Lovely clean hotel spacious and friendly
Entertainment could be better

This is a large hotel in a good location by the lake very close to Bardolino centre with its own large swimming pool and bar/food area. The hotel has an arrangement that guests can also use the lido at the lake side across the road by showing their pass (subject to availability). There were 2 rooms in our booking and we asked that they be close together. They gave us rooms directly opposite each other were but we didn't like one of the rooms because the balcony was overlooking a footpath surrounded by trees. The staff were very helpful and changed our room to a brighter one looking out over the central courtyard with grass and fountains which was much nicer. Although the rooms weren't together now, it wasn't a problem for us and we were still on the same floor. Apparently balcony rooms with 2 single beds are in shorter supply so we were happy they found us a nice room, especially as it was high season. All staff are friendly at breakfast and at the pool bar area. We didn't have any evening meals at the hotel.
We had a look at the spa one afternoon but it seemed very quiet and there was a notice stating that you need to pay 10 euros to use it. We decided not to. The weather was hot and sunny so I expect most people wanted to be outside.

The room was spacious and very cool on hot days.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, and we liked the full-size shower and balcony.
The pool was nice, and the access to the lake was convenient.
One of the workers behind the reception desk was very uninformed about local events, rude, and refused to help me. We book hotels rather than apartments for the reception help as we don't speak the language, and she was not interested in doing her job. One worker was very helpful, though. I was grateful for Katia's help.
I stayed for 3 weeks and maybe thought that would not only qualify for a rate discount but at least a bottle of water each day, but we were denied. The entertainment was very bad compared to previous years.
The breakfast was very plentiiful and varied, but not cooked well, so it was mostly disappointing. The rolls were gummy and served from a plastic box, like a gumball machine, which basically ruined them. We stay every year for the above reasons, but we may start trying another hotel.

The restaurant staff - reception staff were excellent. The location is perfect which is why we have always stayed with you for the last fifteen years or more.
The only complaint we have is that the pool attendant was rather officious and would not allow minor movement of bed chairs which after enquiry we understand is not the company policy. Therefore this seems as if this it is something he chose to impose himself. This caused quite a lot of discomfort to guests during the heat of the afternoon when many people were trying to find shade. I think this is something that should definitely be addressed. Perhaps the signs he made rather than state 'it is forbidden to move the chairs' should state that something like ' to assist pool staff please replace chairs to their original position before you leave'

Locate by the lake, with fantastic swimming pool and close to town center.
Looks better on pictures than in reality.

The location is perfect. 1 minute walk into Barddolino. Also right on the lakes edge (lierally).
Room needed sprucing up a bit and the lake view we had was not a full view of the lake.

The location of this hotel is superb; so close to the lake and with free access to the Lido Mirabello Beach and its sunbeds. We had a Deluxe double room and it was great; a really big room with modern fixtures and fittings. The balcony was huge! When booking on this website, the deluxe room suggests there is a lake view, but the lake isn't visible from any rooms. We had a garden view, which was great.
The swimming pool was enormous but beware if travelling with children (we weren't) - the pool is deep at both ends and there is no children's pool. There were always sunbeds available and a lifeguard on duty whenever we went there.
Breakfast was available in two restaurants, one open 7:30-10:00 and one open 8:30-11:00. They both serve the same food, it just depends where you prefer to eat! There was a huge selection of items available, from cooked items to cake!
It is just a short (5 minutes) walk to the ferry station, shops and restaurants.
I can highly recommend this hotel but maybe not if travelling with young children.
Maybe it would be nice to have different options in the two breakfast restaurants. Maybe one of them could provide food cooked to order. We would have been happy to pay a little more for freshly cooked items.

Location, Bardolino is a nice town
Staff wasn't very friendly, facilities vary average, breakfast poor for that price, 10am check out, paying for beach towels and access on day of check out

The food at the grill restaurant, persented cold and not fresh, probably pre-cooked.

Loved the hotel, great location, with excellent facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Nothing to dislike about the hotel.

The grounds and the location. Breakfast was good but we didn't have any other meals here.
Our daughter's room door had a broken lock so they gave her a better room but it meant she wasn't next door to us. The 2nd room she was given had a balcony door which didn't seal, 2cm gap all round. This meant the air con didn't always work. Our bedding diid have old mould stains on, small black spots. The bedding was clean so not a problem.

Fantastic location! Only a couple of minutes walk to the lake and five minutes walk from shops, restaurants and transport facilities (boat and bus), yet still in an idyllic, peaceful location with gorgeous gardens. My room (superior with balcony) was well furnished and clean with a lovely view of the gardens and fountains below. There was a wide selection of food available at breakfast and the staff were efficient. I had dinner on the first evening and there were many choices available from the buffet - great value for 20 euros too. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. It was great having an indoor pool (which was one of the main reasons for me choosing this hotel) as the weather wasn't hot enough to use the outdoor pool. I visited several other resorts during my stay and was glad that I had chosen Bardolino as it is a great location for exploring the area.
The housekeeping staff didn't replenish the tea bags, milk or stirrer very frequently, however when I mentioned this to the Reception staff it was attended to promptly.
