Old fashioned und modern

Bezauberndes altes Haus. Gemütliche Bar und feines Restaurant. Toller Park mit Pool und Meerblick. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Feiner Wellnessbereich. Parkplätze. Very old fashioned.

Frühstück mit 20£ pro Person überteuert. Duschwasser zumindest im Manor House mit sehr unberechenbaren Temperaturwechseln. Kein Fön und kein Safe im Zimmer. Das Hotel wird für größere Events gebucht. Uns hat das nicht beeinträchtigt. Das Zimmer ist bei booking mit 40qm beschrieben, es ist leider nur etwa halb so groß.

We had a fantastic time at Macdonald Elmers Court Resort and we will definitely come again very soon

The gardens, pools, tennis courts, facilities were all fabulous. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but it was fantastic.

The apartment we stayed in was very dark but everything else exceeded expectations.

Lovely resort to stay with family in the New Forest

Location of the property was superb. Spa and swimming pool facilities were very good. Our self catering one bed superior apartment was very comfortable and quite spacious with all the essentials with kitchen for a family of 3. It was located in the mansion house with a balcony overlooking the ground and the solent coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return.

The hotel needs some TLC. I understand it is a period property, all that it needs is a coat of paint at some places in the ceiling where there has been water leak at some point and a carpet change. Although the furniture are dated, it is perfectly functional and comfortable.

Lovely stay, but our accommodation fell short. The staff did their best but were unable to accommodate us elsewhere

Ráda bych se tam znovu vrátila, moc se nám tam líbilo

Velmi pěkné ubytování ve starobylé usedlosti. Nádherná zahrada, možnost využít venkovní i vnitřní bazén (omezený čas pouze do 20:00 bylo trochu limitující, do bazénu bychom byli šli až po návratu z výletů a už jsme nestíhali otvírací dobu).

Líbilo se nám všechno. Pouze musí návštěvníci počítat s tím, že je to nádherný velký resort, tj. na začátku července se tam např. několikrát konalo rozloučení se střední školou, ale nás jako hosty vůbec nikdo nerušil.

Never again

The room was ok. Balcony view was lovely

It smelled musty especially hall way and kitchen Room was exceptionally hot - no aircon of fans. Absolutely u comfortable. Unable to sleep. Had to open the patio doors so consequently bitten alive by midges. No fan brought to us even though we requested as soon as we arrived. Asked again to be told they had none. Fan finally brought on the 2nd day but was small and in effective. Totally spoiled what should have been a weekend of rest and relaxation. Cannot check in u til 5pm and check out by 10am!! On check out we wasn’t even asked if we had had a pleasant stay so they we could voice our concerns.

Within easy reach of Lymington and other New Forest villages, the IOW ferry just a short walk down the road.

Great short break

We stayed in a self catering one bedroom apartment, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, everything we needed was provided. Had a patio with a nice view over the Solent. I can't comment on the on site facilities as we did not use them.

Great location for the coast and New Forrest especially that of Lymington town centre Did not use the outdoor pool but it seemed very popular with the group of families using it Our room was very spacious and quite enough to feel totally relaxed on our short vacation ,even on Graduation evenings from local school

There were school graduation proms on 2 of the nights which were right under our apartment. However they both finished by 11pm so luckily our sleep was not disturbed.

Great location, comfy and relaxing facilities, close to Lymington and the New Forest.

the apartment we had looked out over the lawns towards the solent, it was lovely and peaceful with brilliant facilities. the food was good and the pools were great.

Eating at the waterford restaurant was OK, but only OK, staff were very welcoming and the barman was really attentive and humorous. had a couple of slight issues with the food (frozen in the middle bread roll...) but overal it was enjoyable.

Love this place and will keep coming back

Excellent on all accounts, staff, facilities, beautiful grounds and views. Plenty to do for all the family, rooms and accommodation very clean and well laid out.

People parking in your allocated parking bay. Staff were excellent trying to find the person, but they still didn't move their car which was really frustrating on check out day packing the car up.

Exceptionally large, well equipped and furnished apartment. Grounds were very impressive. Many different activities were available. Less than 10 minutes walk to ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight

Generally a fair price paid for the facilities, huge rooms with some charming parts.

Location to the town , ferry and marshes, good facilities for self catering but the feel of a hotel. Quiet. Lovely gardens. Great parking.

Dated , musty rooms. staff in spa-pool area not that friendly. Reception was good.

Really enjoyed our short break.

The location is perfect for Lymington and the New Forest. The apartment had everything you would need, including a comfortable bed.

We had a little problem when we first arrived and the hotel staff sorted it out straight away - particular mention for Kim who was absolutely lovely, thank you.

Setting was tranquil and a had an amazing view of the sea. The facilities are excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant experience.

We enjoyed it but this place could be so much better.

We enjoyed the pool, tennis, and nice big room. The location was perfect for us. The children loved it. The little kitchen suited us perfectly. The bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony was fantastic. We loved the leisure facilities but imagine if the place was busier they would be stretched. We were lucky as it wasn't.

The check in was poor. We had to go back down to ask about the bed for the children. It was a sofa bed, which was fine but on a late arrival they could have been more helpful. Tired children fell asleep on our bed while we tried to figure it out. They could have told us at reception, or they could have realised our late arrival and been a bit more intuitive! Sheets, duvets etc were all in an ottoman in the other room. Who knew? The sofa bed was not great but ok for 2 small children. The shower was poor - no water pressure and in need of refurb. Grotty grouting. Hot water was scalding - had to tell the kids not to use the hot tap at all. Loo flush was difficult too - you had to push hard and hold it in for ages! The whole place was clean - just tired. The worst was the wedding night! We were only told when we checked in. We were right above a very noisy, pumping, singing disco! No sleep until late. Tried putting the TV on but you could only hear the disco. No sleep for anyone, especially small children, made the next day very ratty. The staff seemed pretty disinterested in the whole experience, to be honest. They were going through the motions, but there was just an element missing. If this whole place was gone next year you would not be surprised.
