Large, spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Strong AC, fast WiFi.
Bathroom lighting was quite dark.

The location and facilities were great. I didn’t get the name of the concierge that checked me in but he was lovely and so helpful. It was my birthday weekend and I got a sweet surprise.
I noticed some areas were dated or stained. The room equipment could be wiped down a little better.

Nothing
when it comes to racism at this hotel , Indians are not invited here !! The guys named as John , Alfred and Sarvana are next to impossible who are always rude to us while having a conversation!! I made up a request as we came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday!! I told them for a cake on that particular day 17th Aug they don’t even bothered to approach us !! We kept on waiting for the entire day but nothing happened!!
We had even skipped our breakfast just to avoid people like Sarvana who was a torture to Indians

Its a really spacious property and perfectly placed.
You can go for a walk at quay as its very near. Bus stop is just in the front and MRT is very close.
They clean the room and refill the water and coffee stuffs everyday. Good customer service as well

The location and convenience to public transport was probably the only good things we could spot during our stay.
- Was overall disappointed with the hotel. I would suggest booking a highly rated budget hotel than stay here which pretends to be a 'fancy hotel' but is actually just a mediocre budget hotel.
- Had to book two rooms based on hotel's guidelines with small children. Specifically asked for the rooms to be beside each other (request made well in advance) and they could still not provide that.
- Hotel check in staff not particularly courteous and bordering condescending which was a bad way to start.

The pool, and the egg station at breakfast.
No furniture to sit outside on the balcony.

Breakfast average! Pool fab!! Room say 85 percent staff delightful and so helpful!! Bar great for later night drinks!!
Breakfast could be better!!!
Room a bit dark needed a bit if a spark up!!
Bed very hard
Shower dangerous have to have a recess not a bath too hard for oldies!!

Staff were friendly and helpful at the checkin desk and concierge.
The shower pressure was very weak. The shower was over the bath with a large step over to get in and out of the shower… not very safe. We couldn’t get out onto the balcony as the digital door handle didn’t work… disappointing as we booked a balcony room to use the facility. The fridge didn’t seem to cool drinks to a cold temperature. No power points near the bed head for my husband to use his sleep/ breathing machine Anna when we asked if we could have an extension lead there was not any at all to use.

Cocktail Hour through the club room payment, was good. Nothing was obvious like a normal club room’s cocktail hour. At least the food was fresh, which was a huge benefit and appreciated.
The Club Room, should not be charged if it is not up and running. Free drinks and nibbles should have been put in the room if and when the club room is not available . Pillows were terrible, Genie iPad was useless and none of us could work out how to use it or turn it off; maybe it’s old age. But it needs to be easy for everyone to use. As per the paperwork it said we had complimentary drinks in the fridge, but nothing was in the fridge. Tv did not work, door bell did not work; and when we rang for it to be fixed up nothing happened. Had a stand up fight with the guy at the breakfast counter as he said we were not entitled to breakfast. We had paid for the club room extras, your records should have been updated. We should not of had to have a stand up argument and then have to go to our rooms to get the paperwork as proof.

The location, food and hospitality of staff !
Hmmm, difficult to tell as most of the time out of the hotel! Overall it was a good experience.

When booking out the 2 door men were perfect.
Booking in was terrible. Was the only place that did except my card to pay. Ended up using my personal card which charged me an extra $80. Just to think I have to do this again in about 2 weeks 😪

llocation
the showers were the worst we have ever had. staff were ok but not friendly and when a miscommunication arose one of them was rude. signs in laundry need updating and the breakfast was very poor
3.6
The bed was comfy and the whole place was very quiet.
The cleaning lady overlooked invisaligns of the previous customer in my bathroom. The television has no access to the internet and in the lobby I think I was bitten by a mosquito. Breakfast was not to my taste at all, so I stopped eating after the first time.

The team tried their Best
No Furniture On the balcony and breakfast was chaotic.

Comfortable bed.
Good air conditioning.
Very strong artificial fragrant smell in reception area. Not good for a sensitive nose!
Unsafe/Slippery bath/shower.
Seemed very wasteful disposing of our toothbrushes everyday!

I loved the room - its size and configuration, and its design / decor gives an old-world eastern charm fused with modern conveniences. The hotel, though quite old, exudes a welcoming coziness. I felt right at home. This hotel could be my new favourite in Singapore. And it smells very nice, too.
Although the bathroom has been beautifully updated, I'm not a fan of a shower-bath combo. There was no toilet roll when I checked in - had to wait for about 25 minutes to have it delivered. Then as I was showering, discovered that the wall-mounted shower gel dispenser was totally empty. Housekeeping staff took almost 30 minutes to send those little bottles of amenities, instead of just refilling the dispenser; I don't speak a word of Mandarin, so communicating with the staff was a challenge.
Breakfast (at 9am on Sunday, 21 May) was a crowded, contact-sport experience. The buffet was not very impressive, either.
3.6
It was very clean. Really good bed. Great swimming pool area and plenty of towels.
Staff very helpful. The buffet breakfast could not be faulted. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing....it was excellent
3.6
Location even better than previous stays as New MRT line partially open and hotel now just 6 minutes walk from Havelock station. That means Changi airport to hotel without leaving the subway in 1hour ish
All good

Staff were amazing. Hotel was central to the purpose of our trip. Variety of food for breakfast buffet, coffee machine was good. Whilst we didn't use the wellness facilities, they looked amazing. Gym was well equipped, putting green, pool, spa, steam room. Would definately stay again.

I booked one room for client and requested for early check-in but they charged client for early check-in.

Hotel is old but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially in the dining room. A special thanks to Justin and Shawn. Beds and pillows are super comfortable.
It’s an old hotel and the bathroom was a bit dated and had some broken tiles and a little mould. Could do with an upgrade.
3.6
friendly staff
Concierge had our bags and forgot to put them in taxi when we left. We had to pay taxi to retrieve bags and bring them to our next hotel. Staff told taxi driver we said we’d be back to collect bags later thats why they were not put in taxi. This was not true!
3.6
Location was very good with cafes and restaurants close by
Bathroom was in need of refurbishment and modernisation
3.6
Breakfast times were fine, food served till 10am
Food was often cold.
Only one toast machine, people always queuing,
we often gave up waiting
We booked the executive floor, the dedicated executive lounge on level 3 was very disappointing, tea, coffee, Oreo’s, pot noodles & cereal 😩😩
We were told that drinks were free between 5-8pm in the Connections Lounge Bar due to us booking the executive rooms, not all drinks were included. In general
Reception stated cocktail’s were included but bar staff said they weren’t 😩😩
Mixed, confusing staff communication.
3.6
Buffet breakfast which came with the cost of the room was excellent.
Friendly staff
No milk in the bar fridge for tea or coffee and having to pay $6 to get some from the hotel.
No where to charge my phone in my room.
The buffet dinner was expensive .
3.6
location and friendly staff
water temperature fluctuation and cleanliness is below par
3.6
Locality was ideal, next to restaurants etc and also the MRT station which is easy to navigate and very cheap to use.
Balcony door was broken, called maintenance and they taped the catch so it was constantly fully open. I repeatedly wedged it shut at nights but the cleaners always removed it next day. I considered it a security risk. Also, was not room I booked on here but staff said you don't always get what you think you've booked on booking.com.
3.6
Very close to the bus.. just outside, and only a short walk to the mrt.
Good breakfasts with lots of choices, and egg bar for freshly made stuff. Asian and western tastes covered.
Problems sorted quickly after contact with staff.
Any problems had to be dealt with via the app.
And not always easy after arriving.
