Very comfortable hacienda, near the fantastic beach and in strategic position between Cabo and La Paz. The host Jason is very friendly and always available. Fantastic breakfast!

It was like being welcomed into someone's home. Lovely, pleasant, gated place, beach not far. Kitchen was wonderful - again like sitting in someone's home. Mango trees, a hammock. This was just a stop on the way so I wish we could've stayed longer but they sent us out well in the early morning with coffee (even had to-go cups!) and cereal with milk.

A little gem in La Ribera. It's like a home from home. The garden is just beautiful to hang out in, and everyone is lovely and friendly

My husband & I stayed here 2 nights and it was amazing. Our room was big, the shower was great, the breakfast was just what we needed, the courtyard area is pretty & the location was perfect for accessing both Santiago (cascadas sol de mayo) & Cabo Pulmo.
What really made our stay was the hospitality - Jason & his Dad are super friendly & helpful. We chatted to Jason throughout our stay & really felt at home in his lovely B&B. Their puppy Monica is gorgeous too!
Our bed was a little soft. Aircon system was very loud but we managed without it.

Loved this Bed and breakfast! Jason and his father, David, were terrific. The property is fantastic and very close to a very nice public beach.
Will be back for sure!

Good-sized room and large bathroom. Garden was lovely, with several seating areas so you didn't feel crowded. Basic breakfasts were appreciated.
Limited options in LA Ribera for dining.

Loved the quiet town, small scale hotel, friendly host and staff, the host dogs, and dining options around town. Jason was a great communicator and always had coffee brewing! The locals are also great!
If you want party and all-inclusive, this is not it and we like it that way!
Also, Room 4 has a new mattress!
Not one thing other than we didn't stay longer, will be back! This time, with a car! We took bus to Los Barilles and then 400 peso Uber to hotel.

Continental breakfast includes cereals, toast, fruit, juices, coffee etc.
The property is well kept. Very nice patio with multiple sitting areas. Nice murals on the walls.
Owner was present and available for any needs.
We enjoyed visiting with other travelers.

Breakfast choices were very good. Location was good but city does not mark street names for most streets.
Plumbing sometimes was loud and gave sewer smell.

Beautiful room & grounds. Well-equipped kitchen.

Its beautiful , feels like Mexico and it’s great to have a microwave and even a stove in the morning to cook my oatmeal. The host and his father are very welcoming . Great place to have space but be able to meet other travelers as well . We ended up with the family room , it was huge and spacious.
Nothing - great value !

courtyard/ garden area were stunning, Jason and his father were great hosts and very welcoming with lots of tips and would lend beach equipment to use.
bedsheets we’re older and deteriorating, curtains above the bed had some stains and hairs on them from previous guests. For the price we can’t complain too much though, great place and would go again.
3.5
-The hacienda style space has a lot of character & the outdoor garden is gorgeous. Lots of hammocks, sitting chairs, dining tables, grill if that's your thing, etc.
-The hot tub & view of the night sky was one of our favorite parts of the stay! This felt luxurious.
-The elderly gentleman (sorry, I forgot his name) was incredibly friendly upon arrival. We later met the owner who was willing to exchange some dollars to pesos & make other local recommendations for hiking which was greatly appreciated. They are from the U.S. & we usually prefer to support local Mexican owners, however, the U.S. owners were very friendly. Glad we were able to meet them. And much better than supporting a resort or chain!
-Decent pricing for the area. There are not many options. Lodging ranges from shoestring to 1,000 bucks a night. And we don't have the budget for the latter!
-The accommodation did grow on us, and it would be fantastic if you had the opportunity to rent the whole place out with a large family/friend group. Communal kitchen is nice, although we only needed the basics.
-For us this was a good location because we wanted to visit Cabo Pulmo & Santiago and neither are far.
-Other than construction (I'll get to that in a minute) the place was quiet, guests seem to quiet down and go to bed rather early which is preferable for us too.
-5-10 minute drive to many restaurants. Our favorite was actually Tacos y Mariscos Viarney, just a roadside place with many taco/fish dishes
-There was some miscommunication on the room, which ended up not being a huge deal but would have been better communicated in advance.
-There is some major construction nearby (on the adjacent street) which is obviously challenging for the owners and residents of the area, but just not super peaceful while it is occurring unfortunately. And it seems to go from sunrise to 830pm, so you don't get much respite from that. Hopefully it will be done soon.
-The main upstairs room has a great view of the ocean, however, it has a full wall window (formerly sliding glass door) that looks out on a patio. That would be wonderful, except it is a community patio--meaning anyone could come peer into your room if you have the curtains open or be sitting outside smoking/talking. It was just an awkward set-up. Fortunately nobody spent time outside our bedroom...but, just an FYI if you pick that room.
-Overall, the main room upstairs didn't feel incredibly private, although the space is decent otherwise.
-Really need to update the sheets. The sheets were really old & piling, so my fleece pants were covered in lint balls.
-One of the two double-beds didn't seem to be properly cleaned (we didn't stay in that bed as the other one appeared 100% clean). But, just make sure to check.
-Beds are not comfortable, but we found this to be in the case in most places in Mexico. Just very firm mattresses and a bit rough if you have lower back/hip issues.
-Very, very chilly in the evening and in the morning (I wore a long sleeve, light down, fleece, and down coat) but I think it is typical in Mexico not to have any heating, even in December. Not a major con, but just be prepared!!

This is a lovely place! David and Jason are great hosts. We arrived later in the evening and David waited for us to check us in and show us around. We were allowed to use the kitchen on our own in the morning as our dives in Cabo Pulmo were scheduled early. Their very plushy cat Theodora paid us a visit every morning as well. The room was spacious, had AC, a ceiling fan, fridge, good shower pressure, comfortable bed and in the morning you can hear the roosters and cows - very peaceful. We'll be back.
The cleanliness of the room can be improved. The towels and sheets pilled a lot and every time after having a shower you were covered in lint. Same for the bed sheets after each night. The bathroom sink also needed a scrub.

comfortable beds, good shower and friendly hosts. The courtyard was also really cool and good facilities for cooking. wish we could have stayed longer
