location was great, shuttle service and staff good.
only one hot tub open. no restaurant or food options at the hotel. village restaurants were closed one day.
4.1
Loved the sitting area separate from the sleeping area
Front office staff weren’t knowledgeable about booking a second night. Had to return to speak to someone else later that evening, and then another person the next day because they couldn’t help us. Then come to find out that we had to book online. Was a little frustrating.

Location of the Olympic Village Inn is great. It is right next to the Palisades Tahoe resort accessible by the shuttle that runs every 10 mins. Rooms are spacious for their price and the resort has good amenities like pool, hot tub, gym, ski check-in.
Rooms are a bit old and mattresses could be slightly better.
4.1
Great details in the room. 2 shower heads 2 balconies
Staff was odd

Suite apartment, frequent shuttle to village
No on-site restaurant
4.1
Great location with a convenient shuttle to Palisades. Staff was super helpful. Our suite had pull-out sofa, small fridge, sink, dishwasher and microwave.
The building and room is a bit old/dated.
4.1
The location is very close to the base of Palisades and an easy walk for food or drinks. For skiing there is a shuttle that runs all day so you can put your boots on in your room and get to the slopes easily. There is a room with a nice bed, tv, easy chair and bench, a separate large bathroom, and a family room with a kitchenette. There is a large couch and folding dinner table. Overall, the room(s) have a mountain cottage vibe.
The locks on the door and pretty old school.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We spent some time in the game room, which wasn't big, but provided a lot of fun and entertainment.
The rooms and building could definitely use some updating, but we understand that the decor is part of the charm of staying here. The game room was a little stinky, possibly because of its proximity to the gym, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us out of there.

Loved the location and friendly staff. I also liked the amenities like the heated pool, hot tub, and sauna. The game room for the kids was awesome, as well as the guest meeting room.
Our room heater was not working properly, however, the room stayed relatively warm. Two of the hot tubs were not working.

Super friendly staff. Location close to lifts.
Apartment layout was FUNKY! And cold and musty. Couldn't make it warm enough.
You enter from the outside (not an interior hallway, but outside, like a motel) into the bedroom, then have to walk through the bathroom to get to the living room. The bathroom has poor ventilation so is damp after a shower. You can see the moisture problems they have had and the whole place smells musty as a result.
There is only one heater per area, and they don't do much. There are space heaters, but we plugged two in at the same time and it blew a circuit, so we were in the dark for 20 minutes.
There is a wood burning fireplace. It was difficult to start because they didn't supply enough kindling. We used a pizza box and got it started, however the fire does not provide much heat.

Excellent location for skiing at Palisades with a better rate than hotels in the village. Hotel Shuttle runs every 10mins. It’s a 2 min drive or a 10-15 minute walk to the main entrance of the resort. This allows you to avoid the congested parking lot and horrendous traffic getting in and out of the resort on ski days.
No fireplace in the rooms. No breakfast. Property is a little outdated.

Suites need to be upgraded

It was clean.
Temperature was difficult to control. AC worked weird.

I tried to change my booking the week before and shorten it by a day. The hotel refused to let me cancel the last day of my stay, and I had to eat the cost of an additional night past my checkout. I don't understand why I could not cancel the last night and was forced to pay for services that were not rendered. Proceed with caution.

We liked the hot tub, proximity to the slopes. Location is great!
The interior is very dated. The room is a pretty small for the price.

staff was very friendly and helpful. we appreciated the shuttle
4.1
close location to ski resort
heaters were loud and did not work properly. temperature would not go above 60 degrees. TV in master bedroom was broken and front desk would not answer phone after 5pm

There is no breakfast offered.

Great location. Our room #316 was a great value for the price. The overall facility, being a historic property, is a little long on the tooth in some respects, especially the exterior. The main hot tub next to the pool is awesome, while the little private hot tubs weren't that hot and the decking around them needs to be rehabilitated. All in all though, I would definitely stay here again.
4.1
condo like facility with separate space to lounge and eat from sleep area.
temperature of the room is hard to manage. it takes a long time to warm up.
4.1
Heat in front room didnt work.
4.1
it’s close to the ski
they charged my card 2 times and did not send me my money back yet , anda it’s been days
4.1
large rooms with a kitchenette.
The hotel is rustic and does need a major facelift. please provide half and half with a better coffee bar in the morning.
the heat in my room had many problems and a space heater had to be used. I’d suggest fitted bottom sheets as the bottom sheet kept moving under our bed.
4.1
Quaint and accommodating. A picturesque winter wonderland after 3’ of fresh snow. A reasonable brisk walk to the village.
Our room was on the first floor facing the pool/spa area (#124)There was a noticeable clinical odor to the room. Housekeeping indicated that the smell was emitted from the pool area. Perhaps the snow accumulation prevented proper ventilation but we acclimated and did not feel that we needed to change rooms.
