Very good

The staff were beyond excellent and accomodating. The vegan food was very delicious and since they were so good I would love it if they increased the menu. The view was amazing from the room. The shower was beyond enjoyable. Would really recommend. On the expensive side tho.

Two single beds pushed together were not comfortable with the gap in the middle.

The ambience of the room and the hotel. The view from the hotel room. The cleanliness. The calmness.

We loved it. Pity we spent only one night. Pillows were squarish unlike how I am accustomed to sleep on.

Exceptional

The history of Isobolaget is fascinating. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry and in a superb location with stunning views across the archipelago. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast outstanding offering numerous heathy options. The staff were really helpful and suggested great walks.

Excellent stop over

So relaxed and welcoming. Beautiful vegan breakfast brought once she was aware. Hotel was very quiet as it was early in the week in off season, so extra peaceful and we had full use of the lounge and tea making facilities. Donsö was a lovely island with refreshing walks

Super cute hotel, great price in a perfect area

Breakfast was exceptional, super friendly staff, and knowledgeable about the local area. Very very clean, air conditioned, comfortable.

Nice break in a beautiful island

Great breakfast, nice staff, good view The lift is very useful for luggage The hotel is well located However, it is useful to know that you can rent these funny little cars on the island before the ferry (so get off before and take the bridge to get to Donso)

the room was too small, with no chairs, no table there's a joke about the quality of the bed being a bit "worn out" by the customers, someone put a sign "medium mattress", as if it was a quality, but in the morning if you're not 20 years old anymore, your back takes a big hit! In short, there is a slightly "bourgeois bohemian" atmosphere, as much for the decoration as for the rest. It's a nice hotel, but a bit expensive for the quality and the space...

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.

This is such a lovely small hotel, sitting right in the marina. Our room had windows on two sides, with a wonderful view of the harbour. It's spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed it.

We were very disappointed to discover that the hotel restaurant was closed throughout our stay, other than for breakfast. Be forewarned that there is only one other restaurant for dinner on Donsö, Noretti's pizza, though their pizza is fine and their falafal pita is fabulous.

Tastefully furnished and clean room with a sea view.

The restaurant was closed as it was low season but we had not been informed. There are no other restaurants on the island except for a fast food pizzeria/Kebab shop. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful at all. Breakfast not being a buffet setup the second day and served in a small room. Since the tourist season had not yet started, it seemed to us that everything was a bit neglected.

Location and cleanliness and breakfast

I couldn't open the windows and although there was ac i would have loved to have fresh air. I ended up getting unusually hot and stuffy during the night. Otherwise the beds were comfortable

Such a wonderful hotel! Perfect for our 2 day stay

What a beautiful stay! My partner and I were here for two days and despite being in low season, this was a great place to be. The hotel itself was very clean, modern yet with a great boutique feel to it. The hospitality of the staff were amazing, particularly the owner, who we met on our first night. The breakfast spread was really good, a great selection of food to start again. We will definitely be back here again. Thank you!

We unfortunately could not experience dinner in the hotel as it was low season (it was not open) but we will be back for this. The reception area where you could play games/ chill out in was quite warm so could do with some temperature check but this was just a small thing.

Relaxing getaway in the archipelago

Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were amazing! The sea view from the room was so beautiful as we were lucky with the weather in June. Staff was super friendly and the room very clean.

Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Very tastefully furnished and cozy. The room was facing the waterfront offering a fantastic view of the sunset. We couldn’t try dinner at the restaurant as we arrived on a Sunday, when it’s closed, but breakfast was excellent with a large variety also for vegetarians. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.

pretty good, but pricey for the service.

location is amazing. staff are helpful when called.

there’re many little miscommunications and mistakes during the two day stay. while they’re all dealt with by the nice staff. the fact that they happened so many times in the first place was slightly annoying..eg. breakfast not being a buffet setup the first day, ingredients missing in the plate during dinner, charged double accidentally for the stay.. have to say it’s a bit disappointing for the price
