Ein "solides", aber etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit einem sehr freundlichen Personal.

Der Lounge- und Bar-Bereich sowie die Tatsache, dass es einen Fitness- und Wellnessbereich gibt. Außerdem die Freundlichkeit des Personals.

Der Zustand des Zimmers bzw. des gesamten Hotels. Es wirkt ein wenig "in die Jahre gekommen". Der Fitness- und Wellnessbereich ist etwas lieblos gestaltet.

Prima voor zakelijke overnachting, fijne locatie voor MECC en MUMC+

Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en smaakvol. Er is zelfs taart/vlaai zoals het in Limburg past. Gezellige ontbijtzaal. Locatie perfect voor MECC of het ziekenhuis, op loopafstand. Personeel vriendelijk, veelal Engelstalig. We kregen onverwachts een upgrade naar een superior kamer en waren gast van de dag met een gratis drankje in de bar. Leuke verrassing.

Ook als hadden we een upgrade van de kamer, de kamers zijn wel wat oubollig. Een fresh up zou niet verkeerd zijn. Voor de rest prima verblijf.

Too pricey for what it offers

The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had good variety, including made to order eggs. The parking was spacious and secure with direct access to the hotel.

My room was situated on the ground floor next to a meeting room, which felt awkward. The hotel restaurant was poor value for money, too expensive for the offered mediocre food quality (10 euros for a half liter beer, all entrees cost more than 24 euros). Overall, the room and offerings did not justify the extremely high cost per night.

Ein rundum gelungener Kurzurlaub

an sich Alles - Zimmer gut ausgestattet, Hotel insgesamt interessant gestaltet. Frühstück war reichhaltig, wenngleich der Frühstücksraum für einen Rollstuhlfahrer nur mäßig bis gar nicht geeignet ist. Aber die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals hat diese kleine Misslichkeiten absolut ausgeglichen. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Das Hotel hatte leider kein rollstuhlgerechtes Zimmer, so dass ich nicht duschen konnte. Aber letztlich ist das nur ein kleiner Mangel für mich - ich hatte vorab nach einem rollstuhlgerechten Zimmer gefragt gehabt. Man hatte darauf nicht geantwortet, weswegen ich davon ausgegangen war, es wäre ok. hätte nochmals nachfragen sollen.

Royale kamer, goede ligging bij bezoek aan het Mecc. Met de taxi snel naar gewenste doelen.

Prima ontbijt, goed personeel. Goede bedden.

De badkamers op de 1e etage links zijn nodig aan renovatie toe, douchen in bad is uit de tijd. Krakende glas afscheidingen en spiegels waarin plekken zitten die op roest lijken. Bad eruit en inloop douche van maken. Ook de naar binnen toe draaiende deur van de badkamer verkleind deze nog meer. Een goede badkamer is een belangrijk onderdeel van je tevreden voelen in een hotel. Aktie dus !!!

Prima hotel

Prima locatie voor als je in/rond het MECC moet zijn maar met de bushalte voor de deur ben je ook zo in het centrum van Maastricht. Goede kamer en badkamer, prima (lange ) bedden, het is allemaal misschien niet meer heel erg 'nieuw' maar het is er netjes, schoon en alles functioneert prima. Fijn dat het mogelijk is om op de kamer zelf koffie/thee te maken. Het ontbijt was echt top! Vers, lekker, uitgebreid, aandacht voor glutenvrij/vegan en er werd ook steeds goed aangevuld.

Pleasant

Breakfast was great, convenient location with easy parking. Super friendly Staff at reception and did like the "self check out" store items. Appreciated the fan as our room didn't have air condition.

Bathroom could have been cleaner - "Silverfish" were crawling around and towels weren't changed on a regular basis. Not been able to open the window in the midst of a heatwave. Not been able to eat in the restaurant once in a 5 night stay. One reason we booked the hotel was that it had a restaurant as we were in the midst of a move and were looking forward to a nice meal without having to drive. In the five days we were there we weren't able to get one reservation - it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed plus the kitchen closed at 8pm (?). Definitely something to be aware of as the closest restaurants are about 10min drive.

Upon arrival they told me there would be no electricity and no warm water the next day. Probably for required maintenance, but I would have liked to know when booking the prior day

Nice hotel if you have a meeting at MECC conference center

I was travelling for work, and the hotel is conveniently near the MECC congress center. Maastricht is small, so I could walk anywhere else in less than 20 minutes. The staff was promptly available at the reception. My room (superior) was spacious.

There was a blackout where the entire hotel was with no electricity. The emergency lights in the staircase did not work (or did not exist?). The staff seemed unprepared. No apologies from the hotel.

don’t stay in 464. ask for a better room.

the shop is self service and open all night. there is also welcome cake and fresh water. the staff were very nice but the hotel is a bit out of date and frayed /crumbling around the edges.

they put me in room 464. no air con. it was so hot. also no iron and the room was a bit crummy. felt really icky. had almost no sleep and was exhausted next day for work so I complained and got moved to a much nicer room. not sure why they would put anyone in 464. it’s horrific.

It was perfect for a 1 night stay, but I think it was a little overpriced.

Breakfast was fantastic! The rooms were lovely, but the bathrooms could do with a bit of a makeover!

The shower over the bath is impractical. One can't reach the tap without getting wet.

Sucked

The fire alarm was set off by a smoking guest at 01:00. My son was there to take his entrance exams for medical school. we couldn't sleep after that. The staff was unapologetic and refused to provide any compensation. The manager wouldn't even look at us when she curtly said 'no'.

Welcome bites at the entrance are a nice touch to have, while waiting for the receptionist

I chose a double bed option but only got 2 single beds. The receptionist did not inform me about this, although I got an email from Booking.com that my special requests were approved.

Enjoyable we used the hotel as a staging post traveling into Germany and Belgium.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the car park was behind the hotel. The hotel is quite a distance from the town centre but the local bus service was just outside the main entrance. There is not much to do were the hotel is situated bur we didn't find this an issue.

Comfortable and relaxed stay

Our stay was comfortable and relaxed. The room had everything we needed, and we liked the range of TV channels, including BBC and ITV. The serve-yourself shop was well stocked - we bought a range of things. The staff were friendly and professional, and answered all our queries. We were also very happy with the range and quality of food and drink on offer at breakfast.

The location - although the bus service was very good, both to the station and the city centre, Everything else was great.

Comfort and relax

I really enjoyed the comfort of the room and the environment in general. The spa is a big big plus!

I would include the breakfast in the room payment or at least low the price a little bit; the smart tv should be a must in a 4 stars hotel; the staff is very kind, but sometimes the information they give are confusing.
