We rented a pontoon from St Germain sports and marine. Best prices and free drop off and pick up. St. Germain is truly a beautiful gem. Huge market on Mondays. Town was just down the road. There is a small walk down a hill to the lake, but we enjoyed the time talking and taking in the nature. Cabin fit our needs as a family of 5 adults and our golden. Very peaceful and great night fishing off the pier.
and taking in the nature. family of 5

This house is vintage, but with updated fixtures, etc. It's like stepping back in time, in a great way AND with solid Wi-Fi. Pleasantly off the beaten path, but still close to St. Germaine, Eagle River, Minocqua, etc. Communication with owner was great. This is definitely on our list of places we'd rent again.

My family and I had a great experience from start to finish. The property owner was very quick to respond to any questions. There was plenty of space in the charming and comfortable cabin for our group of 4 adults, 3 children and 2 small dogs. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable (very important). The yard was very large with plenty of room to run. The lake front space was also large with a nice private beach and dock. The community of Saint Germain is lovely. Great location. I would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time at this rental! The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was so spacious for our family of 4 and can definitely accommodate many more! We especially loved the really big lake frontage with the docks and sandy swimming area. It's great that there is a fire pit at the cabin and at the beach. The owner was great to work with and very responsive to questions!

The beach area and dock were great. We had fun using the kayaks. We rented a boat and the rental company was able to deliver it directly to the dock which was super convenient. Jeff was very quick and helpful in responding to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place
We were impressed by this clean, comfortable, and beautifully located cabin. Communication with the owners was easy and they quickly responded to questions, they seem very friendly. I'm happy they allowed dogs and provided firewood. We had a lovely time kayaking the lake (not too busy with boat traffic) and enjoyed bonfires. I was impressed with quality of the cookware and utensils provided, and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a place to remember!

Last summer vacation
The place is awesome!! Big enough for 7 of us. Plenty of nature for everyone to get outside and warm/cozy inside for bad weather days. A short walk down the path is a beach area, docks, firepit, and grill to enjoy!! We were in the dog days of summer, so no swimming for us; but the kids enjoyed the beach area and fishing. Neighbors are around but not right there!! You can see them through the trees and they are very quiet. We had fires every night at the fireproof by the house... yes, there are 2 firepits!!! Overall we enjoyed our final summer get away!! Thank you Jeff!!

Wonderful Stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The privacy and outdoor space by the cabin was our favorite. Lots of deer. Nice spot to sit and relax by the fire. The kids enjoyed the beach area and kayaks. We appreciate you being dog friendly. Easy location to conveniences of St Germain.

Our overall impression of the property is that it is perfect. We have stayed at several different Northwoods cabins and this is the best place and experience ever. The cabin has plenty of room ,very clean, and well kept. second bathroom was a godsend with all the people we had. We never saw Jeff but he was always a text message away, always prompt with a reply to help make this vacation the best.

Bitter Sweet
We had a group of 10 to go snowmobiling. The cabin we stayed in was all it said it was and accommodated all of us very comfortably . It was a nice location and private , and very close to the trails. The driveway accommodated the trailers and the snowmobiles.
On the day we left I vacuumed and made sure everything was cleaned up and I felt I left the cabin as we found it. Jeff one of the owners was very nice, checking in once in a while to see if we needed anything. He also texted me on the way home just to make sure everything was ok.
A week later I got a text from Jeff's wife Abbey asking if we had an animal in the house because the housekeeper said there was black hair resembling a dog. Because there was black hair on the dresser and the sheets. I told her we did not bring a dog or an animal with us on the trip. Commonsense is I would be a poor animal owner to leave it in the house alone for a long period of time. We left to go snowmobiling mid morning and didn't return till 8 or 9 in the evening. When we left, I checked everything and I know there wasn't black hair on the white sheets, and the dressers, so the black hair definitely would have been very noticeable. In the text I was basically called a liar and felt attacked by Abbey. When I called her to speak with her directly, she text me and told me to call Jeff, I did and he was so nice and seemed to understand what I was telling him. That is why I had to think long and hard about writing this review.

Great Northwoods Retreat
We had a great last minute extended Labor Day trip to the Northwoods! The owners were accommodating and responsive. The property and lake were as described with all the accommodations necessary for a comfort stay! While there we took the paved bike trail to Sayner for some pizza and ice cream, road the area mountain bike trail, swam, and enjoyed some fishing and boating!!!!

Just what we needed.
My wife and I needed a place to stay for an entire week that was near little St. Germain that also allowed dogs and this cottage was perfect! Our dog absolutely loved the trail to the lake and the large yard for free roaming. The cottage was very clean and comfy. It's just a few minutes from the grocery store. There's cabins just close enough that you don't get spooked being alone in the woods but just far enough that you have your own privacy and hardly notice them! The bonfire pit with the complimentary firewood was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Lastly, Jeff was always a text or call away with any questions we had and would always respond super quickly. If we ever need a place to stay in little St. Germain, we would definitely be coming back!
