise problem). Blinds that darken every room help sleeping are a plus. A downside is a low to moderately busy road right in front of the house - you hear the cars at night if windows are open. Also, though the beach is close, the walk is not that close and easy with children. You need to follow the road, since you cannot go directly to the beach, which is longer, and since there is no sidewalk, and sometimes overgroath, one is at times forced to walk on the road, and the cars come fast, so this is not ideal for younger children. The master bedroom (if you can call it that) only has a full-size-bed, and (as you can see in the photos) you need to climb over the other person if you want to exit the bed. If you only use the bedrooms, I would say the house is ideal for three guests, not more - though there is a couch in the livingroom space, but you will have problems storing the luggage with more than three persons and you will keep each other awake at nights. The compound has a washing machine and a dryer.

The owners did a great job of passing lots of information about the property and town that was very helpful. This cottage was a good size for our family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 elementary age children). The only thing missing were games to play on rainy cape days otherwise it was a beautiful rental.

We had an amazing experience at this property. The house is small but fit our needs perfectly. Within walking distance of Mayo beach and other community amenities. The property owner was extremely responsive and helpful.

Clean, strategically located, lovely spot. 'Old Cape' feel without being funky. Sitting out at the picnic table early and late was delightful. Neighbors close but not noisy or intrusive. I use a cane, access from car to door was a little steep but not problematic.

Wellfleet cottage
We have a lovely stay here. The cottage is small but is comfortable and has most everything you may need. Great location, a short walk to Mayo Beach and a long walk or short bike ride to Wellfleet Center and Mac's on the pier. Peter and Yaz were great, friendly and responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Wellfleet stay
Enjoyed the property. A larger shower and a fire pit would have earned it 5 stars. Difficult getting in and out of the full bed for person #2.

Classic little Cape cottage
It's small and simple, just as it should be, but also nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and Marimekko prints. You can walk to a bayside beach, so no need for a town permit unless you want to swim in the ponds. The cottages in this compound are quite close together, but it's still quiet, and the setting is lovely. And the owner is very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We'll be back!

Cute, convenient and comfortable
What a wonderful week we spent in Wellfleet! The cottage is adorable and exactly as pictured. The location is convenient to everything - pier, town, beaches. It was exactly what we needed for a week away! The mosquitoes are REALLY bad this year so bug repellent is a must. So grateful to have found this little slice of heaven!

Just what we needed!
Peter and Yasmin’s cabin was just what we needed. It is small but comfortable. We were out most of the weekend so it was fine. Perfect for a couples getaway!

The place could use a spruce up. Get rid of the mold on the bathroom floor. Replace the rusted out stove burners. UGHPaint the place. And deep clean the upholstery. Place felt neglected.

Cutest tiny home
We love Wellfleet, and we really enjoyed our stay here as the location is the best. The cottage is small, but we were comfortable and had everything we need. It is a part of the bigger community of cottages that are pretty close to each other, but this one is located upfront so you are getting a bit more privacy. I loved waking up to the view of pine trees for the windows.

Amazing Location!
We have been going to Cape Cod for 10 years, and often travel to Wellfleet for the day, but never for a long period of time. This cottage is a quick walk/bike ride/drive from everything we love to do in Wellfleet! The cottage is super cute and exactly as described. We were there during a very hot and humid week, but there were window fans available for each room and we made use of the cozy hammock outside. With the restaurant Covid-19 restrictions, we took advantage of take out many nights and the picnic table and adirondack chairs outside came in handy. The condo community was nice- anyone we happened across while outside was friendly and ready to answer questions/give suggestions. The community laundry onsite was handy to have. Yaz and Peter were in touch several times before we left for the Cape with all the info we needed and responded to questions almost immediately. They touched based while we were there and after we left- great communication all around! We would definitley recommend!!!

Great location, cute little quintessential cape cottage. My wife & I did a full clean when we arrived in light of COVID. We are familiar with the area & really enjoyed the proximity to bayside beaches, duck island, & golf course. Also close to town & only about a 7 minute drive to the ocean side. Overall great stay & the owners were very accessible and super friendly. Thanks!! -the Walkers

I love Cape Cod/I love this cottage
This was my first time on Cape Cod and Wellfleet is definately the place to be. It was unseasonably cold, but that didn't negatively affect my trip, as there is lots to due in the area besides swim. Hiking in Great Island is just up the road from the cottage, MassAudobon wildlife preserve is only a few minutes away, and Provincetown (which is tons of fun) is a short drive away. Got in some good paddling in the bay and the pond. All the beaches are nice, but I thought Duck Harbor is the best. The cottage is in a great location, has everything you need, and is decorated attractively. I haven't stayed in a rental before that had such good kitchen stuff, even good knives; it made cooking easy.
