I was beyond disappointed to have selected a home of this price to find the conditions upon arrival. I was told linen was included in the rental fee but was charged an additional $300 fee. The home was filthy upon arrival. Hair and dirt all over the staircase, sand all over the steps to entrance of home, dishwasher was full of water and the top rack was broken, kitchen chair was broken, the beds were horrible, furniture was dated and dirty with stains' the floors were sticky and visibly dirty, the master shower was covered in black mold, hot tub was below water level with sand present, backyard was full of broken and rusted lawn furniture, used charcoal was left in the grill, yard was unkept and grass was high, trash can in kitchen had something that looked and smelled like vomit DUST for days everywhere, large palmetto bugs were present and the list goes on. We called multiple times and the answering staff was rude at Dunes Realty. Housekeeping had to come back out and cleaned again. Grass was cut 2 days later. It was beyond the worst rental experience on VRBO. We left early and will NEVER return $3000 wasted.

Nice house. Good location. More silverware needed for a house this size.

We loved our stay at Nana’s Nook. The best features are the close proximity to the beach, the fenced in area for the dogs, and the private hot tub

Walked in to dirty, grimy house
In arrival, door was left open, sand all over floor, hair in bathroom floors and sink, dirty dishes in dishwasher, dirty linens left behind, cigar and cigarette butts in tiny back yard, along with bottle caps, scrap lumber from unfinished deck, broken downspout, grill was old rusted junker. Spoke to management, they agreed to refund $200 cleaning fee but it hasn't been processed yet. Would never stay here again. Management and owners are just taking advantage of the high demand for properties without keeping it up. Look elsewhere.

Great Location
The house was really nice and everything worked well. The location is great as it's just across the beach and a very short walk. When we entered at 4:00pm, as instructed, the cleaning crew had not been there. We were not informed up-front that they were running late. When they got there, they did put out towels and put sheets on the bed. They were there less than 30 minutes and did very little, if any cleaning. The house was pretty dirty. There was also a stopped-up toilet, which wound up having a bar of soap in it. We're not sure whether that was from the previous renters or the cleaning crew. The plumber had to make 2 trips, but got it taken care of. He was excellent and did exactly what he said he would. Overall, we had a great time, but had a rough start.

Family holiday trip
This house was perfect for our family, 3 generations....plenty of room for meals, games, watching TV, relaxing. The house included everything a large group would need for meal prep and were pleasantly surprised that crock pots and a griddle were available in additional to the standard kitchen items. We appreciated that linens were included. Laundry facilities were a bonus. Check in and check out process were great. While it wasn't exactly "beach weather" we did enjoy walking on the beach across the road. Plenty of grocery options and restaurants within a few minutes of the property and Myrtle Beach isn't too far to go enjoy some of the entertainment options in that area. It would have been nice to have some kind of cleaning spray available (lysol for instance) but not a deal breaker. Also instructions for the hot tub would have been nice, but was fairly easy to figure out and a much appreciated benefit. We would rent Nana's Nook again if we are in the area.

Quiet and Convenient
The house was spacious with large covered decks and view of the ocean. Very short walk to the beach and pier. Convenient to Murrels Inlet restaurants.

Great Location with lots of space
Nana's Nook was a great house and in a very good location. W e had plenty of room and never felt crowded in this big home. We could walk down to the pier or walk across the street to the beach. It was easy to run home to fix lunch. I would have given the home a Five Star on everything but I do think the carpets are way overdue to be cleaned on the stairwell and it appeared to be a lot of light colored dog or cat hair in various areas. Overall I do recommend this rental and we would stay again but ask for carpets to be cleaned if possible or just wear flip flips or socks the entire time in the home.
