well situated comfortable room
would have been nice to be told in advance that the restaurant and bar in the Palacio were closed on Mondays, we would have ensured we had provisions with us.The whole town was virtually closed so struggled for food and drink after travelling for 6 hours.

such a beautiful building in a lovely village location and with parking!
The very traditional room was comfy and we were able to have our dog accompany us.
Great, too, that there’s a good restaurant on site…we stopped in a 4* the following night which wasn’t half as good as this hotel. Will look forward to another visit!

Beautiful building with many original features. Fantastic location, backing right onto the Collegiate of San Bartolomé, a 15th-century church. If you walk 2 mins round to the back of the church, you get a great view of the castle. Rooms are simple, yet stylish and comfortable. During unusually cold weather, the room was warm, and beds really comfortable. Underground car park accessed via room key fob. Friendly and helpful staff. Owner speaks very good English, which was helpful when my pocito Spanish failed.
Very good restaurant, reasonably priced with varied menu, from beautifully presented local produce to a cheeseburger that my 10 year-old declared a 10/10.
Just wish we could have stayed longer. This was a pit-stop for us during a long drive, but it's a little gem of a town, steeped in history.
My only negative was that there is no kettle in the room, although I understand that this is common in Spain. My family doesn't like me before I've had a coffee in the morning! The manager was very accommodating and offered to provide hot water for my cafetiere, but we had to leave before the restaurant opened in the morning.

The place is beautiful and rooms comfortable. Breakfast was great
Reception isn’t opened 24hrs and restaurant not opened everyday. That can be an issue is you expect it to be opened after a long trip because this was not notified in advance.

stay in a palace is a really nice experience, the staff was soooo kind to us all, the room was just amazing and the Jacuzzi on the room I would say is the best of our stay on this Palace!!! we will come back for sure ☺️

This is a great Hotel with helpful staff. The place was the HQ of the local Guardia Civil for over 100 years and some of the features reflect this in a very good way. There is a castle close by which is well worth a visit and was a bit of a surprise to us. We had underground secure parking . Our room had a view of the castle . Siesta time and the whole town sleeps and it is a quiet sleepy town. Well worth a visit.
The restaurant menu could do with an update.

Entrance and reception area impressive. Free secure parking. Venison and wine excellent
Room 204 with jacuzzi not worth 109 euros. Only one small inaccessible window. Evening meal a disaster, ordered medium rare steak for my wife and was presented well done. Sent it back and it was returned 15 minutes later with the same cold potatoes, hence we ate separately. Breakfast very average. I did point this out to the staff

lovely Hospedería in an excellent location. Easy to access secure car parking. Big spaces so no issues unless you drive a tank. Evening dinner was excellent. And good value for money.

Nice spacious room with seating and table.
There was no comfortable outside space. The hotel was very hard to reach. Many roads were blocked, which is apparently normal, but we had no warning and our satnav couldn't cope! Also, someone was partying into the night and it was noisy.

really gorgeous historic hotel with gorgeous views overlooking the colegio. good size rooms.
there was absolutely no available food or drink catering on the Sunday I stayed and I was not advised on any breakfast provision on the Monday either. luckily I managed to find a local bakery on the Monday morning to get some madeleines but it was otherwise pretty miserable.

The welcome once we arrived at the hotel was very friendly.
It was great to have the parking facilities keeping the car off the road, for security and keeping the car cool.
The hotel was very clean, the bedroom was pristine. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft, which I love. The view from the room was lovely you could see the castle.
I didn’t take any photos of the hotel but would recommend it.
Very good value 🌸
It was a shame we didn’t get to dine in as we had travelled 5 1/2 hrs and were looking forward to some nice food. The restaurant was closed as they had a very busy week the previous number of days.
