We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was simply furnished eye plenty of seating. It was overall very clean but there was evidence an animal had been there. It was an easy walk to the pier for a beautiful day at the beach. Also a short walk to the Sanctuary and Heron Park. Overall we would strongly recommend staying here and would enjoy renting this unit again.

As much as we liked our place, we would not rent it again. The week we were there a family above us had four young kids who’s running around really put a damper on our trip. At one point they were screaming outside our door and I had to say something. In addition, (and not your fault) but our beach accessory order was stolen before we got there. LOVE Kiawah, but the noise above us was too loud & consistent pounding of the floor & made sleeping in difficult and even hearing the TV challenging at times

There are so many easy updates to make that would give this place five stars!
1. Update the pillows! All pillows felt cheap, lumpy and old. I expect this in a cheaper condo, not a beachfront.
2. Electronics. time to buy a new tv for the living room. There is no reason to have three remote controls anymore. TVs are cheap, this condo was pricey. Easy solution.
3. Oh my there was pet hair. We did not see this advertised as pet friendly and I would have never stayed if so.
4. Kitchen- most of the non stick pots were scratched and should be thrown away for health. The kitchen cabinets were flimsy and difficult to close.
Beware! There are no beach towels, each bathroom has one bar of soap, the rental company gives you two pods for laundry and two pods for the dishwasher. Bring your own… everything.
Stay here for proximity to beach and The Nest. It’s comfortable but certainly not high end details.

Great location and extremely responsive property managers. Quiet in the off-season. Shower in main bedroom was fantastic.

It was a good time like usual. The family all enjoyed it. I got to do it swim every morning. We’ll be back next year.

Property was lovely and very clean. The power went out for 3-4 hours and the candles on the table were very helpful and much appreciated.

The Villa location was very nice, the Villa itself could use some care with updates with tv in bedrooms and squealing sliding glass door out to balcony, more comfortable balcony furniture, update bedroom furniture in master bedroom, and the bedding didn’t smell like it had been washed, the sofa smelled of stinky feet. It’s a very nice view from villa itself, nice and quiet and very accommodating walking distance to beach.

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. So close to everything! The weather did not cooperate, but we found so many things to do: bike rides, delicious meals, walks on the beach. The condo was clean and well-appointed. Everything we needed was provided. I will definitely recommend your home to our friends and we weill be back!

Great location, great place, very clean.
You can walk to The Sanctuary and the village market which is nice. Just remember RENT A CAR! You do not have access to island transportation. You have to be staying at a Kiawah owned property. We still had everything we needed and beach access was great! The free rental equipment was a great touch. Last thing, THANK YOU for not making us clean the place while charging a cleaning fee. We just put the key in the lockbox and left! I would
Certainly recommend this place for anyone wanting to unwind!

We love windswept villas and have stayed at several over the years. This is definitely one of our favorites. The luxury vinyl flooring made it very easy to keep the sand swept up throughout the week. The bunkbeds were a favorite for our two daughters age 5 and 3. The lower bunk is a king size so they could share that one if they were too scared to get on the top bunk some nights. Akers Ellis left a really nice welcome basket with a water bottle and information. There was plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, and trash bags which is something we’ve had issues with at other stays. The location of this unit made it easy to get down the stairs to the beach and also had a great view of the ocean from the master bedroom and the balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony early in the morning and watching the deer walk around outside.

Property was ‘as advertised’ - great patio with water view and short walk to the sand.
Only complaints were related to 2nd bedroom - the room needs additional window blackout shades or curtains as the outdoor light shines in and can’t be shut off. Additionally the USB outlets in the bed cubby have bright blue lights that need to be blocked.
We loved the property and will definitely consider it again!

Great location. Quiet property. Loved the deck with the beautiful view. We ate breakfast every morning outside even though it was chilly. Comfortable unit. Desk in the living room was very nice with beach view. Very impressed with the service from the property manager and beach gear partner. Organized, efficient and good communication. Would stay here again on our next visit.

