Whilst Parador Antequera may not have wow factor of other paradores, it was really comfortable, convenient and good value for money. A great location close to the town centre, which so many interesting historical sites to visit. Close to the Alsa bus station which means it’s really accessible. Bedrooms have a corporate feel but still very comfortable and clean.
4.5
A clean and spacious hotel with comfortable beds and friendly staff. There was a nice pool and it was a peaceful place to stay. Civilised guests who don’t fight over sunloungers. Lovely views from the restaurant and garden areas. I liked the fact everyone had their own bamboo tongs for the buffet breakfast which is a great idea and so hygienic. They serve good strong coffee at breakfast. It is very close to the bus station
Really can’t think of anything. I would only suggest they consider installing a bird bath on the lawn outside the restaurant. I’m sure the birds would love it and the guests enjoy watching them
4.5
Hotel in good location. Easy walk into the town. Room spacious, clean and what you expect from a Parador hotel. Evening meal in the Restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.
The beds were too firm. We stayed in a Parador the previous night and the beds were the same there. Not sure if it is a Spanish thing to have firm beds!!

location
standard of rooms. a bit shabby

Staff at Caffeteria were missing too often. People came and left because of the wait.

Breakfast was disappointing

Very helpful staff and very clean
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
2.5
Contemporary rooms, beds and bathrooms which were all nice and clean.
Expensive, especially the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was not good. Nothing to do in the hotel in winter. It lacks warmth and character with stark decorations and lighting.

location
food, restaurant was terrible. diner very bad. the fish was RAW. diner was served very late. panic with the staff.
restaurant was only open from 20:30. everyone was waiting from 19:00 outside.
also at breakfast!!! nothing was working. there was only one very lovely lady. she was alone and taking care of everything. she was great . keeping smiling and friendly. terrible for a parador . to not have enough staff at restaurant.
showers at the rooms were defected.
the staff were doing their best. but it is a management and director issue!!!

lovely modern building a 20 minute walk from the old town.

Easy 10 minute walk into central area very close to bus station only 5 minutes away. Very modern clean and airy pool area was very nice but too cold during our stay to take advantage of that facility which was a shame. Reception staff were very helpful at checkin also with info and directions.
Service at breakfast was poor staff were not attentive had to get up and ask to order a cooked breakfast also request more coffee and even a spoon for cereal pity really because the buffet set up was excellent great choice restaurant was very nice with great views just felt the service could have been better.

clean & good location
very limited restaurant & bar menu, especially if you don’t eat red meat. no atmosphere in bar or attempt to create an atmosphere. Very brightly lit, no music, had to press a button to order drinks which sometimes took several attempts.

Very nice, clean and spacious rooms and facilities, on-site parking, very convenient base to explore central Andalusia (1 hour drive from Granda, Malaga and Ronda)
Breakfast is pretty basic and costs 18 Eu per person
4.0
Very attentive staff.
Good position.
This is a parador in name only. It is really just a hotel. Its also a new build, so no historical character as expected with a parador.
4.0
position and car park
bit clinical, no ambience

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, very easy access to the town with excellent parking. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable.
While most members of staff provided excellent service, we had a canteen style service on 2 days. We couldn’t find basics, spoons, coffee, milk and breakfast bowls. This was disappointing.
4.0
The hotel was well located for exploring the area. the bedroom was comfortable and most of the staff were helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant which we enjoyed and where the staff were fantastic.
The breakfast was expensive and definitely not worth the money. There was a section for hot food which empty throughout our breakfast, clean bowls weren’t always available and the tea and coffee making facilities were confusing so caused queues.