First time in Kiawah, but the beach was amazing. The property is oceanfront and ideally located. Great space for the whole family and very responsive professional management. Never felt like I wasn’t being taken care of. Awesome stay!

The location of his beachfront condo was perfect. It’s on the second floor and looks down through a forest of oaks to the ocean. The boardwalk and sand or just a few minutes walk. The beach at this point is extremely wide lots of room to play with children.

This property was very pretty. The photos are accurate in depicting the layout and furnishings. Ocean view and access. Property manager was extremely communicative and made everything super easy. Loved that. Location great. Pretty beach - well maintained buildings. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. Two things to consider. There are stairs up to the elevator. There is no way to access the units without dealing with stairs, (Could be a mobility issue for some) - The 2nd bedroom has a built in loft bed. It can be difficult to get out of for older adults. The loft above for kids is super cute. Just know that scooting out of bed and over the frame was a challenge as an older adult. Overall rating - very nice!!

Very nice unit with really nice amenities. Kitchen was really nice with lots of cooking tools. The views of the ocean/beach from the main bedroom, the desk area and of course the porch were great. Great space to lounge around. Nice sized bathrooms. Just a few things needed, coffee pot had a crack, need newer pans (warped), wicker furniture needs to be replaced (broken seating), box of tissues?, The villas really needs a ramp to the first floor. We saw a family carrying a person on a wheelchair just to get to the elevator. This is a deal breaker as there is no handicap access to any of the units.

two communication failures. The elevator to the second store requires climbing of a dozen stairs. we are seniors and had a lot to load in, and were exhausted after an hour. I had called a month earlier to confirm and was told elevator and no problem loading in. Also we requested to be considered for checking in prior to 4 PM and were told we would be contacted as soon as the cleaning inspection was completed and it might be prior to 4. No text or email was ever received. But on the good side, spacious, furnished, nice amenities, outstanding wifi internet, nice refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer, decent water pressure for shower. One detail is the freezer had a strong freezer burn smell and needs to be aired out, baking soda treatment

The property was just what we needed for a last minute trip to the island. Conveniently located with access to everything.

Very nice place to stay. Really liked the covered patio along with the view. The condo is located close to the stairs for an easy access with going in and out. If we visited this area again, I would look into renting this condo.

We had an amazing stay at the Villas. The condo was neat and clean -- it had all of the amenities and more that we needed and could have asked for. The washer and dryer was key! My two teenage children had a blast and were very comfortable in the second bedroom. The master bedroom with a view of the ocean from bed was awesome! As was the giant bathroom and all glass shower. When we were at the condo, we spent the bulk of our time on the deck. The view, salt air and ocean breeze were amazing. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. Having it just a short walk away was great. The ocean water temps were warm and the water was clear. The beach was big, clean and not crowded. During our stay on the island, we took bike rides on the paths and on the beach. We rode to the river and watched dolphins feed. We also saw pelicans, flamingos, deer and alligators at the resort. My husband and son golfed and went charter fishing too. One night we drove to Bohicket Marina for dinner. We ate outside at the dock where there was live music and a beautiful sunset. Finally, the local market and shopping village was fantastic to have so close. It was so nice to be able to just go and grab any items that were needed.

Had a lovely stay in this villa. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds, lovely view of the ocean, and a cool ocean breeze. Great location and simple walk to the Sanctuary Hotel for some great dining options. Super easy walk to the beach. Also, we had a minor problem with the toilet flusher in the bathroom and maintenance arrived and fixed it within 2 hours of my call to Akers Eilis. Great service!

Though there was some confusion due to my booking through VRBO and then having to re-register with the property management, overall we had a great trip. We could hear and see the beach from our unit. Unit was very clean and a slight problem with some lights was quickly fixed. Everything else worked perfectly. One down side was that a previous guest put dishes away dirty. Overall, great stay and will consider renting again.

This was a beautiful place to unwind. Loved being surrounded by trees and wildlife and being close to the beach. The only thing I would change is a ramp was needed at the front entrance. This property is not wheelchair friendly. However the trails around the perimeter is wheelchair accessible. Would like to go back and maybe find a unit with easier access and beachfront.
